About this house rental
Ansley Park is known for its grand homes, and this home is one of the nicest.
It features generous rooms, 11-foot ceilings, a cook's kitchen, 3 porches, and an attic suite. The house is about 5,000 sq. ft.
The pool and spa are totally private.
The midtown location is very central and is close to Piedmont Park, Georgia Tech, SCAD, High Museum, MARTA (Arts Center), and most of the white-glove law firms.
The ground floor features 5 big rooms. The large entrance foyer opens to the grand staircase. To your right upon entering is the library, which features a wall of built-in bookshelves. To your left upon entering is the formal living room, which then connects to the dining room. Perhaps the grandest room is the kitchen, which has a large island, a big seating area, a Viking stove, and lots of room for entertaining. Also on this floor is a screened-in sitting porch with a hanging bed, a side porch with a gas grill, and a generous Southern front porch. There is a powder room on this floor.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms and three full bathrooms. (One additional room on this floor is used as an owner’s lockup.) Rooms are large and well-lighted. As with the first floor, there are hardwoods throughout.
The fourth bedroom is in the attic. This is a fully updated suite with hardwood floors, skylights, and another full bath.
(There is a basement in-law suite rented long-term to a quiet student. It is fully separate and gives out only to the driveway, with no yard or pool access. There is also a house cat in the basement, and the cat sometimes makes an appearance upstairs via a cat door to the basement.)
Since these professional photos were taken, some redecorating has occurred, including upgrades to landscaping, walls painted white, and piano replaced by a 55" flat-screen TV with over-the-air and broadband programming (Roku, Netflix, Amazon).
There is parking for two cars in the carport. More cars can be accommodated, if they park in a line down the driveway.

A really special place in a great location. The house and pool are huge with lots of room for our party of 5. The property is very well equipped with lots of nooks to discover. The owner was super helpful, responsive and insightful. When I'm back in ATL- I'm definitely going to stay here again.

Great property in a perfect location
Wonderful host with great communication up front and then open and friendly all the way through. The property is large and very well appointed with everything we needed right on hand. Check in was a breeze and we were able to get takeout and a grocery delivery upon arrival so we could start the vacation straight away. The property is a short walk to some good bars and restaurants along with interesting spots like the botanical gardens and art museum. It’s also easy to get to the MARTA stop and onto two major interstates. If the host is willing, and the property is available, we would use this property on future trips to Atlanta without hesitation.

Lovely Historic Intown Oasis
We visited our old neighborhood (Ansley Park).. We now live in the northeast.. It was so great to be in Ansley and spend time with Friends and Family. The house was inviting, clean, the AC worked really well (you need that in August ATL!). The pool was inviting and tidy, the kitchen well stocked with all we needed for group dinners, the beds pretty comfy.. particularly love that 3 rooms are the 2nd floor together. Also, the 'attic' area is now finished with a lovely sitting area. The parking requires coordination if you have a few cars.. so plan accordingly (just that they stack up and some need to move etc. if anyone needs to leave). Overall, we had a lovely stay. We met the housekeeper/property contact Lucy and she was so sweet. Would definitely recommend. Oh one more thing.. love the detailed house manual. I know it's not meant to be funny but I still had a few giggles. I have rented my condo out in ATL before and I bet some of the items listed in the manual were bc/ they had to deal w/ these things.. for instance, please don't dye your hair on the property. I bet it's happened. LOL.. last thing... we found a box turtle out front.. very special. My son loved him. Thanks Hans for a great stay!

What a great stay!
The house is absolutely stunning with a great pool, comfy beds and stocked with everything you would ever need (except food, of course). The location is perfect, with great parks and places to grab a bite/drink within a mile or two. The owner (Hans) is awesome! He is extremely responsive and very helpful; quickly responding to messages and even sending us a guide of things to do and local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and again and again!

Great home
We had a lovely visit at this beautiful home. The backyard is a sanctuary and we practically lived in the screened in porch off the kitchen. What a great place for a family reunion! It’s in a stunning neighborhood. We had fun scootering around and playing tennis in the park. So easy to reserve courts!

Classic home in a great location
This historic house is spacious and centrally located for easy access to Midtown/Ansley Park/Poncey Highlands and surrounding areas. Rooms are large and the attic apartment is a complete living space. The owners were kind to have basic groceries available on our arrival and were highly responsive to questions during our stay.
