About this house rental
Enjoy the perfect combination of CO cabin and luxury accommodations. The lot has 110 feet of gold metal fly-fishing on the Blue River and its just minutes to your favorite ski resorts. This recently renovated cabin is located in Silverthorne about 5 miles from I 70. You can white water raft, hike, walk, and kayak in the summer. The Summit County Bike Path crosses the backyard for access to miles of biking and walking. In winter you can ski/board, tube, snow mobile and sleigh ride. There are restaurants and outlet malls within walking distance. Everything that Summit County has to offer is right at hand, but when your home you feel like you are miles away from it all. The cabin has beautiful views of the mountains off the brand new deck where you can jump in the jetted hot hub with 8 of your close friends or family to enjoy the sound of the river. There is a two-car garage to keep your car warm in the winter so you can drive 10 minutes to Keystone or Copper Mountain, 15 minutes to Arapaho, Breckenridge or Loveland and 25 minutes to Vail. The furnishing is high quality, with a stone fireplace and sectional couch in the living room to watch DirectTV or DVDs on the 55 inch TV. There is wifi throughout the cabin. The upstairs is all knotty pine with ceramic tiled floors connecting the half bath, dinning room and completely modern kitchen featuring granite counter tops, a flat cook top, microwave and stove to the outdoor grill. The dining room can comfortably seat 10 people to enjoy your home cooking. There is a new addition with mudroom and billiards room with pool table. The downstairs master bedroom has a king bed and HD flat screen plus a double shower and heated floors in the master bath. There are queen beds in the other two bedrooms with plenty of closet space for all. Please note that we rent Saturday to Saturday.

Place was roomy, sparkling clean and well equipped. It’s an upside down house - since it’s on a hillside above the river, the living area is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. The deck and hot tub were wonderful. We rent a lot of places on VRBO - this was one of the best.

Stayed two weeks centrally located to everything we wanted to do on the motorcycles. We took in shows at red rock and mile high. Extremely clean, beautiful inside and out. Amazing hot tub with great view of the river and mountains. I would highly recommend staying here, the owner Joanne was a dream to work with and plan. Dealt with any issues immediately fantastic service. We will definitely be back

Spectacular home away from home!
We will definitely return for our next summer trip to enjoy the mountains.
The home was so well maintained and stocked with incidentals that we truly felt like we never left home.
We stay at VRBO properties often and when cooking and prepping meals, we often find ‘something’ missing by way of dishes/pans/utensils, etc. Not this time! Everything down to parchment paper which was used to baking fresh biscuits.
The space for 6 of us, was perfect. Plenty of seating in the kitchen and living room. The deck to enjoy our morning coffee and evening cocktails was an added bonus.
This has truly been our best VRBO experience, which is saying a lot due to how many we’ve stayed in thru the years.

This place was so central to everything we did!!! WONDERFUL park right down the road for sledding. Overall, we had a marvelous time and loved the house. Back deck views are wonderful.

The house was very comfortable. Matched the description on the listing. We loved having access to the river right behind the property and it was an easy walk into silverthorne. We loved using the hot tub at night and took day trips for hiking and fishing around the different mountain areas.

The sound of the river was so peaceful and relaxing. The location of the house was close to everything. The driveway was much shorter than how it appeared in the pictures.

Very nice house right on the river. It was great to relax in the hot tub after skiing and listen to the water flowing down the river. The house is very comfortable and even stocked with a wide variety of spices! The owner is very prompt with communications. I would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion
The home was one of several in Silverthorne rented for a family reunion. The location was perfect for drop-ins of other family members on the way to coffee and for card-playing. Two guests had to work some during the week and the deck was their favorite spot to work.

Heaven by the Blue River
This is a very nice house in a quiet neighborhood right on the Blue River. The babbling brook is so nice to hear every morning. The walking trail/bike trail just below is very nice too.
I would definitely return.

Beautiful property just like pictures
We absolutely loved this home. We really enjoyed the open layout, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Owners responded quickly to all questions. The property is well appointed and beautifully decorated. We skied for 2 weeks and enjoyed all the amenities.

Well kept home with great amenities. Nice view from the deck, hot tub and pool table were great. This home is in a convenient location to many ski resorts. It was a perfect winter skiing vacation home for a family with teenagers.

Wonderful experience!
This property was absolutely amazing! We got all the information that was needed before and getting into the house was super easy. The house was stocked with so much more than most others I have seen. Also so easy with grocery stores or anything that you need within a few minute drive. We skied keystone, vail and Breckenridge and all were an easy drive. Great property, would definitely stay again!

Made our honeymoon perfect
We’re from NC and wanted a romantic cabin getaway with great snowy views, but we got so much more! The views around the cabin are breathtaking and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The hot tub was so relaxing and the games/pool table were so nice to have available to us. The host was so nice and very quick to respond, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Definitely recommend!

Nine day December Ski trip
Unfortunately the trip started off with the house not being cleaned due to a miscommunication with the owners and cleaning crew. JoAnne and Mark were very responsive and had someone over the next morning since the cleaning crew could not immediately get over that evening due to bad weather. JoAnne was very sorry and offered to put us up in a hotel that night and compensate us for the issue. We've stayed here many times and have always enjoyed the home and the area. Very convenient location. Will be back again.

Christmas week in paradise.
Christmas week in paradise. We love the accommodations specifically the hot tub and parking garage are nice benefits. The home is beautiful and the setting and scenery is spectacular. The inside accommodations were very nice, only comment would be that the lighting inside was a little insufficient. Otherwise everything was terrific!

Convenient to town but not secluded.
Enjoyed the fireplace and pool table but didn’t feel comfortable using the hot tub in view of neighbors on both sides. Disappointed to discover no AC during very warm days but it was tolerable since it cooled down in the evenings. Also disappointed to discover all bedrooms were in the basement—didn’t realize there were so many steps in the house but overall it was a great spot to rest which is what we wanted,

Lovely Stay at the Blue River Cabin
Blue River Cabin was perfect for our family. Silverthorne is a great location and the cabin was right on the Trail. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the river from the deck every night. We explored Breckenridge, Frisco, Vail and the area around Dillion.
JoAnne was very responsive with to all my questions and responded quickly. We would highly recommend the Blue River Cabin.

Wonderful Vacation Home!
We have rented many properties from VRBO and this was one of the nicest. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to make cooking so much easier. The deck is so nice- we ate on it almost every night- we couldn’t find a restaurant with a better view, sound of the river or atmosphere.
The hot tub was very appreciated at the end of a busy day and we also enjoyed many games of pool in the evenings.
My husband and I did have to work some during the week and the internet was completely reliable and we had no connection problems which makes working remote a good choice at this lovely property.
Having the recreation path at the house was such a treat- We walked to the shops and took strolls every night.
Even though Silverthorne is a busy area, the house is away from the hustle and it is easy to relax here.
From this location, we explored all the summer activities at different ski areas including, Beaver Creek, Vail, Copper, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe and Winter Park. We went to a Gold Mine and rented a Jeep to go off roading.
There is so much to do in the area and we would not hesitate to return to this house. Thank you to Joanne!

Family Vacation
The house was perfect. JoAnne was nice enough to let us check in early so we could make a concert at Red Rocks that evening. The location is great. It’s within walking distance to town and only 15 minutes from Frisco and Breckinridge.
We spent a lot of time hiking so we loved coming home to soak in the hot tub while the kids played pool. I used the grill a lot and we had everything we needed to prepare meals. The grocery store was only a 5 minute drive if we needed anything.
The property was beautiful. We sat on the deck and had coffee every morning with a fantastic view of the Rockies while listening to the sounds of the Blue River.
We will definitely be back.

Fantastic place to stay.
Situated on a beautiful lot that has a trout stream right out the back door and located conveniently near shops and restaurants. We were here for a week of skiing and were less than 30 minutes for 6 different ski areas. The home itself is clean and comfortable and spacious. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. Owners are very pleasant and respond to all inquiries quickly. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in the summit area.

Best Rental in the Colorado Rockies
This rental is nothing short of amazing. The house itself is very cleverly put together. Heater in every room, BBQ right next to door leading outside, great hot tub, AMAZING deck with weather/sun shade, etc. Besides the house, the owners are also great. We had a small plumbing issue arise that was quickly taken care of with no fuss. Seriously, if you are looking to stay in the Rockies in Colorado, look no further. It seems to me that the folks who built and own this house put a lot of time, effort, and money into making it great. Now is your chance to experience it.

Fantastic Stay
The property was exactly as shown. The central location lends itself perfectly for day trips to Buena Vista, Estes Park, Vail and Arapahoe Basin. The pool table and hot tub are great for evenings at home and provided entertainment for the college-age family members. I would recommend this home without hesitation.
