About this apartment hotel

The room is located just 3 short blocks from downtown Beaufort, full of shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. The room itself is inside of a small Eco-friendly hotel. There are two covered porches on the property, as well as a covered garage on the ground floor. For those of our guests who elect to bring a pet, we have a grassy area at the back of the hotel with a doggie bag/waste station. We do have a pet fee of $30 a night plus tax.

It is one large room with a queen bed as well as a full sized sleeper sofa. It does have a full private bathroom, with a tub and shower combo. The kitchenette has a dishwasher and a two top stove with enough dishes and silverware for four people.

Check in is at 2 pm and check out is at 10 am. Discovery diving is open from 8 am to 9 pm. If you will be arriving later, please let us know, so we can make arrangements for you.

We hope you enjoy your stay!

Place was convenient to everything downtown, never had to get in the car. Room was clean and the hosts were great to deal with in the checkin/out process.

We are an older couple who stayed here for 1 night on our way up the coast. Beaufort was the perfect stop between Savannah and the Outer Banks. We were traveling with my 5lb service dog, but I do not appreciate having to share my medical history with strangers, so as I usually do we payed an extra $30 to stay in a dog friendly room, specifically #101. As others have said, the kitchen area has a musty odor. We kept the slider opened for fresh air. The unit has a standard queen size bed plus a small kitchen and seating area. This unit overlooks the house next door, where someone periodically smoked outside. It all could use refreshing, but it was adequate. Thd steps up to the unit are steep and not well lit. There was some confusion re: the checkin process which happens at a local dive shop. The young man at the counter was a dive specialist, not a specialist on the hotel which caused confusion and complication. Part of the process was them taking a pic of my credit card & license. I was not super happy to have this delicate info being placed into a stack of papers on the desk esp by someone obviously not employed by the hotel. In the end they allowed me to rip off the sensitive info. VRBO took my info and I prepaid so why do I have to give it again? The kid forgot our parking pass so we had to go back to the shop. Next door is a busy vape shop with an impressive assortment of bongs & interesting clientele. Beaufort is a sweet fun little town, but maybe stay elsewhere.

The photos on the listing don't do this place justice. The room was clean and comfortable and only a few other folks were staying there so it was very quiet. I could see how in peak summer the 15 or so parking spaces might be an issue but it wasn't for me. It was raining when I arrived so having a covered space to unload was a blessing. Also, Google took me to the diving shop's "west lodge" next to the suites and not the actual shop where you check in (it is just down the gravel road on Orange past the suites). With super cold and windy weather and some other difficulties that arose during my time in Beaufort, staying here made a difference in my whole experience.

We parked the car and walked everywhere, sat on the covered patio and had a relaxing time. The place is in a great part of town, close to restaurants and the water front

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was the perfect size for the four of us for a weekend. The convenience to downtown and the waterfront was great. Thank you for a great 2 nights in Beaufort.
