About this house rental

This Brand New 280 degree top floor view unit, features views of Avalon harbor and the village of Avalon including the Casino. 3 bedrooms, 2 king, 1 queen, all with own suites. Kitchen includes new stainless Bosch appliances, Soap stone and stainless steel counters, hardwood floors. There is also our laundry room with 2 bunks with porthole windows. A powder bath adjacent to great room. Decks for relaxing, sun bathing and bar-b-que, makes this an ideal for a get away for your entire family. Centrally located with just a 5 minute walk to downtown. Fully furnished with 5 tv's and Direct TV, Internet, fully equipped kitchen ware, linens.
Also, a 4 seater electric golf cart is included! A valid Driver’s licence is required.

We have come every year to Catalina since my children were babies and have rented most of the island. We love this house the serenity and the views. Teenage kids love having their own space and separate entrance in this unit.

The pictures is what you get! We got to the island really early and was able to use the golf cart to get to zipline at 12! Came back later and the room was ready so we could get ready for rehearsal dinner! Loved the view also! Couldn’t have picked a better place for a family get together! Some of our family stay up the street too!

The house is beautiful only to be outdone by the spectacular views. There are 2 decks and when we weren’t out and about, we loved sitting out in the beautiful weather. The kitchen is well stocked and the house worked out well for my family. The golf cart was extremely helpful but the walk to town is quick. The kitchen is well stocked but so much, took some time to locate everything. There was a delay with check in, but the hosts were very responsive.

stunning house with beautiful views. The rooftop was larger than I expected and comfortable furniture. One of the best vrbo on the island. Jan was very responsive. I didn't realize there was not AC in the whole house, just bedrooms. that's typical on the island.

Two families who have been coming to Avalon for over 50 years. We’ve rented many homes here, but this one is by far the most wonderful. The owners are very responsive. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen well-stocked. We especially appreciated the Culligan water dispenser! It was great to have the golf cart to visit the grocery store, but the house is so well-located, we hardly used the cart. We are already planning to come back.

We absolutely loved this place. It was comfortable, clean and the views were amazing. It was amazing to go up on the rooftop deck every night and watch the moon come over the mountains and see the harbor lights. We loved it!

We have been so happy to return to this beautiful home the last 4 summers for a week with our family! Our family loves to go out and enjoy an activity for a couple hours then come back and hang out at the house. The views are amazing and the home’s architecture and design are a treat to enjoy. The hosts are also very responsive and helpful. We are looking forward to summer #5!

I would rate this higher if I could! Beautiful, lovely home with designer furnishings! Great plus having the golf cart included. Host was always quick to get back to us with any inquiries we had. Rooftop has amazing views with gorgeous succulents. Plenty of outdoor spaces with views and nice outdoor furnishings as well. Wonderful gourmet kitchen. Beautiful woodwork in all bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable too. Highly recommend this home!

Extraordinary home, so well appointed, spacious and comfortable for our group of two couples and 3 friends to attend a fundraiser Ball in the Casino. Magnificent views from every corner of this beautiful house! The included golf cart helped get our luggage to and fro, but otherwise we walked everywhere up and down the hill (used neighborhood stairs nearby). Location was perfect! Appreciated the “Welcome” book with the history of the home. This was a dream vacation and we can’t wait to return!

Every aspect of this transaction was fabulous! Our host answered all our questions and was very helpful. The house is amazing and provides an incredible view all day! My only regret is that our group didn't stay longer. Two days was wonderful, but I strongly suggest staying on the island at least 3 days. I also suggest working with your group to stay in for late afternoon and the sunset. The view from this patios of this house is breathtaking! The availability of having the golf cart was very helpful, but the taxi service on the island is fast and reasonable ($21 from ferry landing to house). The walk from house to downtown (down hill) is easy, but it would be a bit of a climb returning. Also suggest the Art Museum that provides a fun history lesson of the island (closed on Mondays). We had a wonderful time and I can't wait to return.

My family was visiting Catalina to participate in the local annual golf tournament and this home was the perfect base for us to hangout. The home itself was very comfortable with million $$ views from all rooms. Due to the short duration of our stay we really couldn't enjoy all the features of this home, ie., gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill, rooftop deck etc.. The golf cart was a nice bonus . Jan was the perfect host allowing us early check in & late check out which was really appreciated.

Beautiful house, well equipped but the best thing is THE VIEW. Full harbor and ocean views for miles from 150’ above the harbor. Three outdoor decks provide varied sun and wind loads so you can move based on your preference. Highly recommended with 3 en-suite and an extra half bath too.

This beautiful home had everything for a perfect four day vacation with friends! The views were breathtaking and the golf cart made it easy to navigate the hill! The big screen TV in the great room made it the perfect place to watch football. We all appreciated the 3 bedrooms each having their very nice separate bathrooms! The house is beautiful and the views are amazing. Better in person than the pics online. We were a family of 5 and the 3 well appointed rooms and ensuite bathrooms worked out perfectly for us. We did not need the bunks in the laundry room. I think those are more suitable for kids. We were visiting Avalon for a wedding and would have loved to spend more time just relaxing at the house but enjoyed every minute we were able to take in the views from the roof top deck and the main deck patio too. Jan was very responsive to our questions before we arrived and accommodated our scheduling needs. We appreciated that so much. We look forward to staying again. The golf cart was a bonus even though it only seated 4 of us at a time....it was all good! Thank you Jan!!!

The pictures and description on VRBO doesn’t do this place justice! The views are incredible, the amenities are amazing, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the golf cart is a major plus! The host was extremely thorough during the check-in process as well. My family and I will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Catalina!!!

This is a very beautiful home with plenty of space and great views. It was great having the golf cart. Made quick trips to town, shopping, and sightseeing a lot easier. Hiking up the hill is a challenge otherwise. Would definitely like to return!!!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary and our 2 adult children, their spouses and 2 grandchildren joined (2 1/2 and 4 months). It was a splurge for us and definitely worth it. It was perfect for 3 couples…3 bedrooms (2 K’s, 1 Q) each with own bathroom and temp control. Absolutely breathtaking views from 3 different decks and from big open living area too. We did a family photo on top deck as sun setting (good lighting) with Pacific Ocean in the background. We had a toddler, so just need to closely watch exploring/climbing type toddlers on all decks. It worked out fine. it also comes with a golf cart, which was a godsend! Most destinations walkable, but home is up a pretty steep hill, so for those that might struggle with walking uphill, the cart is a gift! Also helps with transporting bags of groceries, even luggage! Hosts/owners friendly, kind, helpful, responsive. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely delightful visit to this home in Avalon. Jan and Matt were great hosts, any product that was running low was replaced immediately. The 3 outdoor areas are private and lovely. You can watch the sun rise or set, walk into town or take the electric golf cart. Groceries and lots of restaurants close by too. We’ll be back for sure.

The owners of this property were simply amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. The house is stunningly beautiful and to be honest I'm surprised they even rent it out. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable weekend at Catalina island.

This beautiful property gives you views for days from every viewpoint. The wonderful open floor plan flowed and everyone had a comfortable space. A nicely stocked kitchen made cooking easy and fun. The real bonus was having access to the golf cart as it was needed for groceries and moving up and down the hill for many of us. The hosts were excellent and this was one off the best properties I have ever rented. The roof deck views could not be beat! We have all taken away very fond memories from this stay.
