Property was lovely. Great for adults but also great for kids.

Perfect for us (2 adults, 2 young children) - but with more than enough bedrooms to have another 1 or 2 families there. Great weekend away on the cape. House is cozy, with everything that you need. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards with a quiet river that leads to the beach. We had a great time. Hosts are very responsive, kind and generous. Would stay again

Property and hosts were are at. Dawn and Steve are great owners. The home was perfect for our family if 4 plus our in laws to enjoy the beaches, River access, fishing, the Skipper and all of the fun the cape has to offer. Location was perfect as were the Kayaks and paddle boards that owners allowed property to use. House sleeps 12 comfortably. Great size rooms and ACs that did their job of cooling the house down with the East Coast humidity. Backyard was great, washer and dryer came in handy, access to the Parker River. Our family will be back and again Dawn and Steve were great with responding with texts and allowing us to check in a little early and out a little later. Highly recommend this property. Thanks for a great week!

We went in a girls weekend and the house was perfect. Location was amazing, so close to so many things to do, beach, kayaking, dining, shopping, mini golf, inflatable park ect. House was very clean with plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms to accommodate us. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook in, big dining table to fit everyone. Lots of comfortable seating. Very nice backyard with fun tiki bar and hammock! Easy communication with questions. We will definitely be back!

Great time on the Cape with family & friends! Property is well maintained and owner is very responsive. Great property for a diverse group. The Beach was within walking distance and the dock across the street for kayaking was super fun. The neighborhood is quiet and the area has good restaurants and other fun attractions such as Putt-Putt and an Inflatable Park. Everyone in my group enjoyed their stay!

Family trip
We stayed for 5 days at this house. It’s well furnished and clean. The house itself is dated, but it’s charming. The River activities are awesome, and we spent every day making use of the paddle boards and kayaks. The nearby beaches are nice and not too crowded.
The house itself is older and could use some updates. The main floor is dark and could use either more light or just a coat of bright paint on the dark wood paneled walls. The kitchen is small but functional. I’d suggest bringing all the ingredients you need because, other than actual cookware and utensils, there was pretty much only salt and pepper and aluminum foil. Many other rentals have spices, oils, and some more food storage options.
Overall, the house is nice, clean and spacious. You’re paying for the space and the fantastic location. Don’t come expecting a modern and updated rental, but a clean and functional home base great for an extended family.

Family vacation
This house was good for the intended purpose. It slept a large number of people and we had 2 families staying here together.
4.7
The house was very comfortable with plenty of sleeping options and several sitting areas. It was very private and we loved the dock area across the street. The beach was perfect, seemed private rather than public.

This house was in an amazing location. Easy drive to Hyannis. The house itself was very clean, but very dated. Lots of spiders. We didn’t really use anything in the yard. We brought our own corn hole and set it up in the road because there wasn’t a lot of yard space. Also, the outdoor shower was not someplace I’d probably want to rinse off in. Owners were very nice and attentive.

This rental is a short drive to several nice beaches. We loved having 7 beds in 4 bedrooms and a nice dining area and TV area. Some updating is needed on the main floor to make it brighter and in the kitchen and need better mattresses and A/C filters need changing. Kayaks were fun and surrey bike unique and fun outdoor shower. A good family spot.

Early June stay
The house was exactly as described. The owners were easy to communicate with and when there was a need to communicate with them, they responded quickly and helpfully. The limo bike and dock were great additions to the stay and added an extra element. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

We stayed in this property for a long weekend for a multi-generational family getaway. The house was very comfortable with plenty of space for our group of seven. The kitchen is well equipped and the yard is lovely. We had an added bonus of watching the bunnies frolic in the yard. Unfortunately, we did not have good weather so did not take advantage of the water toys that come with this property. Our only complaint is that the heat was not working, so the house got quite cold (I am guessing we were the first renters of the season). The owner was very responsive and sent someone right away to address the problem. The only other note is that this property does not come with bed linens or towels, so you either have to bring your own, or order from one of the local companies (which is what we did since we flew in) for an extra cost.

60 and Spectacular
I loved the property and the access to the water toys. The house was comfortable and there was enough space for my entire family. It's often tough finding a place to accommodate three generations. My son and grands rode around the neighborhood on the 6 person bike and that was cool. The only suggestion I would offer is updating the beds on the first floor. They were not very comfortable. We hope to return next year in the summer when we can take full advantage of the water.

We had a great stay. The kids had fun running around and enjoying the dock on the river. They loved kayaking, fishing, and listening to live music at the Yarmouth drive in across the way! The surrey bike was a big hit! We relaxed and enjoyed the area. Thank you!

Great home in spectacular location
Home and overall experience was fantastic. As advertised, nothing fancy, just a well maintained home in a great location on the Cape. Owners were great and very organized and responsive.

Amazing, beautiful, calm and relaxing
There are no words for how great the last week was for me and my family. My husband is deploying in the near future so this was a Last minute vacation and it was worth every moment. If I could change anything it would be to add a fire pit to the property but then again there may be restrictions to doing so.

Nice family property
Centrally located on the Cape.
Bike and boats were a fun extra.
Will re-visit with my family in the future.

Great location - central to everything!
This was a great location for our family – a huge plus was all the fun equipment that we could use on the water - The house had everything we needed for our weeklong family gathering

location and amenities were superb!,
The house was just the right size for our family of 8.
Location was wonderful. Short walk to beach and close to shopping and restaurants.
Having the dock access with kayaks, paddle boards and peddle boat was an added bonus.
We would definitely rent same house if we were to choose Yarmouth again

Great Cape Rental - Perfect for Families
Two families (4 preschool age and 4 adults) shared this lovely Cape home for one week at the end of July 2017. There was plenty of room both inside and out, the home was clean, had all the necessities, and we can't say enough about how much we loved riding the Surrey bike to and from the beach. AC units in the bedrooms also ensured a great night sleep for all! We plan to book this house again next year. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Great week in Yarmouth
We stayed along with one other family for a week this past summer and had a great vacation. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone and we were able to have all 4 kids sleep together in one room upstairs which they loved. The best part of the house is the location and ability to use the dock along with the kayaks, paddleboat and paddle boards. We spent hours over there every day and even saw a seal swimming up the river one day. We always spend a day at the Cape Cod Inflatable Park after breakfast at Keltic Kitchen, both of which are less than 2 miles away. We also loved Captain's Parkers, a bar/restaurant only a 5-10 minute walk from the house.

Second year renting this property
This is our 2nd year renting this property, 5 adults & 3 kids (a 4 yr old, a 2 yr old, & 1 yr old). The house is located in a very nice & quiet neighborhood right off Rt 28, close to beaches. The house was clean & is very roomy. More than enough beds (no bunk beds which is a plus for me), and there was enough room in the bedrooms upstairs to put 2 pack n plays, and still have room to move around. The kitchen is provided with everything you need, including a grill outside, for cooking. This year the picnic tables & tiki bar were set up different than last year, this years set up was a better set up. The outdoor shower is large & private, a big plus. Across from the house is a dock with kayaks, paddle board, etc for your use. There wasn't enough time to enjoy it all!
The owners, Dawn & Steve, are a pleasure to work with. They are very accessible with any questions you may have. Another great vacation at this property!

Everyone wanted to stay another week!
First off, working with the owners (Dawn and Steven) was very easy. Regardless of the questions I came up with, Dawn answered graciously. Steven happened to be there when we arrived and came over to introduce himself to be sure we were all set.
The property was well maintained and we had no real complaints. There are window a/c's in all of the bedrooms and the cross ventilation of the cape breezes kept the common areas cool enough in the evenings. Two bedrooms down and two up, worked out very well for us. Bathrooms were clean with decent water pressure and the outdoor shower is secluded enough to really be used. Our group ranged in age from 20 months to 89 years and it was great that there were no major obstacles for either end of the spectrum.
The Surrey bike was a big hit with the kids and the neighborhood streets are quiet enough to allow them to be at the controls. The paddle boat, kayaks and paddle boards were a lot of fun for both adults and kids. All of these "toys" really made the week memorable for the whole family. Each year we rent a different house in a different area on the cape and this is the first one that I've had some of the family ask if we could go back to next year. Might even take the studio on the beach (I'll be in touch Dawn).
There are 3-4 public beaches w-in 1.5 miles with our favorite being Bass River Beach since it never got overly crowed and has all the facilities. No where near as crowed as Mayflower (my old favorite), and you can set up close enough to watch the kids in the water. There are plenty of ice cream, mini golf, and trinket shops, as well as the Whydah pirate museum with-in a very short drive.
Thanks for a great week and am looking forward to next year.

Preview in person before renting
I took this rental without previewing it. This is one of those listings that once you arrive, you immediately get the listing on the computer to see why you thought it would be something different. The house is across the street from the owners main house (river waterfront), and you walk across the street and through their yard to access a dock you share with them. Your rental does not have a summer water view. Maybe peeks in the winter between the river front homes. Pros: 4 good size BR's; small boat/kayak mooring; 1/2 mile walk to local ocean beach; surrey pedal bike is fun. Cons: House is old and dark; living areas are small; Lawn is small and in need of maintenance; owners across the street. Overall: Overpriced if you do not need a boat mooring.

Wonderful Family Vacation
My Family and I (Husband, 2 Toddlers, Grandparents) just returned from a wonderful trip to the Cape. The house was in a perfect location, had everything we needed (and then some) and was a main contributor to the amazing vacation we had. We look forward to returning!

July Vacation
Our family rented this home - we were 7 adults & 2 kids (an almost 3 yr old & a 9 month old). The house is located in a very nice & quiet neighborhood. The house was clean & is very roomy, no one ever felt on top of each other. The upstairs bedrooms are very large, we had a pack & play in one of the rooms & there was still ample room to move around. The kitchen has everything you would need. The outside shower is large & private, very refreshing after a day on the beach. There is a tiki bar out back with a hammock, a bench, & 2 picnic tables. There is so much room inside & out. There are kayaks, paddle board & boat, a surrey bike for your use. There wasn't enough time to enjoy it all!
Most important, the owners, Dawn & Steve, were a pleasure to work with. If we plan a vacation next year, we wouldn't hesitate to rent this home or anything else from Dawn & Steve.

SOMETHING FOR EVERY FAMILY MEMBER
I stayed for a week with my daughter, four grandchildren, and two guests. Also had my 2 nieces join us during the week to complete a lovely family gathering.
There are many"best things" about this property. First, it is very clean and roomy. Second, it provides many things to make the vacation a pleasure. The kids all loved the kayaks and paddle boat, meeting in the backyard for a drink or a chat, showering out of doors in a very spacious shower.
The location is great. It is easy to get around the town and we found wonderful shops and restaurants. One week was just not enough time to do everything we wanted to do.
I forgot to mention the gracious owners! Dawn and Steve were wonderful and provided everything we could ask for. I would rent from them, anytime, anywhere!
