Reviewer Comments:
We were so excited to start an annual tradition by driving to Flagstaff to celebrate fourth of July with family. Unfortunately our stay wasn’t exactly the best. Although we liked the location. We did not know the house had no A/C or that it was locked. It was very hot the entire time we were there. At night the ones sleeping in the downstairs bedrooms were miserable. There was no ice or ice trays. We went to buy some as we were so hot. We weren’t allowed to use the balconies or even the balcony doors and there were no other windows in the upstairs bedroom. There was also food crumbs on the counter tops when we arrived , dog hair in the pull out couch. The place advertises that it sleeps 14 people, but beware that price you think your paying is just for four people, they tack on an extra 10 dollars a day per person after the first four. They don’t tell you about that until you have already paid And then contact you to collect extra money. They don’t have enough plates for fourteen people in the cabin ( we went out and bought paper plates to cover and there were only 8 of us). Then we recently got a charge taken out of our deposit of 80.00 because we didn’t pay for the cabin with an E check, apparently it’s in tiny writing in the agreement you sign, we never saw it at all. Lots of hidden fees with this place. We will definitely choose somewhere different next year.

The house was fine but somewhat dated but served our purposes. It’s in a very nice neighborhood and was safe with nice views of the mountains off the front porch which was the only accessible porch in the house. The house was clean and the beds were adequately comfortable. It was nice having the hot tub I just wish it would have been a bit warmer and could use a defoaming agent. Overall, the house was good and I appreciated the informative instructions for our stay. 7 out of 10.

We stayed here as we traveled for a family vacation and enjoyed the cabin in the mountains! We used this location as a hub to drive to Winslow, Williams, and the Grand Canyon! House was clean and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck!

The house is I. A very nice neighborhood close to the golf course. Saw a herd of deer passing through the yards. This was a family weekend and we had plenty of room. The mattresses were as stated in other reviews hard and lumpy. The biggest disappointment was we couldn’t use any of the balconies off the bedrooms. A few of the kitchen utensils were broken. But we made due.The host was very helpful and responded right away. It’s an older house and could use a deep cleaning. We found socks under the couch and candy rappers underneath the bed. I’m not sure I would recommend it to my friends.
4.8
Everything was awesome. The only thing I had an issue with was the room directly next to the washer and dryer. It seemed the plumbing had an odor around that area. It wasn’t too pleasant, but we managed everything else was fantastic. I would do it again.
4.8
Overall we were happy with the house. The hot tub was an added bonus. Nice layout, but felt old. No games, kitchen items were adequate, but opening cupboards that are empty makes the place feel...so lonely. Would be nice to have added extras. Serving platters, salad bowl...etc. I see this place as a hangout for a bunch of skiers that come to crash rather than a place for a family that want to enjoy time together...playing games. Even with all that said, I would recommend to friends and family.

Reviewer Comments:
Nice location and great for our needs. Jacuzzi is in front yard and there is no back yard, but otherwise photos are true depiction of place. Was great for two families as all the cousins loved sleeping together in the bunk room. All supplies were provided or available. Thanks for a great week in flagstaff!

We enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Mountain Chalet. Our family of 5 had plenty of space and were very comfortable. It was clean and in a very nice neighborhood. We still felt like we had enough privacy and the house was conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit (university, observatory, hiking trails, parks, etc...). We didn't realize that there wasn't any air conditioning (only heat), but the weather was pretty nice and it didn't bother us too much. Overall, the place was great!
4.8
After staying only 1 of our 2 nights that we paid for, we decided to leave. The cabin was too hot for us to be able to sleep. We tried to open as many windows and doors as possible, but couldn't keep them open at night as only a few of the windows and only 1 of the doors had a screen. There are two ceiling fans, but without cooler temps they did little to help.
In addition, the bed we slept in was broken down in places, and the couch in the living room was also broken down. The gas cooktop could not be started without a lighter, after turning the gas to the burner on. Pretty scary.
For the money charged, I expected MUCH better.

Beautiful home in the pines. We had a girls weekend for 5 of us.
4.8
This property was very nice and clean. It was in a nice neighborhood out of the hustle of downtown, yet still close enough to be convenient. It made the weekend with the family very memorable. It slept 12 of us easily and hotels cannot compare to the feel of having everyone together under one roof. The property has a jacuzzi (we didn't use, but was a nice option), a bbq on the patio for grilling meals, a fireplace, tv & internet capabilities and a full kitchen with all the basics anyone would need.
The communication with the rental company was perfect. We had checked out and left medications accidently in the fridge but we were able to contact them and allowed to return and pick them up saving both money and peace of mind.
There are a couple things that would put this property over the top however. The double and twin bunk beds are worn and in need of replacement, the knives are dull (dull knives are dangerous knives as they slip off the food potentially injuring the user) & it would be nice if the hot water heater had a higher capacity to hopefully keep up with the 12 of us.
Overall, we truly enjoyed this property and would give it a 9 / 10. The entire family had a great weekend together celebrating our university graduate. Thank you!

Flagstaff was super charming, and this house definitely helped enhance the experience for me and my family. The location of the property is in a quiet neighborhood but a lot of other houses, but the "chalet" is unique in how high it's situated so you'd don't necessarily notice the other houses around you. I loved the wide open space, the well appointed kitchen, the hot tub, and the bedroom layout. You do get a whiff of chimney smoke when you walk in, as the fireplace clearly gets a lot of use, but that's likely to be a plus for many. Overall I would recommend!

Reviewer Comments:
Location of stay was great. We travel with our 2 small dogs, so we’re limited to rentals that accept pets. The issues we encountered that made our stay less than desirable were:1. We didn’t receive info on how to access the lockbox in time (check in was 4 pm), so when we arrived we couldn’t get in right away. The rental manager said he sent the email, but we looked and it was not there.2. Hot tub was unusable. We have a hot tub at home so we know how the chemicals should read on a test strip. We did not go in the water due to the lack of chemical balance. The water was also cloudy. It looked like it needed to be drained and refilled.3. A pill of some sort was left on the floor of the bedroom where we stayed upstairs. Again, we traveled with our dogs so we’re thankful we found it before one of them did.4. One toilet had urine on the underside of the seat...ew.5. One bathroom had 2 out of the 4 vanity lights out.6. They’re were crumbs left on the island countertop.7. Island countertop was sticky. It could use a resurfacing. We read this in the reviews and it is an issue. We don’t travel often and I do not like giving subpar reviews, but it was these points above that made our stay less than desirable.

We only stayed one night after a day at the Grand Canyon and it was perfect end to a perfect day. The house is located in a great neighborhood and very quiet. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the spa sadly. But the front windows views and kitchen are amazing.
4.8
We enjoyed our stay in Flagstaff, even with the freezing temperatures and snow. Location is great, very close to restaurants and interstate access, as a base for Flagstaff and Grand Canyon adventures. Easy text communication with the owner. The hot tub is literally on the front deck of the house and because of the lack or privacy, gusty winds and freezing temps, we did not use it but it looked and smelled clean. The previous guest had used the wood burning fireplace (we did not) so there was a campfire smell at check in. Kitchen was well equipped and the provided laundry detergent and washer/dryer was super useful. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, except for lots of dog walkers (even in 20 degrees!). Upstairs bedroom mattress was a bit too soft for us, but we are used to very very firm. Check in information was very detailed and check out was simple, not a lot of household chores. With four of us on devices and the tv streaming, we did have buffering a few times but the Wi-Fi was adequate. I concur with the other reviews that the island butcher block surface can seem sticky but it is clean. No big deal! We are a family of four - 2 adults, 2 teenagers - and this house was a good base camp for us.

We had a great stay in Flagstaff, the house was very clean and comfortable. The spa was perfect.
4.8
It was listed as a cabin but it is situated in a regular neighborhood as a row house. After paying so much for cleaning found the kitchen highland is so sticky. It was listed as sleeps 12 but after booking got to know the price is only for 4 and I had to pay for another 4 guest. The hot tub was located in the patio facing the street so not comfortable to use it until it was dark. Overall not satisfied for the price and the cleaning fee paid.
4.8
The property was very nice and clean. It fit all our 11 family members. It is not secluded but in a neighborhood so is a great place to stay if you plan to ski or do other activities while in Flagstaff.
4.8
Our family kids and grandkids go to Flagstaff every other year to celebrate Christmas. We usually stay at Arizona mountain in and rent a large cabin for 12. This is the first time at the chalet and we absolutely loved it. More open concept , able to all be together in the same space. Loved the location and the jacuzzi was a nice bonus!
4.8
The house was wonderful, hot tub delightful and felt spacious for the amount of people inside. The counter and floors were slightly sticky, but we were told that was normal for the counters. Most everything was in great shape, minus a few broken bed slats on the bottom of one of the bunk beds. We had enough room for everyone regardless and will definitely be coming back! Thanks again for being so accommodating and getting back to us in a timely manner. 10/10 would stay here again ☺️

The home was very cozy and cute. We stayed because we visited NPX and it was great because it was a super short drive away. My kids loved the chocolates on everyone's pillows. We would definitely stay here again.

House is cozy with open kitchen floor plan. We went in hot tub and played family games on large table, good bonding.
4.8
This rental was in a great location. The house was well equipped for our needs. The only regret was it was just overnight. Definitely a place to stay again if we get back to Flagstaff.
4.8
We booked this place as a place to stay the night as we moved across the country with our 1 year old and cats. On Expedia, the listing says that pets are welcome. So we booked based on that. Well apparently, they only allow dogs. Which is fine but that’s no where on the listing. They were able to accommodate us for additional fees but I wish this rule was posted somewhere so that we would have avoided the headache. The property itself was great! Lots of space and the amenities were nice. However, ironically since the no cats rule was because of “many people having cat allergies”, there was dog hair all over the bedspread in the master. Good thing we aren’t allergic to dogs, though our cats weren’t too pleased.
4.8
This house is located in a good neighborhood, very quiet. The cleanliness of the home left much to be desired. When we arrived, there were crumbs on the kitchen table, gross hairs in both bath tubs, and gritty/sandy material in the master sheets. The master bed is *very* uncomfortable and creaky/loud. Reviews stated there was a swing set and was close to downtown Williams. The reviews were definitely carried over from another home - there is no swing set and not really even a yard suitable for kids to play in. The home is also 30+ miles from Williams. We will not return to this property.
4.8
This was the ideal location for my family to enjoy a few nights in the fall weather. They love to come back next year!

Relaxing getaway in the Pines
The cabin is very private and comfortable. Our granddaughter loved the play set in the yard. It didn’t cool off as much as we had hoped, so we were thankful for the window air conditioning units during the day. The cabin was well supplied with kitchen utensils and bathroom towels. I was glad I had packed some shampoo and conditioner and a bar of soap so I didn’t have to use the soft soap that was provided to shower. The only downside was the comfort of the patio furniture. The pads for the medal chairs are very thin and don’t lend themselves to sitting for extended periods of time, at least not for me and my husband at age 60. At a cabin you tend to spend a lot of time outside, and I wish the furniture was more comfortable. As you can see, I still gave the overall rating of excellent, so the outside furniture wasn’t that big of a deal.
