About this house rental
Relax by the pool, eat your meals al fresco, and watch the sunset from this lovely home with open water views of Boca Ciega Bay. This is Florida living at its finest. Surround yourself with lush native Florida plants and enjoy the view. You will see dolphins, manatees, osprey, pelicans and much more from your back deck.
The back yard is directly on the Bay. There is a unique tiled pool, a lush open air outdoor shower with topical plants to add privacy, a shaded pergola to get out from the sun and a large open patio. There is a fence along the sea wall to ensure the safety of children. The front yard is very large with a winding stone driveway, over 30 palm trees and beautiful flowering native plants.
Inside, wake up every morning to a water view from the large master bedroom suite with 2 large closets. The newly renovated master bathroom has a whirlpool tub and rainfall shower head . The second bedroom is a light and airy queen bed suite and the third bedroom has 2 bunk beds - perfect for kids. The large open plan kitchen/living room has views of the water. The living room has plenty of seating and a large smart tv. kitchen has a large island with dining and tons of storage. There is also a "Florida room" looking towards the Bay for indoor dining.

The property was incredible! It's centrally located to great restaurants and incredible beaches. The size of the house and beautiful pool allowed versatility during our stay.
The owners were very quick to resolve any issues that arose and were proactive in making things right.

This house is in a great location, so close to Treasure Island and wonderful waterfront view.

This house would have been good if it didn’t smell so bad. Very strong odor of mold and mildew. We had the doors open when we could to get some fresh air. Also we had to cover the dirty couches with sheets before we could sit on them. Beds were not comfortable. Need to be replaced along with the couches.
The location, the view and size of the house were all amazing! Outdoor space was awesome!!
This property could be perfect if those issues were fixed.

The property was perfect for a family gathering. The view with dolphin, osprey and manatees thrilled us all. The pool was heated and delightful. Best vacation imaginable. Morgan the property manager was available and helpful.

The place had everything we needed. It’s in need of some new furniture in the living room and window repair in the master bedroom. The driveway needs some lighting as the main light was not operational. The pool area is in need of table umbrellas very hot in the afternoon and no shade.
We loved seeing the manitees and dolphins right off the dock. It’s close to many restrictions and shopping.

We had a great time at this property. The neighborhood was quaint and quite. The waterfront view was breathtaking and the pool was a nice added bonus. The owner was very responsive when we had a heating issue with the pool. I would recommend and would stay again.

We loved everything about this property. The location was perfect, the house and view is absolutely amazing. For the first time in my life I felt at home on vacation and we will definitely be back!

Our recent visit was the second time we stayed in this home. It has a great location in a quiet neighborhood. The waterfront view is spectacular. The hosts are very responsive and easy to contact. This home is comfortable with wonderful outdoor space.

What an amazing house! We have been coming to this area for 10+yrs and this is the BEST place we have stayed. Nice neighborhood, great location, beautiful & spacious house, pool was wonderful! We will definitely rent again next year!!

This is a wonderful classy home with lots of personal touches throughout. The outdoor space is amazing with a pool and quality patio furniture for enjoying the sunsets. The indoor space is great too with a huge kitchen, DR and LR. It was very comfortable for my family of five adults. It's truly a gem of a location being on the water in an upscale neighborhood close to stores and restaurants, and a quick drive to the beaches and downtown St Pete. Host was terrific and caring with great communication!

Overall, we were pleased. The house is in reasonable condition; same for the pool. The bay view was the best. Houses on both sides were in bad need of dock repairs. While it's not your owner's fault, It's still detracting from the overall experience. Lastly, Florida drivers rank right down there with Houston drivers: reckeless and rude.One visit was enough.

We absolutely loved our week at Jungle Terrace! The home was amazing, we especially enjoyed the backyard, pool and views over the Inter-Coastal. The location is just across the causeway from the beach and great restaurants, although, we found ourselves taking advantage of the home’s amenities most. Morgan was very responsive with any questions we had but we really didn’t need much due to the listing being very accurate We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach getaway and will likely be back ourselves as we visit the Tampa area regularly.

This house was super spacious and perfect for our family. Plenty of room to let the little ones spread out while the older one was swimming. Pool is so nice and overlooks the bay. The owner was super responsive to any questions we had. We would def stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy some quality time with the family.

Example $550 additional charges but there’s no explanation what it’s for. I paid more than $1,000 than the advertised price. No fees are refundable. Overall disappointed.

Wonderful Getaway!!
This house is in a very quiet upscale neighborhood surrounded by palm trees and native foliage. The yard is completely surrounded with trees making it very private. The view was spectacular, we loved watching the sunset every evening and playing in the pool in the afternoon. There are many things close by including a Target, Walmart, Publix, a mini putt course and two beaches, all within about 10 minutes. If you're planning to do the Pier, zoo, aquarium and Busch Gardens, you're within reasonable driving distance, 30-60 min. Within the house the layout is perfect and very spacious. The house forms a U shape and in the middle is the outdoor living space with three doors to that area. No matter where you are in the house you feel like you're steps from outside which was amazing. Within each bedroom there is a hamper which is very helpful and the laundry is located right outside the kitchen area in the garage - both machines are modern and worked well. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. The pool was warm and clean (there will always be a few leaves in there from the breeze but nothing you can't skim out quickly). The outdoor shower was great after playing in the pool or coming home from the beach. We were very pleasantly surprised by all of the kids toys and stuffies there for guest use, the kids loved it! And if you're stuck at home on a rainy day there are at least a dozen board games and tons of books to choose from! In terms of the kitchen there is a coffee maker and a Kurig. There is also glass food storage and the owner keeps it stocked with foil, sandwich bags and plastic wrap. There are plenty of pots and pans. The only thing I would say is that the oven is slightly smaller than the average size which won't affect you unless you had grand plans to serve up a Thanksgiving dinner (the turkey will fit but no sides). Otherwise the kitchen is HUGE with tons of prep space.
If you're planning to head to the beach Madiera beach is about 10 minutes away and Treasure Island is even closer. The owner has beach chairs, toys and a beach umbrella as well as a few cooler options. There are also plenty of beach towels. They also have two kayaks (and life jackets), two boogie boards and an inflatable for the pool which was fun. I think there was a paddle board there as well but we didn't use it so I'm not 100% on that. I can't say enough good things about this property, we really felt like we were at home and were so sad to leave!!

Wonderful family getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at Jungle Terrace. The property is immaculate, with great views, well appointed, excellent location (beaches handy drive, great boatramp options nearby, shops, etc). The hosts were great - had a minor hiccup with maintenance at it was promptly addressed. Highly recommended stay for families.

We enjoyed our Spring Break at this house. It was relaxing and quiet. A great location, within 20-30 minutes of many beaches and attractions.

I highly recommend staying here and experiencing the amazing view!!! The house was set up with literally everything you would need in a house aside from personal items. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful property
We enjoyed an extended stay at this home. The location is residential and private but not far from beaches and downtown. The waterfront setting is great and the view is expansive. The house is warm and inviting. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We plan to return to this property.

At low tide there are always a variety of birds just off the back deck looking for food. We had fun using the provided kayaks to paddle around the bay (my favorite part). We also enjoyed opening up the french doors during the day to breath in the fresh air.
The owners are super friendly and responsive. Because we stayed over Christmas, I choose to not bother them about the one item which needed attention which is that the kitchen cabinets need a deep spring cleaning. I let them know the day we were leaving so the could tell their cleaning staff to focus on that area. Assuming that has been addressed, I would give them 5 stars.

Enjoyed stay
Furniture was sparse and needs updated. No TV in living room and no cable service. Also what furniture was there needed badly cleaned and repaired. Pool area was great and included many amenities.

Quiet and peaceful getaway
Very sweet home located in a quiet subdivision. Backyard has total privacy and wonderful views of the bay! Our family loved the pool and taking walks with our dog in the neighborhood or to the beautiful park close by. The beach, restaurants and shops are a short drive away. The owner was super friendly quick to respond to any questions or issues! We would definitely stay again!

This is a great space with amazing views. The pool was my kids favorite space to hang and we would often see dolphins in the bay which made for very special moments. We left with very heavy hearts!

Wonderful month on the Boca Ciega Bay
We brought our elderly parents to this beautiful property for the month of February for an escape from winter during the pandemic. It was a perfect location and we had a great time.
The views from the house and back deck of the aquatic preserve were beyond as we woke up every morning to the sea birds fishing for their breakfast. Pelicans, herons, egrets, and cormorants were plenty with an occasional osprey and kingfisher. Dolphins on the horizon were delightful as well.
The grounds live up to the name of the neighborhood- jungle terrace - with an abundance of and great variety of trees. The neighborhood was quiet and charming.
The house was bright, open, and comfortable. We loved the large master suite with its water views.
The heated pool and kayak were perfect activities after our weekdays and beautiful beaches a great destination so close by in the weekends.
Morgan was an ideal host, friendly and responsive. We highly recommend this property.
