I highly recommend this property. Rebecca is a fantastic host. The view is amazing. It is close to old-town - but +/- 355 steps. Rebecca reserved a parking space for us, which was wonderful (streets are narrow - leaving the car in place with zero concern was a big upside for us).

wonderful!

This is a lovely apartment; clean, spacious, comfortable, well equipped with a great outside area. Rebecca is an outstanding host going above expectations. She went shopping for us as we were arriving on Easter Sunday and the shops were all closed. We arrived to a warm welcome and our food in the fridge! This was such a lovely gesture which we really appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Rebecca was an outstanding host. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the patio overlooking the old town and took in the sunset every evening. You can walk to everything as it is all close by. It does require climbing steps but it’s worth it for the view from your patio. Spacious house with everything you need! Would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again:)

This property is wonderful and the hosts were just as amazing!

Terrific apartment - great location, nicely furnished with a super terrace.

Previous reviews of this property are totally accurate. It’s a great well equipped apartment with a large terrace, stunning views and an incredibly helpful and attentive owner. As we were a group of older women with dodgy knees and hips :) we we were a bit worried how we would cope with getting to the Old Town. However, we found an easy zigzag stroll downhill avoiding all steps and took Ubers back uphill (less than 5 Euros for pickup opposite the taxi rank at the Ploce Gate).

We had an amazing time in Dubrovnik. The apartment was in an excellent location and Rebecca was so helpful! She organised our airport transfers and gave us lots of great info about Dubrovnik , would definitely recommend !

We loved this property, especially the lovely patio with a view of Lokrum Island and Dubrovnik. The view is partially blocked, but still amazing. There was plenty of room in the apartment for our group of 2 couples, with comfortable beds and great amenities. The walk to town was easy, but as others have mentioned, climbing the stairs home after a long day was a bit daunting. We walked up the street a few times, and that was less strenuous and the views were nice. Rebecca was a wonderful host, providing excellent communication, helpful information, and great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

The quiet neighborhood, the view of the Adriatic, the walking distance to the old city, the amenities, the hostess, all made for a perfect apartment to rent.
4.8
Enjoyed our stay. Had planned for 4 adults had 2 last minute add ons and we could fit them in. A good value for money Rebecca was FABULOUS and helped with our every need. Can walk to old town but not back if you are older like our group with back hip and knee issues.

The apartment is roomy. No TV but who needs that in Dubrovnik? Beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The view from the terrace has been compromised by buidlings in front adding another story, so the sea isn't as visible as before. Shade in August on the terrace is minimal and there are no umbrellas. Hanging clothes to dry on the clothesline on the terrace was a flashback to my youth. Clothes did dry really quickly in the sunshine. The steps were challenging to climb. 190 for the first flight down, cross the street and another 110. We took an uber back each time for a cost of 5.97 euros. So much nicer staying in an apartment than a hotel. We did a bit of shopping at the market and enjoyed sitting outside with no one to bother us. Our hosts were always available and were pleasant and accommodating. We intend to visit Croatia again. What a marvelous country!

Rebecca was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions.
Sorted transport from and to airport and also picked us up from old town with cases on return.
Loved Dubrovnik and would like to return, although should be aware of amount of steps everywhere, may not be suitable for some people.

Rebecca’s flat was a great home base for our family while in Dubrovnik. We loved the terrace, multiple living spaces to spread out, and excellent a/c. Lots of stairs between the apt and the walled city, but it was a small inconvenience for such an excellent vacation rental.

Beautiful Apartment
Really lovely and spacious apartment with a traditional feel located just outside the old town. Everything you could possibly need was provided and Rebecca couldn’t have been more helpful by providing great recommendations for places to eat and visit as well as arranging taxi transfers to and from airport.

Wonderful!
We loved our stay in Dubrovnik! Rebecca is a great host, and communication was outstanding. She also has great recommendations, which we definitely appreciated. The accommodations were as described in the listing - beds were very comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved being able to wash clothes and hang them out to dry. And the A/C worked well - super important since it was very hot outside during our stay. We would definitely stay at Rebecca’s again!

We loved Rebecca. Super personal. She helped with transportation from airport. She was super easy to talk to if we had questions. She was quick to respond to all my emails. Loved our view every night on the terrace. Plenty of space for a family or our group of girls like ourselves. Super super close to Old town/grocery store and skylight. No taxi or car needed. Parking is tight everywhere you go. Remind you most are manual type cars. The steps were our daily workout. Will stay here again when we come next year. Oh loved the outdoor shower on a hot day. Sorry it's taken a couple of weeks to write this but Dubrovnik was our first stop on our 2+ week trip to the Balkans and I wanted to have a real computer on which to type up my comments. The view, the patio, the hosts, the space were all perfect. Dubrovnik is a dream -- safe, beyond stunningly beautiful, and so historic, charming and vibrant. I have wanted to visit this region for 30 years and it did not disappointment. In fact, it far exceeded all our expectations. Rebecca's house looks like it has been there for a couple of hundred years, yet the space is all modern, clean, and updated (and apparently newer than it was designed to look). The villa has so much room. We actually had one bedroom where we stored our luggage, and never even got to use the daybed area (which looked so inviting for a nap) because we were so busy the whole time we were there. What all the reviews say is definitely true: No matter how nice the inside space is, you will find yourself drawn to that enormous terrace with spectacular views every waking moment while you are there. We could watch the yachts in the bay, see the boats heading to Lokrum Island (a must do visit -- hike to the fort at top, the views are worth it!), watch the cable car heading up and down the mountain very close by, and view the beautiful old city from this birds eyeview location. Getting to old town only takes about 8-10 minutes by walking down probably a few hundred steps. My wife and I enjoyed the walk down (easy enough!) but only walked back once (it's a treat to get yourself a cab as the uphill climb is a lot more difficult than going down). One of our friends with us on the trip has knee problems but she managed to make it down the steps without too many complaints. We stayed four nights and 5 days and could have spent our full vacation at this spot. We all loved it very much. This was also only one of two places in our 5-city trip that had an American-style coffee maker, which we appreciated. It's fun making Turkish-style coffee and we learned how to do so, but having a coffee maker saved time in the morning. We enjoyed many great meals in Dubrovnik, hiked the city walls (another must-do), took the tram, had a fantastic Game of Thrones/City History tour, visited the other parts of the walled city that are not connected with the main city, swam in the Adriatic, visited Lokrum Island, enjoyed the terrace every morning and evening, and loved every second there! Thanks, Rebecca!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was our first accomodation after multiple flights from Texas. It was both a great location to see Dubrovnik, but also a great place to rest and recover from jet lag. I booked this place for the terrace, and it did not disappoint. Our interactions with the host was minimal, but she was very responsive as we were arriving and met us in person for check in and a tour of the property. Definitely would recommend, and would stay here again!

This Place and host were amazing !!!
Rebecca was the perfect host. Everything was as described. She met us upon arrival explained how all worked. Above and beyond she brought us fresh figs from her tree which were amazing. The view was beautiful for sunset from the terrace. Special thanks to her husband for helping us park are large van. The walk to old town was simple down hill but a little challenging up the stairs. I would highly recommend her place. Thanks again!!

Best view and outdoor patio!

We were a group of 4 friends traveling together. This apartment has the perfect layout - beautiful terrace to hang out on with a view, each had our own space for sleeping (beds and bed linens were very comfortable), very clean. Air conditioning that made it comfortable for all of us while sleeping. Convenient location - pretty much straight down the city steps (maybe 10 minutes if that) to coffee shops, market, places to eat, and one of the old city wall entrances. The steps were well lite at night too. The host responded within minutes each time we reached out for recommendations, questions, etc. and was super helpful from check in to check out. We would absolutely stay here again.

Convenient though vertically challenging if not fit wonderful rental, nicely furnished. Central to the city center and tram, stores nearby. Great patio to chill. Hostess was attentive and responsive. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Amazing place to stay for a short break
We had two nights booked in Dubrovnik before exploring more of Croatia. This apartment more than comfortably accommodated 6 of us and is in great location just outside the old town. The views over Dubrovnik and the sea are stunning. It is an easy downhill walk on the way to town and a reasonably priced taxi ride home (unless you like walking up lots of steps). The cable car is a very short walk away and was a great start to our holiday with a meal at the Panorama Restaurant (yes it was pricy but the service, food and views especially the sunset were worth every penny)
Rebecca was extremely helpful and welcoming before and during our trip. She was more than happy to make suggestions and arrangements for us to enhance our trip. She did warn us that parking was tight outside the property (we should have listened especially as we had a mini bus) but these seems to be a common thing throughout the city. We didn't need a car whilst in the city as everything was easily accessible. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Dubrovnik and can't wait for our next visit.

Wonderful home with amazing views.
Everything was perfect. The stairs kept us fit & worth the view. Beautiful home & great hosts. I would stay there again! :)

Beautiful location to walk right into Dubrovnik
I really enjoyed the location of this property. We didn't have to use our car and the terrace facing the water is beautiful. The house was very clean, but had a slight musty smell.

Comfortable clean sanctuary
We enjoyed our stay in this clean, well maintained apartment with a great terrace for sitting outside and watching the sun set at the end of a day of touring. Also close to a small supermarket.
Rebecca was great in arranging transportation for our group who arrived at different times and in answering our questions.

Vista del Mar ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rebecca and Vido are the best. Our stay was awesome and we would go back and never look for another place to stay but Vista del Mar. Rebecca's communication from day one was great. Vido's great fun to hear his stories, greeting and helpful with initial tour. But most of all his parking skills were top notch, knowing that our BIG van on narrow streets was nearly impossible. Hats off to you VIDO!
As for our stay, the location overlooking the City walls, within walking distance and the Adriatic sea and Lokrum island was top notch. We loved everything about Vista del Mar. We could see the cable car go past our place and the pictures from there were fabulous! What more can we say, but kudos to your communication, directions to your place from the airport, wonderful terrace views, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and kindness were very much appreciated. Thank you Rebecca and Vido for sharing your slice of heaven with us. Mark and Lori Vellky

Great location, clean spacious apartment, just as described.
Great location! The apartment was just as described. Short walk to the old city, restaurants and markets. Garage for parking was fabulous, as Dubrovnik can be the “Olympics of Parking”. Thank you Rebecca and Vido for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Stay in Dubrovnik!
This is a beautiful property in a great location. Dramatic views of the Old Town, Lokrun Island and the Adriatic from the large and beautiful terrace. Walking to the Ploće Gate entrance of Old Town from here is only 10-15 minutes (but all downhill). Rebecca is so helpful; she gave us great recommendations and advice. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Beautifull Dubrovnik experience
Excellent place to stay for the total Dubrovnik experience for two couples and a single. The apartment could have fit 1 more single as well but that room did not have AC. The kitchen was well stocked but we only made breakfast and enjoyed watching Dubrovnik wake up from the patio. Once you are out and about in Dubrovnik there are many great places for lunch and dinner. There is a grocery store with anything you might need a short walk down the hill.
The apartment is up the hill from old town which is a challange climbing stairs but provides excellent views. Also, although this property may have more stairs to climb than others, climbing stairs is a way of life in Dubrovnik! If you have problems with mobility stay in old town or one of the hotels close by.
Although the road in front of the apartment was very narrow most uber drivers had no problem finding it. One "out of town" driver with a van we met down the hill.
Rooms are small but from what we saw from other apartments our friends were staying at the rooms were were fairly typical of Dubrovnik VRBO's. The highlight of this property is the expansive patio providing excellent views.
Rebecca the host met us upon arrival and was very responsive to any of our requests and had lots of good advice about Dubrovnik.
4.8
Best time in Dubrovnik
We had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful home. Not too far from the old city, quiet, comfortable and would definitely return!
