Just wow, what a beautiful location and villa. Stayed for 5 nights and 6 days here. Room was so perfectly decorated, lots of spare blankets and pillows. Fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and full sized fridge. Loungeroom was cozy with the comfy couch and gas fire infront of the TV. The bed was 10/10 for comfort. And double headed shower and bath were lovely. And the views! First night we looked out the bedroom window to find a open field full of kangaroos and deer. It was so exciting to see. And the high wall to floor windows in the loungeroom/kitchen were spectacular.
Thankyou for a memorable stay!

Location was superb quiet yet very close to town. Native animals wandering around the property constantly were wonderful. Great facilities. Hosts were very courteous.

Everything about this accommodation was amazing. My wife and I had one of the best weekends away that we had in years. Communication from the hosts was outstanding, the venue was beautifully presented, and the location was perfect. We will definitely be back.

I really like how we can spot wildlife from our apartment, the super high ceilings, and the attention to detail that the host has (I.e. bathrobes, towels, washing machine, dryer, super comfy bed, clean apartment).

Great position as the view was spectacular, the bed was very comfortable. It was roomy and the shower was great. We also appreciated the washing machine and dryer and detergent provided
The gas heater wasn't working (there was an ac). We couldn't hear the TV _ volume couldn't be increased (a missing remote maybe?) The heater in the bathroom only worked on the first day on a timer so not when we needed it and it was cold!
However, we would have disregarded those glitches if the customer service had been better. Unfortunately, the host, Michael, was abrupt and quite rude. We were treated like annoying children whenever we enquired about an issue rather than paying guests

The place looked lovely and it had nice views
We booked this place mainly to have a cozy night in by the fire and to have a bath.. it's a romantic couples retreat. The gas fire was broken, in which the owners knew about prior to our arrival and they did not tell us. We spent over 40 minutes trying to get it working when we finally contacted them and they said that it was broken. Not only did we waste our holiday time on trying to get it started, we were failed to be notified and it wad one of the highlight features for us to stay at that accomodation. Initially the offered $50 back of $560 for 1 night (alot, so you'd expect everything to be functioning) due to this issue, I said that $100 would be more fair.. in which they never responded. I'm not happy with this outcome.

Good location, lots of kangaroos to look at, very comfy bed, nice and clean, good spa bath, and all amenities you could need.
The fireplace wasn't working (we're notified upon check in time), so the lounge area was a bit cold, even with the aircon going.
The pictures on the website (Aspect villas or booking.com) are of the second villa on the property 'Bushland', which evidently has much better views from the bath (not two gas bottles) and lounge. So some sneaky advertising here, and if we had of realised this, we would have booked that one.
Villa is smaller than I was expecting from the pictures, but it's a good size.
Some bubbles for the spa would have been good.

Location and views were fantastic. Comfortable villa, well laid out.
Provided breakfast supplies poor.
4 night stay - 1/2 loaf bread, minimal spreads etc Coffee only a 1cm in tin in fridge not enough to make 1 cup.

It was the most perfect tranquil get away away from the hustle & bustle of Geelong. Both of us work in Pharmacy & the past 2 years have been extremely challenging & tiring on a daily basis. This little piece of perfect paradise in the middle of the Grampians made our hearts sing! We enjoyed the serenity, the kangaroos & the cockatoos, it was just delightful. We will definitely will be coming back!

Waking up to the glow of the sunrise reflected off the mountain is an amazing way to start your day. Follow that with the provided breakfast as you watch the kangaroos feeding outside sets your mood for the rest of your stay.
We loved our stay at Ironstone. It was the perfect balance, providing a romantic remote escape in the Grampians but still only few hundred metres from the heart of Halls Gap.
The place is immaculately clean and very well laid out for comfort, romance and to make the most of that view. We will definitely be back again.

It was wonderful! Amazing views, kangaroos and emus everywhere, walking distance to everything. Will definitely be back again! Was so sad to be leaving
The only thing I didn’t like is that I couldn’t stay longer

The location is in walking distance of the Hall's Gap township but down a secluded dirt road with complete privacy and superb views.
The spa with the huge TV on a mobile arm allowed Netflix viewing from the tub. Ideal when it was 39 degrees outside, spa filled with cold water and a cold beer on hand!
