Stairs railing upto front deck were falling off, cld maintenance and someone was out ot fix the next day. Fying pans were so scratched teflon was mostly gone, detrimental to your health, need to be replaced!!! Garbage from prev renters was torn up and all over where cans are...you need more cans and bungee cords to hold on lids. Rodents were having a blast.

We brought our children and significant others for another three nights! Played games, made meals together and had a great time relaxing. House is clean and well maintained.

Easy check in/check out instructions, close to Mt. Bacheor and Bend. Clean and tidy, comfy beds. Great place to stay.

We and our adult children and our three grandchildren spent four nights at the property. The property was an excellent set up for our group of 10. We enjoyed the hot tub. The downstairs was perfect for our three grandchildren and their parents. The TV room was great for the January 1 football bowl games, and the large kitchen table was great for playing games. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Grouse. Plenty of room for our big family and the hot tub was a big hit.

Great location. Easy access. Lower bedrooms were much colder than the main upstairs area.
Large table with plenty of chairs to easily sit 10+.

The family traveled to Oregon for my eldest daughter's wedding. There were 11 adults and one child. Being from the East Coast, we found the location spectacular. The forest, the colors, and the house itself exceeded my expectations. We had deer in our yard every morning and spent the last night with stargazing. The ability to share meals and laughs as we prepped for the big day was priceless. We also had enough space that the bride and her party could get ready there. The property team made things easy and clear to understand. Totally recommend to others and hope to return.

This home in Sunriver is really beautiful. We came here for a ministry retreat and so enjoyed our time. There were a few concerns we had about the property, and the hosts were quick to respond and reassure us about both things that needed to be checked on.
Overall a beautiful location and a wonderful space to sit in quiet and think about things (which is exactly what we came there for!). We would highly recommend to anyone else.

The space was conveniently located, clean and so fun. The entire family loved it. We surprised my mom for her 60th. Gave them the master w/bath in room. My brother/wife slept in a queen upstairs and their 3 kids slept in the bunk room and shared the bathroom. My husband and I slept comfortably downstairs, our teens shared the LARGE couch/futon and our adult daughter/her husband had a queen room and we all shared the bathroom.
Everyone loved the outside seating and there was plenty space for games, dining and fun. We had 13.
Next to the river & quick access to walking & biking paths. Also Mtn bike trails!

The house is amazing and beds are super comfortable. We were there for a family reunion and it worked out well. We did have a couple of issues with the appliances. The garbage disposal wasnt working and sink kept getting clogged. They were helpful and came but it did cause some stress. The floor is basement bathroom has water that pools on the floor. I think it comes from underneath so may need some repairs. I would stay again

Perfect and well appointed house for a big group of people. We enjoyed our stay!

We were a group of friends running the cascade lake relay race and this was a great place to call home base. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of room for all of us. The only issue was it seemed a little tricky to get the appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher) to start, but we eventually figured it out. Had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place for multiple families to share a home. Clean and plenty of beds for all. Appreciate the extra bedding for the futon. Kitchen had plenty of dishes for a crowd. Would be helpful to have a better stocked kitchen for crowds ( serving bowls, platters and more choices for pans, cookie sheets, etc). the game room air hockey did not work and a ping pong table would be a nice addition to game room as kids did not spend much time there due to not a lot of choices.

Unfortunately this property was just ok.....other properties in Sunriver are excellently better. No electrical plug-ins in any of the bathrooms. The home is marketed for 12+people, yet not dinnerware or towels to accommodate. The futon needs to be disposed of.... not adequate for sitting or sleeping. The locate was beautiful near the river, but overall this is an over priced, lower end accommodation.

This home was perfect for our family. Our family included 3 generations (grandparents, parents, and 2 young children: 3 years; and 19 months). The home was very kid-friendly. The beds were quite comfortable. The check-in process was seamless. The kitchen was well equipped for meal prep for a large group. I would definitely stay in this property again.

Plenty of rooms, and bathrooms, for 3 families and 2 single adult children. Kitchen well supplied. Lots of dishes and we really appreciated some random grilling spices in the cupboards: ) The wood stove was super nice but it can get a bit chilly downstairs if you don't run the furnace a bit too. The house was very kid friendly!

Great property. Great house.

It was a nice sized house but it wasn't that clean. My young grandkids turned the deadbolt in the bathroom and got trapped in the bathroom when the deadbolt got stuck. When the maintenance crew came the next morning he took the deadbolt off and told us that it had gotten stuck before. I was just a little upset that it hadn't been removed or fixed because it scared our kids.

We had a nice stay in Sunriver at this location. The house was actually rented for a group of us going to a wedding in Bend, so we didn't have the opportunity to use a lot of the amenities (bikes, SHARC passes). The kitchen was large and fully equipped, the only inconvenience was that we couldn't find any scissors.

Excellent house for family reunion
We had a wonderful 4-night family reunion; the house was perfect with the large gathering space in the living room and a large dining table; plenty of chairs. The outdoor patios were not large enough for outdoor dinners for all of us but that was OK. The house maintenance was a bit lacking and prior cleaning wasn't great (there was obviously a bachelorette party prior to us with shaped sequins found on the table and near the couch that weren't appropriate for the young kids to find! :) ). A 10-yr old granddaughter got stuck in the bathroom within 5 minutes of arriving (for about 10 minutes) because the deadbolt lock on that door got stuck; that door is very hard to close completely; after that we didn't use the lock. Communication is lacking: heating/cooling is preset (can't control with thermostat) which the person responding to my text didn't know (although the temperatures were comfortable so that part was OK; it was just confusing). One upper bunkbed railing is lower than the mattress so of no value; the ladder rungs and other railing rotate easily ; seems unsafe to me. In summary, some issues but it is a beautiful and comfortable wood house and we all had a great time enjoying our time together; the bedroom arrangement worked very well and there was space for the kids to play downstairs and the air hockey table and bikes in the garage were great.

Great for space and budget; Needs some fixing up
First off, our whole family agreed the space was great. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and for board games at the dinner table. The view from the living room was beautiful, and we were largely extremely comfortable and all right with dealing with the general upkeep and functional issues we ran into over the four nights we were all there. I'll preface these by saying that by themselves, these issues would be little to no issue, but as these were all present for our stay, it snowballed and was very noticeable.
Of most importance is the fact the kitchen needs some work both in functionality for use and for what supplies are there. The cabinets and drawers are heavy and sticky, difficult to open. We had several people bend back fingernails just trying to get some drawers opened up, and we had one child accidentally pop themselves in the mouth when a cabinet door stuck and suddenly came free. It's probably due for an updating. We also struggled with the dishwasher bottom shelf. Regardless of how careful we were, it continuously came off the track and upturned many a plate. We also would suggest purchasing a newer, better coffee maker for this house. We regularly made 12 cups according to the water container, but during the brewing, the total ended up being barely to 10cups in the carafe, and those 10 cups took a very, very long time to brew. We would also all suggest ensuring the kitchen is better equipped with general rental items or at least that renters are notified of what to bring (cooking oil, aluminum foil, etc). As our house between the two houses rented had all the children, we prepared all of the reunion's meals there, and not having certain supplies on hand (which were available at the other house) was incredibly inconvenient. Not what we wanted to deal with while managing five hangry kids.
We also want to note and suggest some general maintenance items. First, the upstairs master bedroom has two blinds that do not raise at all, and one of the windows is missing its window crank. Next, the gutters leak at seams, and the south side facing gutter is barely attached to the house. Thirdly, the decks probably could use a good fixing up with being refinished and resealed to help people avoid splinters and protect the integrity of the structure. Lastly, we found the bikes available to be very much not maintained and were incredibly difficult to ride with any confidence.
We did have a lot of enjoyment in the openness of the space for conversations and time with family. We got a lot of excellent use out of the hot tub, and loved being able to use the SHARC passes. The dining table was exactly the size we needed for our family, and having the decks both with table and chairs helped the spillover. The beds were super comfortable, too. Everyone slept incredibly well. And our kids absolutely loved the bunk room.
Overall, it was a good place to stay with some cumulative issues that are truly easily fixed. We enjoy Sunriver a lot.

Spacious
Very spacious, we had 12 people and had plenty of sleeping space and room to just exist without feeling on top of each other. A little Smokey smelling when we got there, but once the air conditioning turned on it slowly got better. Overall a great place.

Decent House
We appreciate staying here for our church retreat. But unfortunately there were some things of concern that made this stay less than 5 stars. The second we got here and opened the bathroom door that is in the far bedroom on the left the door handle fell off. We tried to fix it, but it was beyond repair as it looked like it previously snapped off and someone just placed it in the door. Also, the oven only has heating technology on the top of the oven which also made it difficult for our meals we had planned for this trip and would have been good to know. We also noticed a window that is in the bedroom downstairs is broken as when you crank it out to open it the window comes off of the tracks. We did enjoy our stay and loved the layout of the house! Just unfortunately there were things in this house that we didn't expect to encounter for how much we paid.

Great location
Really neat log home! Short walk to the river and you can hear the frogs from the deck.
It'salso very close to new trails to access Tyler's/Lower Storm King in Bend, so you can ride from the house. We'll rent again just for that :)
The house needs some minor maintenance. The kitchen and dining area are kind of a tight squeeze with 8 adults, but the sleeping space options are excellent. BYO cooking oil, foil, and condiments.

New Year’s Eve stay
Great home, comfortable space with plenty of room. Located close to multiple walking paths. Minor detail - the rooms are very warm at night….crack open a window.
Everything was great and would go again.

Family reunion
It is a lovely house and well suited to a large family. Well stocked - nice towels! It was clean . However I emailed them with a list of deferred maintenance which definitely needs to be done. At the price they are charging the dishwasher should not be broken, and the miniblinds need to work among other things. In spite of that I would rent it again but first would check with them to see if the things I listed have been repaired.

Great cabin everything as expected
We had a great time, this house a true cabin feel and plenty of room for our entire party. The location is perfect, close enough to Mt. Bachelor and near some shopping and community activities. The only minor issues were the owner or maintenance lingering around the house which startled some guests. I believe they were clearing the snow on the driveway but was unexpected and near they were near the entry way. The house could use a handyman. Looks like aftertime it has things broken or falling apart. It is a lower price than other homes so it was expected. The heat in the house is inconsistent, we had to turn the thermostat up all the way for the rooms in the basement to be comfortable. Lastly, some complaints about the hot tub noise bothering those in the room next to the hot tub. These are minor and just for helpful feedback. All in all a great place and a great stay.

Awesome vacation!
Our reservations we had at the coast were canceled due to an issue with the house we were going to rent. Arrived came to the rescue and let us reserve this home last minute the same day! There were a couple of very small things we needed and Arrived came through quickly. The house is beautiful, comfortable and all of the cooks, bakers and grill masters were so pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked! No spices other than salt and pepper but that's normal. The hot tub was awesome! There's toys and a perfect play area for the littles and bikes including a trailer for the grandkids. We will rent from Arrived again for sure!
