The room was clean, but the hostal is not in the centre of Humahuaca so getting back at night didn’t always safe though it was only a 10 minute walk. The welcome was so-so. The breakfast was bad: Nescafé, hard bread and rationed portions of jam and butter. The hostal is very pricey in comparison with better hotels in Salta and Buenos Aires. Indeed, it was much more expensive than an amazingly beautiful and comfortable boutique hotel in Salta (villa Vicuña).
Paying was also a problem because their card machine only accepts cards from Argentinian banks which are linked to National ID cards. I ended up making a bank transfer.
A better relation quality and price. This hostal is overpriced for the facilities it offers.

We have been transmitted to another Hostal. Apparently there was no room available and the new Hostal have been in the middle of nowhere and didn’t fit our expectations.

The place is beautiful, the staff was amazing, very kind.
It's a bit difficult to arrive with the car. We followed Google maps, but it would have been better if we had asked directions from the hostel.

Good location to the town and nice spacious living area.
Don’t get signal in the town and there was no one there when we arrived, so had to get wifi and sit in cafe until staff were there.

Outside of building looked nice.
Was unable to check-in as no one was there. Place was locked up. No one to contact.
Location is on a very rustic street. Very difficult to drive to. Is not near centro and some people could get frightened walk back to hotel at night. It is probably safe to do so though.

We stayed for one night in a double room and it was lovely. We’d definitely stay again! The other guests were super friendly and so were the staff. The room was spacious, bed comfortable and shower great too, all very clean. WiFi worked excellently. In a perfect location to view the mountains. Would definitely recommend.

The lady’s that worked there where nice
We asked if we could pay by card when we arrived. Unfortunately at the end of our stay. We could not pay by card. That made it really awkward. Especially because we needed to get a bus.

- you can pay with credit card
- The room was very noisy during the night (barking dogs...)
- the beds were very hard and old.
- The service was not welcoming or helpful.
