Beautiful newer home located just 2 blocks from the boardwalk in family friendly Carolina beach. All newer furniture which includes a queen bed in the master bedroom. A full size bed in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms and a living room that has a full size sleeper sofa with 60" 4K television. Home is immaculate and cozy! New for the summer of 2020, 43” 4K Smart TVs have been added to bedrooms 2 & 3.

This property is REALLY nice and well taken care off. The furnishings are modern, comfortable, and more than adequate. We had 6 adults and 2 teens and there was plenty of room to spare. Having 2 full and 1 half bath was a real benefit. The location is very close to the beach, local resturants, board walk and other entertaining things to do. Walmart and other chain stores are only 15 minutes away. The owners are super friendly and respond quickly to any correspondence. Carolina Beach is a great beach town that we will definitly be coming back. When we do we will try and rebook this property first.

We really enjoyed staying here with our 2 children. It was also in the perfect location close to everything, not far from the beach, and we were able to see the Thursday night fireworks from the porch. The owners were easy to communicate with throughout the process. It was very clean and a comfortable stay in general with plenty of room. I will definitely recommend this house to others.

Incredible Location... The house is dead center of the best food and bars in the area! And we really enjoyed our stay... My only suggestion: You REALY need to upgrade all 3 beds to Queen size (the rooms are big enough) as two of our couples had not so good sleep experiences. This factor is the only thing keeping your place from perfection!

This was a beautiful home, perfect location to easily walk to everything!! Would definitely stay here again. Owner was responsive. Only feedback/good for others to know would be it would be good to know in advance additional toilet paper and trash bags are not included. Once they ran out (which is easy and quick with a family) there’s no spare in the house. So we had to go out and buy more. Just like the notice of linens and towels not being included, this would’ve been good to know ahead of time to plan better. I’ve stayed at countless VRBO homes and this was a first! Other than that, a perfect stay. Thank you!

We were very impressed by this property. Well maintained and very clean. We had a great time there. All the necessities were there and it was a truly quiet place with a short walk to Boardwalk and Beach. It is also close to Dining and Ice Cream. We will definately return.

Turtle Cove was perfect for our family's first visit to Carolina Beach! It was walking distance to the beach, Boardwalk, and restaurants. Just a short drive to the grocery store. The house was clean and spacious. Kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials. We were extremely delighted!

The property was great- there was plenty of room for the seven of us and it was very clean. The owner communicated well and answered all of my questions. It was not a bad walk at all to the beach and boardwalk. We weren't aware from the listing that there was another unit on the back of this one but there was no noise or disruption so it didn't end up being an issue for us at all. I would definitely recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again.

This was overall a wonderful experience. The home was beautiful and spacious. The decor was perfect for a beach house. The boardwalk is three blocks from the house and the kids enjoyed watching the ferris wheel after dark. The owners were very kind and informative and gave us full instruction of the expectations both during our stay as well as upon check out. This was overall a wonderful experience and a very enjoyable weekend. Thank you!

The location of the beach was amazing. You can walk to all the places you need to go to. The beach is a 4 min walk or less. The decor of the house was very fitting of the beach theme. I felt safe at the location. The property manager was a blessing to me and my family.

Helicopter Owners and Lack of Living Supplies

The property itself is in good shape with fair location relative to the beach. We came with a group of guys to visit a family of a close friend who passed away days earlier. We did not act with excess to normal activity of a group. We had a few temporary guests, to include the family of the friend who had passed away just days earlier, who brought a small, hypoallergenic dog for the few hours they were there. The AC was said by the owner to be overheating although they are running a beach house which in its nature is in hot weather for most of its rental use. We had a couple extra guests join the visit to the family of our friend the day before the trip and they slept on an air mattress that we brought. In no way was the furniture or space misused to accommodate the extra two people we brought. The biggest red flag you should be aware of is the fact that they have multiple cameras around the property and the owners have no problem inconveniencing their guests at any point with things they have seen on the camera they think are not exactly within their expectations no matter the severity of such things like having an extra couple people sleep on an air mattress in the living room, having a few people stop by for a visit with their 5-lb hypoallergenic dog, leaving the beach at the drop of a hat to accommodate a request which is not placing their property in imminent danger, and their AC overheating when its placed at a temperature not far from the external temperature of the house. The frequency of their calls and texts suggest they spent their entire weekend watching video footage stressing about their property, when in actuality, their property was left in a similar state to which it was used aside from normal use. Let it be known, in addition to the strangeness of not having linens for the beds in a house that is listed to sleep 8, there are practically no other supplies you would find helpful to have when renting the house for the weekend such as wash soaps, proper cookware, cleaning supplies, and other various things you might want in a kitchen or bathroom of a place you rent. Not to mention, the lack of linens give reason to believe they likely never wash the comforters or decorative pillowcases they do provide. If you want to have a worry free stay and enjoy your vacation at Carolina Beach, I would suggest not staying with these renters.

The listing is very accurate. It is a great location two blocks to the boardwalk. We were able to walk to the local bars and resturants. The only down fall we experienced is the rules are enforced by camera and year round islanders. I have rented more than 15 homes at Carolina Beach and have never had any complaints. The owners were very understanding to our situations but did threaten a police escort and seemed to be constantly monitoring the camera. They communicated very well with us when they did have an issue. They were kind and understanding to the reason we were at the beach.

Beautiful home and great location. The only discrepancy or confusion was that the listing said the house was two blocks from the boardwalk, and that may be so but that is also about .5 miles. Not a problem though. Amazing home and great location. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
