Aurora Dome is really nice and extraordinary. Unfortunately it was raining and our dome was the one farthest in the wood. We had to walk to the toilet in the rain. It's just the weather, so it's not a reason for bad marks. We were satisfied with the stay, but...we would kill all the mosquitoes 😂

Nice surroundings. Bathroom/"spa" facilities were nicer than expected. Simple but fair breakfast.
We stayed in the larger of the two dome-tents. It was not very clean (and stuff from previous guests was found under the bed) and some of the furniture was broken. I do not care too much about stuff like that - but since their tents are pricy, I expected more. Very noise at night due to the dogs.

Great outside the city very calm
We book the aurora view cabin, and the root was covered in snow, which means we couldn't see through the roof as sold on their announce. We were told it's unfortunate there is snow on the roof, but that should be cleaned up before the guests are arriving, otherwise during the full winter it must be unusable

Great and unique stay! Neither my girlfriend nor I are much into camping but this was a great way to do a bit of "glamping" in the arctic circle. The dome overall was nice and spacious and generally what I was expecting. The heaters worked fantastically and kept the dome warm throughout the night and the large window and ceiling allowed for some wonderful views during both daytime and night time. There are also fun amenities at the lodge (doglsedding which can be booked separately, spa that can be reserved, etc). Staff was also extremely friendly and helpful getting everything sorted when we arrived.
We really only had a couple minor items that we would have liked to see. The first is that the beds were set up expecting extremely cold weather (2 sleeping bags and 2 personal blankets). Since the heaters were doing a great job keeping the dome warm, we would have hoped for the bed to be set up more in a traditional way or at least with a single queen/king size blanket that would cover the entire bed. The second is that there weren't keys to lock the door. While the staff and area made us feel quite safe without locking the door, we both come from areas where someone would never leave their door unlocked especially overnight and fashioned a makeshift way to keep the door "locked" from inside. If you're used to camping or come from a community where having the door unlocked then this won't be an issue for you.

The dome is super beautiful and comfortable. Lovely to just stare at the stars, forest and aurora (if you are lucky!).
Bathrooms are shared with other rooms. Always clean, but busy at times.

I absolutely loved the stay in the aurora dome. It was so cozy, I felt like I could live there forever. The temperature was perfect, the beds comfy, the sauna and hot tub were great.
It would have been great if the bathroom was closer, but it was absolutely not a deterrent. We were lucky that it was fairly warm out, but it would have been a less fun journey in the dark when it's extremely cold out.

We did the dog sledge tour and it was really amazing ! The guides were nice and the organization was really nice.
But we came back few days after to stay for 1 night in the “aurora dome”… and that was a totally different story !
The price is very very expensive for just a tant with no toilet, no bathroom and just a view.
The check-in was done in 2mn. As soon as we have payed everyone disappeared and we didn’t get a chance to have any explanation on the room, the heaters, the bathrooms, toilets,…
The shared spaces are way too small for the number of guests (only 1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms with toilets inside for all guests).
This is a good place for activities but definitely not for staying !

Amazing views, really friendly staff and great hot tub and sauna area. We saw the aurora both nights from both inside and outside the dome.
The dome is situated a couple of minutes walk from a communal bathroom which is a little annoying but it’s all part of the experience! You can hear the dogs through the night but that’s also to be expected!

I loved the location
The stuff is unfriendly, the breakfast is very poor and the room was a bit cold. it doesn’t worth the price.

This was a truly unforgettable experience! The staff were friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The dog sled and snowmobile tour were amazing and very reasonably priced for the area. They also provided cold weather gear that kept us warm the entire trip. Highly recommend this accommodation!

We stayed in the Aurora Dome and it was beautiful. Loved that it was on the site of the husky lodge, very special. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us. the spa area was lovely and recommend to book this.Book your dogsled tour from here too, that was amazing! breakfast was nice and everything clean. if you stay in the domes, use the toilets and shower in the spa area, much nicer than the one at reception.
we loved everything so these are more tips if you stay there-
-They have earplugs at reception, take some as the huskies can get excited when it’s feeding time and sled time and bark.
-There’s no toilet in the domes, just to note.
-Be careful about putting your bags near the gas heater, our bag and coats melted so keep your things well away from it.
-Double check the temperature of the spa/jacuzzi a couple hours before your time slot as ours had been turn down so we had to wait for it to reheat.

A one off once in a lifetime experience was the reason I booked this accommodation- and price. Cheaper than Finland! The experience was fabulous- I really enjoyed every minute. Although not actually meeting the staff they were very helpful on text throughout and came to pick me up from train station as google maps has not updated routes and the new road gives a 15 minute walk not an hour- I didn't know this until in the car! bed was very comfy with loads of blankets supplied. It is obviously cold but the little fire heated was a great touch and I kept it on the whole time. Sauna and jacuzzi were amazing to be outside in bitter temperatures with hair freezing was quite amazing! The huskies were beautiful and lucky for me they slept well that night- hardly any noise or howling :) I wasn't lucky enough to see the northern lights on my stay but I had a full moon and could see the stars and it was beautiful.
Yes toilets are a walk from dome but it adds to the experience and when you're there you will see why a toilet block would just completely ruin the beauty of why you're there in the first place! Worth pointing out though that even if the lights were out during the night of this stay there is a huge ski slope at the rear of the property in the distance but the lights are so strong it pollutes the sky's darkness.

very private which was great, very cosy inside and super warm considering it was minus 20 outside! there’s a little sauna and outdoor hot tub which we used and enjoyed, and breakfast was toast, eggs and cheeses. staff were friendly and took us into town to get food as there’s nowhere to go nearby. also we loved the dogs, was so great to play with the husky puppies!
it was a shame to not have any water at all, we had to trudge out in the snow to the main house to fill up a thermos, not ideal when it’s freezing outside! it was snowing so didn’t see the lights (obviously no one’s fault!) but do think it’s quite expensive for what it is. nothing around at all so have to get a taxi into town for food, or bring some with you in advance.

Really hard to find. Please update the map with Google or at least send instructions with map on the day of check-in

The hot tub was fantastic and we played Christmas music and drank prosecco while watching the huskys playing. We had a magical time over the two nights and would love love love to come again.
