Lovely decor and furnishing, clean and tidy with free parking near by.
This was related to our particular room only - because we were in the eves of the property, we had a loft skylight window, which we kept opened as the room was quite warm. This meant blinding daylight flooded in from the window opening, from very early in the morning. Front door to main building needed to be slammed to close properly. A few times we came back and front door wasn’t closed properly and anyone could just come in.

It was so lovely. Parking outside. Was shocked to see it was an apartment. Lovely lounge area with tv on the wall. Decor was nice, lighting, kitchen. Shower was massive. Honestly was so happy with it.

ALL TOTALLY WONDERFUL!
What can you say, from entering The County and leaving it, was one of the best stays we have had!
The staff are fab, the food is fab, the room was fab, need I go on!!!
You will not be disappointed if you visit / stay here, well only if you are brain dead!
Only bad thing was we were just here for one night! We went to the James gig at the arena and The County albeit a wee bit away from it, was not a bad choice at all.
If we are in the area again, this will be our go to!
There was absolutely nothing we did not like, not even a tiny wee niggle!

Food and service were very, very good

The service was excellent the room was great comfortable our only problem was it was on the second floor otherwise it was great. Breakfast and evening meal were served cooked very well. Would stay again if in the area
On the second floor and it was a bit of a struggle as I had pulled a muscle in my hip. If I had been well it would have been ok.

Staff were lovely, good food, enjoyed the Sunday quiz night, even though we came last.
Room was smaller than I expected, took some time to get the heating sorted, WiFi was a bit hit and miss.

Great location. Quiet. Clean/modern rooms. Lovely country pub for a drink. Separate building for the rooms and had a lounge you could use.
If you booked through booking.com, you had to pay separately for breakfast where as through their website, it was included.

The room was clean and well decorated.
We were in the attic so didn’t have a view, limited headroom and the lights once went out whilst we were descending the stairs.

Decor beautiful, staff lovely, room gorgeous, great shower, lovely little location.
Room was a bit hot and we could hear everything the other guests were doing in the next room unfortunately

A simple overnight stay between the end of a holiday and back to work. Really friendly staff, who were so helpful and welcoming. Great pub and we enjoyed the pub quiz!
The bed was a little bit soft for our liking, but overall the room had everything we needed.

Excellent breakfast and dinner plus good choice of ales. Friendly staff. Comfy and quiet room.

Lovely staff, very attentive and accommodating. Small attic room in an adjacent house, but nicely equipped. Found us a larger fan as very warm that day. Nice breakfast in the pub, although would have been included in the price had we booked directly with The County.
Air conditioning would be nice with the warm temperatures.
