Beautiful 3 bedroom tri-level, with 2-1/2 bathrooms. Sleeps 6. TV in family room, living room and master bedroom. Huge decks, front and back, and hugely comfortable furniture in the living room. The family room has a cozy fireplace. Beautiful kitchen with granite counters. It has a 2 car garage. Flat driveway for easy access in the winter. The house is 2000 square feet. Easy access to Southern California Theme Parks; e.g. Disneyland, Knott's berry Farm, etc. Amenities include cross country skiing, beautiful mountain hikes in winter, tennis courts and swimming pool in summer. It has a 2 car garage. However, be aware that it has no landline telephone or internet to distract you from the scenic beauty. The EMT's are located about 1 mile away, and Verizon phones will work.

Pine Mountain Club, the nearby faraway place, is one of Southern California's best-kept secrets. 70 miles north of Los Angeles, it is surrounded by 1.7 milion acres of old forests and spectacular mountains. Ideal for one to 2 week vacations, as well as weekend getaways. Recreation opportunities include a 9-hole, PGA rated golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, rental horses, and a clubhouse with lounge, restaurant and recreation room. Star gazers will enjoy the monthly telescope opportunities at the top of Mt. Pinos. The village center offers shops, restaurants, gym gazebo, park, post office, and the best bakery west of the rocky mountains.

I was told at the last minute that a handyman was working on one of the bathrooms due to a flood, and the owner, Dorothy, hoped he would be done on time for us to use. He finished 2 hours before we arrived, and the home wasn't clean. According to Dorothy, the home was cleaned after New Years, 6 weeks prior to our stay, but the home had been used...dirty toilet, bathtub, counters, table tops, trash in the trashcan, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dusty furniture. Especially now, with COVID, one would think special attention would have been paid to cleanliness. I contacted Dorothy, and she apologized for the home not being clean and ready. After several phone calls, she wasn't able to get a cleaner and sent the handyman over. He was upset and made it clear that he was a "handyman" and not a "house cleaner". He even stating that "this what you get with VRBO". At that point I contacted Dorothy again, and she offered to cancel and give a full refund. I agreed to cancel and to the refund. In the end my family had to rent a hotel room 20 miles away only to drive home the next day extremely disappointed. The next day Dorothy contacted me to send her an e-mail describing the uncleanliness of the home, so she could speak with the cleaning person. I sent her the e-mail along with pictures as evidence of the uncleanliness. After nearly a month and several e-mails and phone messages to Dorothy, we haven't heard from her. We hope she is still working with us to solve this fairly.

The mountain house was wonderful and the perfect size for our party of 6. It was cozy and warm on the snowy days we encountered. Our teenagers found the perfect places to snowboard and sled in all of the fresh powder. A great time was had by all and we will definitely rent this property again.

This house is sweet and charming. There is plenty of space. Rooms are cozy and clean. We enjoyed beautiful views and snowfall. Property is very spacious, we did not need to leave to play on the snow. Our kids spent hours playing outside, building snowman, pulling each other on sleds. I agree, with the previous review, the pictures do not fully represent the sweet and cozy feel of the house. Owners were also very thoughtful and accommodating.

Such a blessing was Dorothy's cosy, very well decorated, every detail watched Home for our first ever Xmas as whole family. Dorothy has great taste in decoration, even Xmas decorations! First day was suntan at veranda with Deers and blue coloured birds around.Chipmunk and squirrells, then came snow. Very comfortable beds, great bath tub and shower,too...DVD, TV, even VHS player! Would ve brought Wedding video if i knew! All needed available at kitchen, even party plates! Very clean, great fire place, superb heating. Would love to live there everyday! We had a very relaxing weekend over the Thanksgiving holidays. Well kept, beautiful home, that allowed us to enjoy the views and wild life including birds, several foxes, and squirrels in the morning and evenings. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and will recommend this home to all our friends and family. Thank you for the use of your home.

We had a great time at the Vokolek's house the house is well furnished we didn't miss our own home! Its great that the club ,gas station and store are just about 5 minutes away. My family loved it we are ready to book it for summer break!

The house is sparkling clean. It has everything you can possible need. Everything is working. It's very comfortable and cozy. Dorothy was easy to reach and communicate with. House is conveniently located in the center of Pine Mountain Club. 5 minutes drive to the city center. 3 minutes drive to the beautiful trails. I would definitely recommend this place. The only reason I gave it 4 stars- it's no mobile connections in this area (which is typical for the mountains), but it's no WiFi connections in the house as well. We didn't have any communications with outside world.

Cant wait until next year to book again. So much space! The owners must go through this place with a white glove becuase it was spotless. The beautfiful area took us away from the city life and felt healthier coming home. I highly recomend this rental.
