This was the perfect house for a couples getaway. Great communal space and kitchen. Each room has its own full bath. Very quiet and peaceful outside watching the cruise ships go by. The house has its quirks but was very clean. The beds were all super comfortable. Highly recommend this rental house.

Gorgeous house and views
House is gorgeous with a breathtakingly expansive view and fabulous windows to enjoy it with. All sorts of boats pass by for entertainment. Deer were often around and we saw the resident eagle twice. Wasn’t the season for the sea lions which was disappointing. House is very well maintained, like new, had everything we needed. Furniture selection was awesome - all the sofas and chairs invite you to just lounge and never get up! Deck was fabulous too. One con for us was that we didn’t care too much for one part of the house - what would have been the original part - while it was fully renovated and very neat and well appointed and still had great windows with a view, it had some odd elements ( for example, one room had an open toilet sink area that has stairs leading from it to a loft space, and a separate open shower area with no doors on either; and then another room opened into it and another small dark sitting area etc.) and felt a bit dingy. We mostly hung out in the gorgeous family room and master which had very uplifting energies. Location at end of the road made it very private which was fabulous, but I liked that there was one adjoining house to the right because it felt too isolated to me at night with the woods and dark lake - not used to such a setting. Marrowstone and Olympic area in general were more underdeveloped than we had realized, but they have their own untouched charm. Port Townsend nearby has a cool downtown to visit with lots of chic stores. Didn’t need the property manager; owner was great to communicate with and allowed us to check in 2 hrs early which was nice. All in all, we had a fabulous time and didn’t want to leave!

Peaceful Pleasure
What an amazing property! Second time we have stayed and this property does not disappoint! Beautiful, clean home and the property and views - simply stunning! We saw plenty of bald eagles, deer, sea lions - even a seemingly lost sea otter! It was magical and we cannot wait to go back! We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.

Excellent stay
This property is beautifully managed. Clean and well supplied with all amenities. A pleasure to visit with the deer who eat every afternoon, the sea lions on the rock , and the resident eagles who checked on us regularly.

Great spot for a get away to relax and reconnect
We had a wonderful time. The views are amazing, and the house is well set up for cooking and spending time together. The house is set up so the master suite is truly separate from the other two rooms - creating privacy. Great wildlife, and hours spent enjoying the deck and watching the ships!

Marrowstone Island retreat
Excellent rental process and communication. We were kept updated from the time we booked to the day of arrival at the property.
Speaking of the property, it was fantastic. Very beautiful home and location. Loved watching the deer and the eagles. Lots of different boats/ships pass right in front of the house.
Bottom line: you will not be disappointed if you choose this property.

Amazing views and a wonderful house
This house was a perfect place for our family to gather to renew after this difficult year. It was spacious and very comfortable and the views were incredible. We watched the boats go by on Puget Sound, enjoyed walking on the lovely property, seeing deer and eagles, and found it so peaceful. The house was very clean and well maintained, as well as well equipped. It was perfect for cooking together and we enjoyed family dinners around the large dining table. Just a perfect place to reconnect after more than a year apart.

Amazing view!
We appreciated the location as a jumping off point for two all day adventures in Olympic national park as well as port Townsend. We enjoyed our walk from East Beach to Fort Flagler as well as many hours of meals, games and visiting in the very pleasant house.

Beautiful setting and spotless
This property is just beautiful. The house faces east so if you are up early you can catch an unobstructed view of the sunrise. The house is comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. It’s well-equipped; the only thing we couldn’t find were cookie sheets/baking trays. The temperature was a bit of a challenge to regulate as part of the house does not have an adjustable thermostat. All of the TVs are mounted quite high, so it’s not super comfortable when watching, but we were outside most of the time so this was not a huge deal. Despite these small negative led, we were thoroughly pleased with our choice to stay here. The house is impeccably clean and is truly a gem.

Family Gathering
The house on Marrowstone Island was very nice. The living room and deck overlooked was appeared to be a favorite fishing hole for local boaters. The kitchen was well equipped, though it should probably needs to have a cookie sheet added to the inventory. Bedrooms were bright and airy. Based on photographs, we did bring a floor lamp so we could play board games in the evening. All-in-all a nice house. We will probably return.

Magical location
The reviews and description of this property were right on target. We were told about the sea lions and the eagles and sure enough even they showed up. The home is a very large home. It was just my other half and I so we didn't need to use a lot of the home, but the living area and master bedroom both had the same magical views.
Store and restaurants were near by and close enough to the sites we wanted to venture too. Unfortunate for us, it rained our entire time in Washington. We would love to come back and stay at this property in a sunnier period of time.
Definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful place
Beautiful home and location with a unique floor plan. The sights of the water and Whidbey Island are gorgeous. Plenty of room for the three of us couples to be together and/or alone if someone wanted to be.
There is not a light over the dining table and even with all the overhead lights on it was still too dark for us to play board games and we ended up buying a lamp and an extension cord.
The kitchen was not stocked with any aluminum foil, saran wrap or wax paper, nor are there any cookie sheets.

Great house in cool spot!
Awesome house in amazing location. Was in touch with the owners regarding some items needed, such as a oven pans, table lights etc., the owners were happy to receive the suggestions. House was still great even with missing some of the items mentioned to the owner. The only reason not receiving a 5 star rating has nothing to do with the house, but power was off for a full day (scheduled by electric company) and the neighbors next store are have construction done on the their house. The workers would start sawing and banging nails at 6:00 AM. I am sure that a future visit with no construction workers will easily be a 5 star trip. Great house. I hope to go back some day.
