The Red Barn offers an additional 2,200 sq ft of additional entertainment space and is equipped with seating lounges, 7 arcade games, popcorn machine, mini refrigerator, side by side basketball, dome hockey, pool table, shuffleboard, giant connect 4 and more. The Barn is a fantastic space for larger groups to congregate and make memories.

**Red Barn Ranch is an organic and sustainable farm stay experience. All of our products are eco friendly and non animal tested. We have implemented sustainable practices around the farm (Yes, we do compost!) Our guests have the opportunity to see what sustainable living is all about! and of course, let us know if you'd like to learn more! We would be happy to show you. We are the farmers and we live on property in a separate unit which is within our own gated area. We are always available if something is needed but we like to give our guests their privacy to enjoy the property and all of the amenities privately. You may see us coming and going through our gate or perhaps working in the vineyard or feeding the chickens and ducks.

Get ready to enjoy a lazy afternoon on the Farmhouse porch as you take in the sounds of nature. After a leisurely morning, spend the afternoon hiking on one of the many famous hiking trails nearby. Work up an appetite conquering Potato Chip rock and then settle into the afternoon with an invigorating swim in the pool or relax in the hot tub and gaze at the stars. If you enjoy golf, visit the captivating golf course at Mt. Woodson Golf Club or San Vicente Resort and Golf Club. Many unique and wonderful wineries dot the neighborhood and offer many local estate wines that are like no other. From the house it is possible to stroll to Principe di Triscase, Hacienda de las Rosas, Cactus Star Vineyard and Woof'n Rose. There are more than 30 wineries located within a 10 mile radius, making wine tours and tasting adventures easily accessible. While Ramona feels like you are a world away from civilization, you are within a 40 minute drive of any and all of the attractions within the greater San Diego area. This is a lovely jumping off point to visit the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Lego Land, The Safari Park, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Del Mar and La Jolla Beaches, Coronado or apple picking in Julian.

Used the Farmhouse as base camp for a wedding nearby. We catered in the Rehearsal Dinner & Day After Brunch and between the picnic area and red barn entertained two events of 40-50 people with plenty of room to spare.

I can’t quite find the right words to describe how happy my family and I were with this property. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the property was amazing. My family always looks for unique properties while traveling and this one is at the top of our list! The animals are perfect entertainment for the kids. They stayed outside and watched them and fed them for hours. The game barn was EVERYTHING they needed to keep them entertained during our stay. It was filled with every game you could imagine. There was also a pretzel and popcorn machine, mini fridge sound system, microwave and piano amongst the games. The house itself was perfect for our large group of 13 traveling from across the country. After the 5 hour plane ride it was the perfect place to unwind. It was also equipped with everything we needed to make this the perfect home away from home. Carissa was also extremely attentive and responsive when we had questions and made sure to follow up to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

This property was relaxing, fun, clean, and perfect for our gathering. We appreciated the owner so much. Everything was perfect. Wedding weekend
Our family stayed at the Red Barn while we were in town for a wedding. The house was perfect for us! The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were all comfortable. The game room was a big hit and everyone enjoyed the pool. Karissa was amazing and always responded within minutes. Cannot wait to come back!!!

Fantastic Getaway
We had a family gathering in this idyllic spot. The property is first rate, clean, comfortable and spacious. There is something for everyone - pool, hot tub, quiet space and an enormous renovated barn with video games, electronic darts, stereo system, pool table, shuffleboard table and a giant projection TV. The home is warm and conducive to family meals and time together with a lovely front porch, back patio and outdoor eating area with multiple sold wood picnic tables as well. Read, relax, cook and visit local vineyards and great hiking trails. Carissa is an amazing host who is responsive to any questions you have. Ramona is just a 5 minute drive away. We loved our stay here.

Amazing time at The Ranch
We stayed at the Ranch as a family (13 people with ages from 4 to 77). It was PERFECT for our group. Lots of room to roam. The pool was perfect for some cool fun during our summertime stay. The house was clean and more than enough room for us all to sleep, eat and just relax. Communication with host was quick, easy and very helpful.

Country relaxation
This large home in rural Ramona was terrific for our extended family vacation bringing travelers from the west coast and east coast together to visit Grandma and Grandpa in nearby Escondido. The family room, dining room and kitchen are green great gathering areas. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool area was perfect for relaxing and lots of time for talking.

Wonderful Family Weekend!
We all enjoyed the Red Barn Ranch very much! Carissa was very easy to communicate with and check-in was a breeze. Our family of 12 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peace and solitude of this beautiful home. The pool was a huge plus, which was enjoyed by all. The grandkids loved playing all the games in the barn, feeding the ducks and just exploring! Smores at the fire pit was a big hit as well! Thank you Carissa!

Paradise on the farm
We had an absolutely wonderful time tucked away on the Red Barn Ranch. The space went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in our party — lots of space to explore for both the adults and the kids. Our hosts were extremely easy to communicate with, taking the time to offer up a tour of their chicken coop and help us book a private chef experience. There’s lots to check out nearby and a perfect oasis at your fingertips if you want to simply relax on the spacious property.

Perfect, comfortable farm house
We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Red Barn Farmhouse! It was so comfortable with so much room for all of our party. We loved all the decorations especially the suitcase end table in the living room. Being able to watch the chickens and ducks every day was a ton of fun with our grandkids! Beautiful property! Perfect for small family getaway.
Excited to finally be able to get together responsibly, my husband and I hosted our families (16 people total) at the Red Barn Ranch. The property is beautiful, rustic yet full of plenty of comforts. All the outdoor space is great, with more games than you'll even have time for. The hosts are attentive and considerate. Highly recommend!

Thrilled with our stay!
We booked this sweet farmhouse for my daughter's sixth birthday. She and her cousins had a blast exploring their beautiful surroundings, collecting eggs from the chicken coop (!), climbing play structures and swimming in the pool. The house itself was immaculate, kitchen well appointed, and there was plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful farmhouse! The SD zoo is about a 35 minute drive away, easily doable for one of our days. Carissa also referred us to her private chef who cooked such an amazing meal for the group one night. Thank you Carissa for being such a wonderful host. It was a memorable trip to say the least :) And a welcome respite from city life during covid!

More than expected !
The house, the location and the host far exceeded our expectations for our weekend getaway at the farm! Carissa went above and beyond with special touches to make my husband‘s 50th birthday celebration just perfect and relaxing. She was accommodating to us and our dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed the Fresh eggs in the morning from their adorable chicken coop! Fun for all ages -teenagers ,younger kids and adults ,love the Jacuzzi looking at the stars at night and fun exploring the neighborhood hikes. Can’t wait to return in warmer months to use the beautiful swimming pool!

Fantastic Christmas Getaway
Everything from check in to check out was a breeze. A very welcoming host, with a beautifully decorated farm house made our small family reunion a big success. Beds were comfortable and the area was so peaceful. We all had a good night sleep and absolutely relaxing stay. Kitchen was well equipped that we did not have problem preparing our gourmet meals. The place was exactly what the owners described and pleasantly more than what we expected. Will be back for sure!

Beautiful country retreat!
Carissa’s property is amazing – stunning mountain views, great outdoor areas for grilling and lounging...even better than the photos could capture! Even with our big family the beautiful house felt spacious and everyone was comfortable. Carissa herself is an amazing host, responded quickly to any questions and gave us great advice on hiking trails and nearby wineries. We spent the days hiking and exploring and then relaxed back at the house in the evenings...the whole place made us feel at ease. You can tell that Carissa put a lot of effort into creating an inviting, restful place. For the price, this beautiful home can't be beat. Next time my husband and I will come back with a few couples instead of the kids!

Good location to escape. Property is nice and pool was great! Would have been nice if owner mentioned additional charge for heating the hot tub. I would have thought that was included in the nightly rate and wasn’t mentioned as a charge till the rental agreement was sent two days prior. House does need some work, a deep cleaning and has lots of ants (inside and out!)

Anniversary Party
Carissa and Cory were great to work with. Location was very nice. House and barn were clean. House was well stocked. My only con would be that the outside areas, porch, patio, corral dining, were not cleaned before our arrival. We cleaned them ourselves. But even with that said, I would go back in a heartbeat! We had a great, relaxing time! Really enjoyed the pool!

The perfect weekend get away.
My group of friends needed a weekend away from the big city, and this was perfect. From booking, to leaving- it couldn’t have gone smoother. The place looked like the pictures and more.
Owners lived on the property land and gave us all the space we needed. We forgot they were there sometimes. They eve gifted us with wine when we got there. Perfect hosts and a perfect house for the occasion.

Great Country Retreat
We gathered for a friend's 60th birthday and had an amazing time. The house was perfect, the kitchen was well equipped and the outside areas were amazing. We spent several nights around the fire pit watching the stars and the fog roll in. We took a short walk to the Principe di Tricase winery and had a blast sampling the wines and looking at the farm animals. Our hosts, Carissa and Cory were so nice and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Mostly wonderful
We rented this house for a family reunion. The property had many fun things to discover. The swimming pool was a huge hit with the kids.
I was disappointed that the yard work was done while we were trying to enjoy the property, complete with riding mowers and electric trimmers. It wasn't very relaxing.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. There wasn't as much common space as I had expected from the photos. We really enjoyed eating dinner in the corral area. It was lovely with the fairy lights.
Overall, I would recommend the property for 12 people.
