About this house rental

Please be advised that no early entrance is permitted during your stay unless noted previously to the owner and early check in fee has been paid and that the house and or condo is ready for arrival. If a guest does not abide by this rule and checks in early without the consent of the owner and if the house cleaner is present, please do note that the house cleaner will leave immediately!! If you arrive early and the house has not been cleaned, please then note that the house cleaner will not come to clean the house at all if you and or your guest are present on the property at the time of their arrival to clean the property. This is a strict policy to ensure the safety of the house cleaner and the guest. So please do not plan on arriving early to the house unless it has been agreed to by both you and the Landlord prior to your planned arrival date.

Also note that the gas fee is not charged during the summer months of June/July/August and begins on September 15. The summer months however do incur a daily utility charge of $50, so any inquires of dates during that time frame will show the gas fee/utility fee in the quote as well due to the electrical tier price increase that Southern California Edison charges. Should you elect or want to reserve/book online and do so during the summer months, the gas fee/utility fee will be charged. Further, also note that the gas fee unfortunately can not be calculated as a daily rate during the winter months and will only show as a $50 daily charge, so any vacation request during the winter months will have the gas fee charged accordingly up to the maximum weekly fee. So please again note that when figuring out your rental rate as the rate will more than likely be a bit higher to account for the added gas usage charges up to the maximum amount on a weekly or daily basis. Should you elect or want to reserve/book online the correct gas fee will then be calculated by me based on days and or weeks the property is rented and charged accordingly. Again, I will edit your rental request as necessary for the gas fees and then send you an updated quote to rent the house for the correct amount.

This is my second listing in Palm Springs and is another beautiful get-away home on a large 13,000 plus sq ft lot. This completely remodeled hi-tech home is gorgeous, well-appointed and captures the vibe and sophistication of the Southern California lifestyle or the mid century beauty of Palm Springs with the newly remodeled polished concrete floors throughout the house. This home is located on a golf course with secluded privacy with beautiful mountain views and desert landscaping throughout. Located in south palm springs, this modern 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 1702 sq ft single level house is a quiet retreat ideal for rest, relaxation or a group retreat with the idea of resting/relaxing at the house during your stay. With the spacious open floor plan inside the home you will find ample seating for everyone or go outside and relax by the pool in one of the numerous chaise lounges or deep seating collections under one of the two lanai's or relax in the attached spa while you gaze at the serenity of the property and sunsets at night. The backyard features a newly constructed outside entertainment area, featuring a large beautiful rocked fireplace under the large lanai, a fire pit near the golf course with amazing sunsets at night and a custom outdoor kitchen with built in 40" profession Lion BBQ, under mount refrigerator and sink, along with the numerous counter high chairs to sit around on the counter area and watch television or just gaze out at the sunset and or property. Additionally the outdoor kitchen features a 55” flat screen tv under the lanai, that is hung above the fireplace and then another 47" flat screen tv under the attached patio cover near the master bedroom slider for further outdoor entertainment/viewing of your favorite sport teams, or simply sitting and enjoying music and or television while outside. All tv’s are set-up with direct tv, so you will have many viewing options to choose from. The main patio cover with the bbq and sink also features an outdoor heater for the cooler months which will enable you to enjoy your time outside late into the evening, along with the heat from the fireplace.

This 3 bedroom home is beautifully furnished with a large open living area that flows into the kitchen with a large flat screen 55" TV over the beautiful rock dual fireplace and then a 40" TV adjacent to the kitchen island. The 55" TV is a smart television allowing you access to stream some of your favorite movies from your streaming accounts or you can utilize the Blue Ray DVD player that is hidden behind the TV to watch some of your favorite movies. The user-friendly kitchen includes all modern appliances and is well stocked with glass, dining, and cookware. There is a total of three refrigerators with the large refrigerator, one beverage refrigerator on the kitchen island along with one wine chiller/refrigerator also located in the kitchen island. Two sliding glass doors lead to the large private backyard and pool area, from both the kitchen area and then the large adjacent living room. The outdoor dining area is also covered under the main lanai with two ceiling fans and light along with the 40" gas Lion professional BBQ that was previously mentioned.

The pool has been recently remodeled to include color led lights with four deck jets spraying into the pool along with a large tanning shelf near the jacuzzi, which makes the backyard perfect for all types of activities or just lounging for all guest at the house. Complete outdoor privacy provides the opportunity for swimming and sunning for those who choose. Inside the house, air-conditioning and ceiling fans allow for complete interior comfort, day or night. High speed wireless internet is included. For our guest’s added convenience, there is a washer/dryer located in the garage for use during your stay. The home features a two-car garage as well for those wishing to park their cars inside.

The house has two master suites. The farther or back master suite has a sliding glass door that leads to the backyard has a Cal king bed, along with its own bathroom with dual vanity bath sinks as well as a dual head walk in shower. The sliding glass door leads out from this master bedroom to a covered lanai with seating area to enjoy the pool and spa or to gaze out at the golf course or surrounding property. The second master suite has a standard king bed along with its own private bathroom featuring one vanity sink along with a walk in shower. This bedroom also has a 48" flat screen tv to enjoy as well. The middle or hall bedroom has a queen bed with comfortable furnishings. All three bedrooms are equipped with flat screen televisions with direct tv satellite service. Total house can sleep six people very comfortably and up to eight if the two guest are children. Perfect house for friends, three-four couples or a large family.

The PS Links house is located on a quiet residential street in the desirable Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, which has been named by Golf Digest “One of the Best Places to Play” for golf resorts. The Legend Course which the PS Links house is located on was designed by William Francis Bell, also known for designing Torrey Pines, La Jolla Country Club and Bermuda Dunes Country Club.

PS Links is close to the downtown shopping strip, the aerial tramway, world gym, the riviera club, three shopping malls, excellent restaurants, medical facilities, spa locations, worship centers, award-winning golf courses and several casinos. The residence is non-smoking, although smoking is permitted, outside. All linens are provided, along with bath towels and includes swim towels as well. Families with infants and or children of all ages are welcome, however, the pool area is not fenced, so we discourage unattended toddlers and younger children swimming or to be unattended at anytime while in the backyard near or around the pool. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.

We cherish our escapes to our own desert getaway, as we always have valuable rest and memorable fun. Please come experience this house as we’re sure you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.

Overall, if we were going back to Palm Springs, I would book this place again. The "issues" this property has are real, but pale in comparison to the upside, at least as far as we're concerned. Cons - the furnishings in the living areas - including the living and dining room and some of the outdoor furniture are very low quality and completely worn out. Also, the paint on some of living area floor is peeling off, bubbling and stained. For the most part, this place makes a terrible first impression. Really a shame because it would be easy and relatively inexpensive to upgrade and/or improve the problems. In addition, despite the fact that cleaners were there immediately prior to our arrival, the place was dirty, including dust on any hard-to-reach place (ceiling fans) etc. Also, most of the outdoor fans and lights don't work. I should note that we didn't bother to call about the cleaning or try to replace bulbs because we did some cleaning ourselves and just didn't feel like bothering with the other stuff. Pros - The outdoor space is FANTASTIC! Pool, hot tub, grilling area, firepit, fireplace and outdoor TV were just tremendous. And most of what we wanted to do was to be outside. If you're a golfer you'll love the putting greens. Also the fruit trees on the property are fantastic - especially the Meyer Lemon tree. Also, all of the bedrooms were very comfortable, with good pillows and linens, and the bathrooms were in good shape. Finally, the kitchen had pretty new and good appliances and was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc (including some beer and ice cream from the prior renters!). More so, the indoor spaces are large and well laid out, the neighborhood is great, bikes in the garage are fun. So ... if you're a real neat freak or expect nice furnishings, this is not for you. Otherwise, it's a great value for the cost.

The backyard is very nice. This house has been neglected. It has great potential, but simple repairs and amenities are over looked. The sliding bathroom door track missing screws, so the door wouldn't close easily or properly. One bed was missing it's mattress pad for very soiled mattress. One room missing cable box to tv and each cabinet and drawer in the bathroom was missing a handle. The sliding doors need adjusting or replacing - difficult to open and dirty. The outdoor wicker furniture, bar stool cushions and tv covers were disintegrating. Many more opportunities. I failed to receive access info, the day of arrival, until contacting the management company. No soap for showers or washing machine. No shower mats. The overwhelming amount of correspondence regarding rules, AFTER full refund was no longer available, was disturbing. Emails with attachments, texts repeating over and over about the noise ordinance and parking. It's so bad, it makes you feel as if you're being set up for something. This place is poorly managed because it wouldn't take much to get to 5 stars. In all of the similarly priced homes I have stayed in with vrbo, I haven't had anything negative to mention, but this one warrants attention.

We stayed in the house for a week with our extended family which included two 2 year olds and a 2 month old. The house was a perfect setup for what we needed. We spent the entire week in the outdoor living area and pool. We would definitely stay here again. We found the house instructions a bit overwhelming and confusing. The instructions could be improved by having them in point form and less reiterated information. Overall we had a great time. Location was convenient and the neighbourhood very nice. Amenities are in walking distance and downtown just a short drive. The house is close to the airport. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting a nice stay in Palm Springs.

The best part of this rental was the outside pool area. It is outstanding. Not only the pool hot tub covered bar and bbqing area but the surrounding hedge and trees that are home to abundant bird life. Everything from doves to hummingbirds. There was even a butterfly migration happening during our stay. Outstanding. Plenty of room to get out the sun if you want plus lots of umbrellas that you can move around. Lots of floatys for the pool The house has been updated and has a nice open floor plan. But it does show some wear but is totally manageable. The beds are on the soft side but the pillows are top knotch. Overall we found this place easy to drive to and in a quiet neighbourhood. But be aware that this house in on a golf course and there are balls entering the backyard.

Our family of 4 truly enjoyed our 1-week stay in this home over the winter holidays. The home is is a very convenient location, and it was easy to get around Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and Rancho Mirage. The home is lovely and comfortable, with high-end appliances, high-quality beds and linens, and lots of space. The backyard was a special treat, with a wonderful pool and spa that was kept deliciously warm. It was chilly while we were there, otherwise we would have spent even more time outside. There is even a charming orange tree in the corner of the yard. There were a few signs of wear and tear, which one can expect from a rental home, but not enough to cavil about. I would certainly recommend this rental.
