Family vacation with 7adults and 2 dogs- we were all very comfortable! Lovely house. Beautiful view. Worth getting up for the sunrise! Navigating the TV was difficult even for a technical family. Great stay!

The property was better than we expected! We enjoyed the beautiful morning sunrise each day and relaxing on the private beach. Close enough to explore local areas but secluded enough for a peaceful retreat. Home was fully stocked with tons of room for everyone. Would love to stay here again.

This is a beautiful, very clean, private house. It has everything you’d ever need for your stay. The fenced in yard was perfect, the beds were comfy, powerful showers, and sooo much space! The views were beautiful and peaceful. Plus it’s close to stores, hiking at Acadia, visiting Bar Harbor, and lots of yummy lobster near by! I hope if we ever get to come back to Maine, we can stay here again! We ALL loved it!!

Beautiful views and access to the water. Water shoes required due to rocks and some glass though! Yard was fenced in for the pup and the house was perfectly set up for our family - we rented a kayak which we all used and the drive to Acadia was a short 15 minutes - we loved it!

Beautiful house with large fenced in yard. Great for kids. Private beach was perfect. We swam every day. Acadia is minutes away. We saw three eagles flying over the property. Perfect Maine vacation!

This house was perfect for our family trip to Maine. Beautiful house and shoreline. We were close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor to get in and out without issue. The stars on a clear night were phenomenal. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We had amazing week in Maine, and loved our time at this home. Very comfortable house with all of the amenities, spectacular views, easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We rented kayaks from a nearby business and enjoyed time on the water, and also enjoyed hiking and biking in the national park.

Great property with amazing views and beach- about 20-30 minute drive to most highlights of Acadia. Location was great for a home base away from chaos of Bar Harbor. We stayed here with extended family and had plenty of room with 6 adults and 2 children and could have fit more. Beds were comfortable, very clean upon arrival. Host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. One thing to keep in mind is 3rd floor is not air conditioned and got very warm for us even in June- you can open the skylight window but we were limited due to a young child sleeping in the room, and could be quite hot for sleeping in middle of summer. The hot water also was limited for house this size, but we got around this by staggering our water use as much as possible. Very much enjoyed our stay otherwise!

My family of 3 stayed at this property with some friends of ours and their children. Kids ranging from 9 month - 6 years. The home was perfect! Very clean and tidy with a nice layout for multiple families. It was well stocked with kitchen necessities and actually went above and beyond in that department by providing sandwich bags, foil, garbage bags, etc. The whole house was stocked the same way with most anything you may need. The location was perfect with beautiful water views and beach access on a nice private lot. We were able to see much marine life at night ( crabs, lobsters, etc). The yard is fenced so that the kids can play safely. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in Trenton greatly! The home is beautiful, very clean and cozy. The views are amazing! Our family had a fantastic time kayaking from the property and also gazing at the stars and full moon in the evening. We highly recommend this home and hope to return again. Thank you for an amazing week!

The house was very spacious and clean, but even better were the views and outside space! Our kids loved the fenced in yard and walking down to the beach, and we enjoyed watching the stars while having s’mores by the fire pit! Everyone had plenty of room to play cards, do puzzles, and sleep comfortably inside, and it was a short drive to anything we wanted to do! Definitely recommend this property!

Just the loveliest setting for hanging out feeling the peace, enjoying the stars, relaxing after hiking all day, enjoying loved ones. Loved every minute.

This property is situated on a lovely bay, private rocky beach, and spectacular views. We had beautiful weather that created half our party to want to stay vs. hike or site see. We rented kayaks for the week from a local shop. Only 20-25 mins from Bar Harbor and Cadillac mountain, we could do half the day on the property and the rest out for the day. We saw a bald eagle, we had a humming bird visit every day, and of course the sounds of all the wild life and ocean was so calming. House was as advertised, accommodating with spread out bedrooms and baths.

It was close to stores, restaurants and Acadia National Park but remote enough for peace and quiet. I definitely would recommend this home.

We return to this property whenever we can. The home is beautiful, clean (no clutter), has comfortable beds, and a perfect location! We love the close proximity to Bar Harbor/Acadia and Ellsworth. There is always something to do in town or you can just relax on the deck and listen to the waves with a glass of wine. We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed every second we spent at this house and the location was perfect. It was quiet yet still close to Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Communication with the owners was excellent and we had everything that we needed for a week's stay.

Wow - we absolutely loved everything. The home is a beautiful post and beam- very cozy and comfortable. Everything you need is there. Most importantly the views are incredible from inside the hpuse to outside. We were so fortunate with beautiful weather- and my family is making plans for a trip in season! Thank you Daria for sharing your home and being a top notch host,!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The house had everything we needed for a week away and our pup loved the fenced in backyard, with space to roam and play. It was a great location - short drive to the park for hiking each day. The house had great views to wake up to or close out the night. Really great place to stay!
10.0 / 10.0
The overall look of the house was great, but the lighting arrangement was a bit awkward. Plenty of windows to see the view of the water which is why we wanted to stay here.

The location, water views and beachcombing are really top notch here. The home is dated, but well kept and clean. We would definitely return!

Extremely clean, comfortable home with beautiful private shore. We usually stay on MDI, but found the location of this home more convenient than most place on MDI to our favorite hikes, restaurants, etc. Recommend.

Beautiful home & location
10.0 / 10.0
The house and property were perfect. The house was exactly as advertised, clean and well equipped and the property was exactly what we needed for our young children and 2 elderly dogs. The access to the beach (in a relatively calm cove, which was a plus) was very easy for all of us - age ranged from 1 to 75. The location was also very easy to all of the offerings on Mt. Dessert Island.
10.0 / 10.0
We absolutely loved this place. Everything is decorated simply but beautifully, with incredible views out many windows. We loved the fenced-in yard, the waterfront, the huge deck area with seating, etc. It worked great for our extended family of 9 plus dog. We enjoyed being in a quieter area but easy access to Acadia and MDI. Make sure to keep the blinds closed during the day so it doesn't get too warm indoors. A few items need updating in the welcome book, but Daria was very responsive to inquiries.

We rented this home 7 years ago and were excited to be able to come back this year. The home is well situated to Bar Harbor and Mt. Desert Island. Our communication with the owner was always timely. The house is as described in the pictures. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful vacation!

Sunrise and Mountain View’s
This is our 2nd stay. It was wonderful location with privacy yet close enough for a short drive to bar harbor and Acadia.
The house was very clean and the fenced in yard was great for the littles.

Lovely, quiet, pet-friendly shore escape!
The layout of the house was perfect for our family of 8 plus 2 dogs. We rented kayaks which were delivered to the house upon our arrival and were picked up on the day of our departure. The deck was our favorite gathering spot. It took about 30 minutes to get to Acadia and the little harbor towns on MDI. Daria was very responsive if we needed her and the caretaker was fantastic as well. We would definitely recommend & return!

Perfect Getaway
We took our kids and grandkids on a hiking/biking/tide pool-exploring week in Maine. This house was perfect. Lots of space to spread out, well-equipped kitchen, fenced yard, and proximity to Acadia were all big pluses for us.
Owners were fantastic. Lots of well-organized information, and yet still a laid-back friendly vibe to all the interactions.
We all agreed that the house is actually nicer than it looks in the listing! The only warning is the lack of air conditioning on the third floor (which they tell you about!). That does make the whole house run a bit warm, but fans running and open windows at night made it comfortable.
I don’t know if we’ll make the 20-hour drive to Trenton again, but if we do I would love to stay here again :)

Great Location and great views!
The property is in a great location with very quick and easy access to Mount Desert Island which is one of the reasons we picked it. The owners were great to deal with and very prompt with responses. The views from the house are beautiful. The house itself was comfortable, and by far the cosiest room was the master bedroom which is huge and had great views of the bay. The deck is great with lots of seating space to eat and/or just relax. We did have one or two cold evenings in the 40's and the max heat temperature is set to 72 degrees. There is a wood burning stove but guests are not allowed to use it. It looks like it has not been used for many years. Internet connection was very good. Lovely house and great location to explore Acadia and the surrounding area.

Awesome vacation! Perfect cottage!
The cottage was perfect for our needs. Though we only had 5 adults, less than anticipated, there was more than enough room if others came with us. Plenty of sleeping and eating spaces and space to be alone. Never tire of the 4:30 am sunrise wake up or sitting on the shore watching the water. Beautiful views of the shore from the cottage. Short drives to anywhere on Mt. Desert Island. Owners responsive and kind. Very very happy with our first trip to Maine. Thank you Daria & Scott for helping to make our vacation wonderful!

Gem on the Water
A few friends and I enjoyed a wonderful week in the Acadia area, not the least of which was our stay at this property, which was right on the water and allowed for easy kayaking. The open layout of the main level of the house was very nice, and the variety of sitting areas (inside and out) were great for folks gathering for meals, games, etc. The fully fenced in yard was also great for a dog that loves to run and chase balls. We also enjoyed the large deck every morning for breakfast, as well as the fire pit in the large side yard a couple times. The kitchen had everything we needed, including to cook a couple dinners. Ms. Duda was very responsive and accommodating. Overall, just an ideal property.

Loved Acadia!
The house was clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of seven adults. The view of the bay was awesome! We spent most of our time hiking in Acadia, which we loved and highly recommend, and then enjoyed our evenings in this nice house.

Great 2 weeks
The house and property are exactly as shown in pictures. It is very clean, lots of kitchen equipment, comfortable seating. It is a 20 -30 minute easy drive to Acadia, Bar Harbor. We had great weather the whole 2 weeks so used the deck almost every day.
We hiked, biked and walked the carriage trails which does have some hills. Also biked on Schoodic Peninsula. The best part of this property is the spectacular sun and moon rises over the bay. We happened to luck out and had a harvest moon one night. We did drive up to Cadillac mountain during the day, a trip not to be missed.
