Clean , fresh well presented room.
Low noise from air conditioning units on the roof.
Shower fixed head over the bath not brilliant.

Beautiful building and location
and ample parking, well kept garden with a view over the stray.
I can’t fault it .
4.3
Great proximity to the town centre, lovely staff, lovely food, very clean room. Just generally a lovely place to stay.
Didn't find anything to dislike.

Just a lovely place
I needed to leave early and was looking forward to breakfast there but it didn’t start until 7:30, which was too late for me so I missed out
4.3
Lovely building and location. Staff were very nice. The food was very tasty and well presented.
Our room was rather small and we could get cold water no matter how long we ran the tap. However thst was a minor problem

Evening meal was very good. Breakfast was good. Lounge area was excellent.
Toilet was blocked in room. One of the lights didn't work. Room was a little small. There was an ironing board but no iron.

Great old hotel which has been completely modernised. Large, clean, comfortable, warm room with separate table and chair. All mod cons. Lifts worked quickly. Good breakfast in imposing dining room with friendly staff.
I was a bit surprised at having to pay extra for car parking.
4.3
Location and facilities
The self check out was a little confusing and had to do it twice to get into our room
4.3
Location, building itself
Bathroom not clean, Z bed for extra person broken, staff in dining room rude, one meal missing, one place setting missing for a family pre booked meal. Restaurant got the time wrong and as we were opening gifts as it was my sons wedding, the maitre d’ came over and said ‘´, clearly annoyed ‘your food is ready so are we opening presents now?’ - it was totally unnecessary and with one meal not arriving the whole dinner was considered a disaster . When I booked weeks ago, I went into the dining room and mentioned we were having a meal for 10 on the eve of my sons wedding and I was told that they’d make the table look nice - ´they’d put candles out’. There were 2 tea lights.

Location
Very dated needs an up lift, was in the room for 2 nights room wasn’t cleaned and beds made no change of towels and had to take a toilet roll off the cleaners station wasn’t worth the money

Location was spot on. We did not eat in the hotel

Lovely downstairs and the grounds! Nice feel to the place as you walk in! Very good location to Harrogate and the stray park
Room was tired the place could be make sooo nice! Bath tap dripped all night, phone port next to bed didn’t work, window full of condensation blocked view! Room size was good as a positive
4.3
The room was spacious and clean offering tea, biscuits and crisps.
On arrival, Amelia was extremely helpful; checking us in and ordering a taxi for us.
Having to pay for car parking was disappointing- £6 per night.

Absolutely stunning property
One of the group her Room 217 had a strong odour of dampness, although the other rooms were lovely
4.3
The hotel was good and in a quiet square in Harrogate. I was there to visit a very poorly friend - and my train was extremely late. The hotel staff were good at accommodating me for dinner. They sent up a tray and room service was very good.
I could hear the people in adjacent rooms - that was slightly off putting. Other than that I had no complaints. I slept well and left the hotel refreshed.
