Nice place!

Very quiet place with nice vibe🥰

The beds are really uncomfortable! And the whole house is moving when people use the stairs. Lots of dogs around which were very noisy at night.

Leuk verblijf, aanrader!

Ruime kamer en badkamer, alles heel proper, ligging is prima, gedeelde keuken en frigo, mooie prijs, …

Onze kamer wordt extreem warm overdag, we hadden wel een ventilator maar dan nog was het té warm. Denk wel dat dit enkel onze kamer was, aangezien wij bovenaan sliepen en enkel daar geen schaduw van bomen was.

Little piece of paradise

Its like a sanctuary in the jungle. I picked this place because I heard great things about surf lessons with Sup. I ended up staying and taking a week of lessons (started as a beginner) and Sup was a great teacher and super chill which I loved. Everyone was so friendly, room was clean and always cool (with a fan) and I loved the jungle style shower. I used the kitchen a lot too, and there's free drinking water (which is such a bonus). It's close to the river and if you walk into medewi (it's like 20mins) all the kids are so friendly and will high 5 you. It's perfect if you're looking for a little oasis thats quiet and chill

You probably need a scooter but I didn't mind walking everywhere.

My stay was amazing.

If you love to be in the nature, its your jam! Silence and sounds of animals, thats all you hear. Beautiful open bathroom, comfortable bed, clean kitchen, beautiful garden if you like do yoga. I loved it.

Make sure you can drive a scooter, gograb doesnt work here. But if you do, owner will help you with the rent and with everything you need, Sup is super helpfull and amazing host.

Surf, beach, fun 🤩

Great hostel, the rooms are clean and near of the forest, far from the road and you can eat the forest living around you while sleeping

Sometimes there may be some water outages, but it won't last long

Nice place to stay in Medewi

Nice quiet hostel in the middle of the jungle, easy to socialize with other travelers there, friendly owner who helped me to rent a scooter and gave me surf lessons.

Could be nice to have a small duvet as the nights are a bit cold (there is only a fitted sheet) And not a big deal as the days are warm but good to know: there is no hot water in the shower

Amazing!

Lovely location very relaxing. The owners or staff who ran the property were the loveliest and most helpful people especially sup! Great surf and great stay loved it!

Would of been nice to have hot water but wasn’t that fussed still very nice bathroom

Initially intended to stay for 2 days I ended up staying here for 3 weeks. This place is in the heart of a traditional Balinese village, something what Canggu or rest of Bali must have been decades ago. The property is a tropical dream, made of bamboo, wood, glass which gives a real raw feeling but the beds and bathroom and the atmosphere are very comfortable. Make sure you can ride a scooter because it's about 2kms from the surf spot, but trust me it's a good thing. There aren't many hostels like this left anywhere in Bali. Sup, the owner/manager is a really cool guy who instantly makes you feel welcomed. All fellow surfers I met here were humble, grounded, authentic adventurers. Book it and enjoy your stay!

This place is so beautiful and quiet, right beside the river and surrounded by lush green jungle. Perfect simple accommodation for solo travellers or couples. I stayed a week and felt super relaxed and comfortable. The owner/care taker is such a lovely person. Highly recommend.

Fabulous place and gorgeous village!

Such a gorgeous place! 5 min drive to beach and set back in jungle so super quite and beautiful. Sup is so welcoming! So helpful with anything you need. Absolutely loved my stay here💞

Great stay in a peaceful surrounding

It’s such a beautiful place in a quiet environment. The owner Sup is really nice and helpful, and he is also a great surf instructor! I took one lesson with him and one with his friend and they were both really fun :) Terima kasih!!

- Host - Sup is very friendly, helpful and a very knowledgable surfer - Very clean rooms, beautiful gardens and surroundings - Great value for money

- Scooter hire via host's friend was more expensive than elsewhere and the scooter was of bad quality, however when I told Sup this he offered to change the scooter which was good

Superb

Perfect for a stay in all simplicity in the countryside. Very pretty garden. Sup, the owner is very welcoming and super nice. It’s easy to communicate with him and he can give you great recommandations for eating and stuff to do around.

Amazing place!!

The house is located in the middle of the nature, close to the rice terraces! Only 2 minutes from the main surfspot! Thanks to Sup for the amazing welcome and for helping us with the surf spots! Recommend if you need a nice rest from the messy Bali!

Nice and quiet

Sup is a very nice person, the place is perfect for people looking for a quiet stay off the village.

Maybe put some soap in the shower and provide a towell. Also a fridge to store fresh food would be nice.

Great spot, great host and great vibes!

The quit jungle house is the perfect place to relax and maybe go for a surf. Sup is the owner and a really nice surfer dude. If you want to get away from all the busy towns you should definitely come here to relax for a few days!

Beautiful location in tranquility , good value … comfy bed quaint private outdoor shower . clean toilet .

nothing bad to say about this property. be advised the access road is a little bumpy No internet , use your data sim … coverage is fine . Mosquito nets in rooms 👍

Lovely garden, cute bamboo houses, nice outdoor shower, close to the river, and really friendly helpful host.

If both rooms in the house are occupied you can hear the sounds quite well

Awesome value for money, clean and with nice porch and garden view to chill in.

Very quiet with beautiful garden and with two rooms only ensures really intimate and chilled atmosphere.

The location was bit further away and the road to the property was bit bumpy.
