About this cabin rental

Helen, Ga 3 Story, real log home sitting on 2 1/2 acres in a private wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy full comforts with all amenities. We are "pet friendly" and located seven minutes from downtown Helen. Enjoy seeing deer walk in early morning while having your cup of coffee on one of the two decks or a late night soak in the hot tub located on the second story deck. We have two bedrooms with queen sized beds and a very comfortable sofa.

The Cowboys and Angels restaurant is located in Helen and great for dinner, while Wendell’s is great for breakfast couple min away. You are 12 Minutes to Unincoi State Park. Enjoy; wine tasting, trout fishing, horseback riding, gem and gold mining, authentic German cuisine, carriage rides, shopping, sightseeing and hiking all in a beautiful Bavarian atmosphere.

Julyia, our host, was wonderful & helped us navigate through some issues we had. Her cabin was in a neighborhood, yet it felt very private. She thought of everything, including treats for the fur baby. Everything was spotless, which made the stay even nicer. We especially loved the hot tub! Such a relaxing place to unwind.

Nice and cozy. The bed in the master a little too soft. Would love a tv in the second bedroom. The pool table is small and balls rolling on their own at times. Overall we love the experience and would definitely consider staying there again and recommending it to others.

Even with winter, there were only a couple of houses within sight - so in warmer months, it'll feel even more private. Host was excellent with communication, and I appreciate how the cabin is thoughtfully stocked and decorated. It's not over-decorated and stuffed with too much stuff, but everything has just the right amount of seating, bed size, etc. so it works well. Location is excellent. Literally drove to some of our favorite wineries and hiking in less than 10 minutes. This is now on our favorites list!

We really enjoyed this cozy getaway by Helen! The cabin was super clean and stocked with necessities, which is a treat with rentals. The drive up to the cabin was easy and so close to downtown Helen. The host was very kind and responsive to communication before and during our trip. We will be back!

The cabin was perfect for our group. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hot tub was great. We loved that this was a large pet friendly location, as those are often hard to come by. The drive to town was quick and easy. We would stay here again.

My wife and I loved this little cabin for our 15th anniversary getaway. It was seriously the cleanest rental cabin we’ve ever stayed in (out of maybe 15 over the years). The hot tub was immaculate. Our little Boston Terrier loved the treats left for him in the doggy welcome basket. With it only being 10 minutes or less from Helen and Cleveland, we could come and go easily and where still in a very private, romantic setting. There’s a couple of cabins through the woods, but nothing too close. It may get a little less private once the trees have shed there leaves, but I still don’t believe it would take away from the experience. We love the place and plan to return as soon as we can.

What a great weekend! The home is in the mountains and a short drive into the town of Helen. We enjoyed the hot tub and the coziness of the home. The most impressive part was how incredibly clean this property is kept. We are always hesitant of dog-friendly places, but this one was amazing. They even have a little basket for the puppies to enjoy! The host was extremely easy to communicate with and made sure we checked in easily. We would love to come back to this location.

We have stayed in many cabins throughout North Alabama to the Smokey Mountains. This cabin is absolutely one of our favorites! It was immaculate, which if you’ve stayed in the woods much you know it can be hard to do. So many personal touches throughout such as quality paper towels, dish soaps, toilet paper, etc. and a good supply. Makes a big difference when the owner steps up and doesn’t use the cheapo stuff. I can’t say enough about how clean and fresh smelling everything was. The furniture in the living room felt brand new. I almost passed this cabin up bc what was in the pictures did not look comfy. It must’ve been recently replaced. Beds were comfy and the hot tub was one of the best we’ve ever used. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday.

Everything here was perfect. My wife and I both agreed we'd come back and stay here again one day. I'll agree with others the driveway is sketchy but easily handled by backing in. We had a glitch where VRBO did not send the email with instructions and the host promptly answered the door bell camera to help us get inside when it was after 10pm. We were extremely grateful.

Cute, efficient cabin - just as it was described. Very clean & well-maintained. Excellent location: Remote & private but10 min drive from downtown Helen. Overlooks lovely, wooded ravine, with only 2 other homes visible & not close. Everything worked properly. Comfortable for the 3 of us plus medium dog & large dog; would be splendid for 4, but tight for 5 or 6. Nice spacious hot tub easy to use on back porch with great view. Both beds are comfortable but not queen (only full, which can be tight for 2); I used foldout sofa 1 night to give room so wife could have more room on bed. Functional kitchen, very well maintained. Not luxurious . But houghtfully furnished and lots of towels, blankets, sundries, etc.

We really enjoyed this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was just a short drive to Helen but far enough away to feel secluded. My only gripe, if you call it that, was the parking was really tight for my pick up truck. I had to do a 6 point turn to turn around and would only back into the driveway in daylight hours. Definitely need some sort of level turn around area.

Highly recommend this cabin. Our family had so much fun. The absolute best time ever! Its clean and well maintained. The property manager is kind and on point with everything especially communication for anything you may need. Iur kids had a blast in the hot tub and game area downstairs. Highly reccomended! Our stay was very relaxing. The property was clean, and well stocked, and maintained. Directions were easy to get to. We enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the porch watching the the deer. The driveway was a little difficult to manuever with a large vehicle. We will definetly be back. Thank you for a great getaway.

Had an amazing time staying at the cabin with family (in town for a wedding). Such a cozy place. Location was more than ideal. Close enough to town, but out of the hustle and bustle of the Helen tourist scene for the start of Octoberfest. Would certainly stay here again. I stayed here with my girlfriend and two dogs for a week. We come to this area once or twice a year and would stay here again for what we paid. It was everything we needed. The property itself is not ideal since it is on an extreme incline. Our dogs used the woods for their needs but there is really no use of the property except where it’s paved. The cabin is clean and has everything you need. The view from the large, covered porch is nice. The best part for us was the vicinity to Helen. The driveway is tricky because you have to spin your vehicle around to get out. I have a large truck so I think this would be much easier with a normal size car. Overall, we enjoyed this place. The property manager was very responsive to our check in questions when we arrived.
