About this house rental
Salisbury Serenity is located up on the mountain side in Kings Beach with peek views of the lake in a tranquil setting; the perfect place for families to enjoy Tahoe together. On the end of quiet a cul-de-sac where you can access the national forest and explore for miles and miles -either hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing or snowshoeing(snowshoes provided). Only five minutes from some of the best sandy beaches and golfing at Lake Tahoe and a short drive to NorthStar Resort, Incline Village and Diamond Peak Resort. For the summer, beach towels, chairs, games and toys are provided.
This home has expansive, vaulted ceilings, and flawless luxury. The stylish architecture is very easy on the eye and offers an inviting appeal at first glance. Ascending the exterior stairs brings you to the front door. Upon entry, you are greeted by a spacious open area great room which includes the warm living area, granite filled kitchen, and the large, natural wood dining room. Finished with lovely stained wood and subtle lighting, this common area is very welcoming. The living room features a stone faced fireplace, and an up to date entertainment center. Access to one of the decks is just off the living area through the glass doors where you will find peek views of the lake; a great place for dining and sunbathing. There are two decks - one in front of the home and one in the back. Each deck has a dining table, four chairs and an umbrella. The front deck has two chaise lounges with a side table for the lounges. The back deck has a Weber gas barbecue two additional chairs and a side table. The kitchen is topped off with smooth granite counters and updated appliances. In addition a gas stove top, double oven, extra large island with counter seating, and the beautiful dining area that has seating for 10. The kitchen will delight the chefs and entertainers in your group and is fully equipped with a microwave, double oven, 5 burner gas stovetop, blender, Cuisinart, toaster, coffer maker, Vertu Nespresso machine (bring your own pods!), tea pot, hand mixers, hand blender, all kinds of cooking and baking pots and pans and some lovely serving bowls and baskets. The large kitchen island is the perfect place for additional prep space with a separate sink with disposal and for serving up a feast! The master suite, featuring a king bed with a private full bath and Jacuzzi tub is located upstairs. There are three additional bedrooms downstairs to offer plenty of sleeping arrangements. The three remaining bedrooms offer a king, queen and two sets of twin bunk-beds respectively. All bedrooms have TV's with cable, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Two car garage with door opener is also available at this property. The downstairs bunk room just added a new foosball table. This is a smoke and pet free home.

This was an amazing stay overall.
Pros: House is well maintained.
Kitchen is very well stocked and has everything you need. Safeway is a stone's throw away, so if you bring groceries, you don't need to eat out at all.
Appliances are bit dated but work perfectly fine. Plenty of dishes for a large group.
Bedrooms are large and airy.
The living dining area is spectacular.
Washing machine and dryer are provided and work great
The red folder has detailed instructions for ANYTHING you may need during the stay and makes everything so easy!
Cons(barely qualify as cons , but noting it)
beds are starting to show age, still usable and not uncomfortable but are getting there.
Central Air isn't very powerful, expected given the size of the house. But there are plenty of fans that can be used for heating/cooling and make your stay super comfy.
Overall, one of my best stays ever! Home away from home. We'd love to come back here again.

This was a wonderful house for our family with a kitchen well stocked with cooking items to cook all our meals. House was clean and well stocked with towels and beach supplies. Very close to Kings Beach for our day trips t the beach and yet quiet enough to enjoy the wilderness. We would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and spacious home, only a short drive to King's Beach. Well-stocked and plenty of room. We also appreciated the beach chairs, towels, & toys! My only word of caution is how early the sun rises. The shades in the bedrooms definitely let light in, so when the sun is up at 6am, you - & your children - will also be up at 6am. I'd love to see some blackout curtains. Otherwise, very nice house that I would recommend!

July10-14,2023 - This is a beautiful well stocked home. We had seven adults and two children and had more than enough room to spread out. It’s the most comfortable vacation home I’ve rented. The beach is less than 10 minutes away as is the grocery store. Drove 15 minutes to Truckee for dinner. I would definitely stay here again. FYI- If you are looking to stay in the winter just know that the drive way is very steep. We could only fit one large SUV in the garage and only two other cars fit in the drive way.

Kings Beach is a wonderful location to Northstar and grocery stores... This home was really quite nice. Everything you want or need for the kitchen is provided. We are now raising a 3rd generation of Kings Beach visitors and Northstar skiers. We definitely would rent again. The only recommendation I have is to put a key lock box on the porch for your guest to have easy access. After a 9 hour drive, the last thing we want to do is drive to Tahoe City for the key. And leaving at 5:00am we want to get on the highway and not drive the key back to town. Very inconvenient.

The owner wrongfully blamed us for damage that we pre-existing to our stay. We are a young family with toddlers and were told that our pets did extensive damage to the property. We don't even have any pets!!!

We rented this place to spend quality time with our children and grand children. This place absolutely fill the bill. Very clean, very well equipped. Just like a private vacation home that is not to be rented out. We would come back here and recommend it to others.

It is a lovely 4-bedroom 2-and-a-half (not three) bath house in a beautiful neighborhood of Kings Beach off of Highway 267. However, making folks drive out of their way to pick-up and drop off keys in Tahoe City is not acceptable. Had there been a lock-box it would’ve easily shaved off a half-hour from the drive. 10 AM checkout is TOO early as well. Adults in bunk bedroom can’t sit up fully w/o bumping their heads because of the chain supports. Well-equipped house though…

Overall a nice place to stay. Very clean. The sliding screen doors were bent and hard to operate and the refrigerator door trim fell off. Nothing serious. Checking in was more difficult than it needed to be. Had to travel to the realtors office which was several miles away. Overall we enjoyed the property.

Excellent property
This was the perfect house for our two families to stay in. The kids loved the bunk room and all the beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect for us to get to the ski resorts. We went into the town a few times for dinner and it was great. The house had everything we needed.
The only thing was the dishwasher seemed to not be working properly, otherwise everything was great. Would definitely recommend.

House is much better than shown in the photos - clean and neat. Key pickup and dropoff are a bit far especially if you arrive late at night.

Girlfriend getaway
This is a lovely, very clean home. The kitchen was well stocked.
It was really nice to be able to park in the garage. There was plenty of linens.
It was a bit inconvenient to pick the keys up in Tahoe City. I think leaving the keys in a lock box would have been more secure than how we picked up the keys.

Good Property...Needs TLC
The property itself has good bones and nice location, but it is in need of some TLC. Many things in the home were in disarray: screen doors torn, deck & grill dirty, spider webs on lights and in corners. Owners appear to only be concerned about making money on the property. Even the hand soap had water added to it. For the price, the property should be better cared for. The essentials were clean like the beds and bathrooms. Also the kitchen was well stocked, but items were not organized in any way. If we needed to an item in the kitchen we had to open every cupboard and drawer to find it. On another note, the home does not have air conditioning. I did not notice this when making the reservation, and with all the smoke in the area it was hard to leave the windows open. Regardless of these things we enjoyed our stay in Lake Tahoe.

Great stay in Tahoe
Perfect size for our family reunion. Wish we could have had access to the home from a lock box. Roads to pick up key were stop and go. We contacted the property mgr regarding leaving the keys in the home and they were very nice.
Garbage was extremely full when we arrived, so there was not enough room at the end of our week. Had to leave it in the house and garage.

Perfect for families
We were delighted to stay at this property for our extended family vacation. It has great accessibility to Kings Beach. The living area is very large and great for gathering. The kitchen is also very nice and well equipped. I didn't realize there was no AC so it was a bit warm on some of the hotter days but it cooled off quickly in the evenings. Would highly recommend this gem!

Among all the craziness in the world, was nice to get away for a short vacation with family. The house was clean and cozy. Was a nice and quiet neighborhood with close walking trails and a short drive to the lake and town. Would stay again.

Great for families!
We had a great time here! There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 kids. There were even unused beds! Kitchen has everything you would want, big table for dining and a nice living space for watching sports or movies. Nice location, close to town, but far enough that you aren’t in the midst of all the tourists.

Beautiful home in Kings Beach
First time visiting Tahoe and stay was very pleasant. The home is centrally located, comfortable for a large family and near beautiful waters. Neighbors were also kind and welcoming. We did experience a few issues with the house upon arrival, notified Mandy @ property management and she quickly resolved next day. I was very happy to see how efficient and attentive the property management company is. We’re definitely looking forward to being back next year.
