Just the job!

I arrived late. I had great communication with the owner regarding finding the key. He sends you a really helpful guide with clear photographs. This was especially helpful after 12 hours cycling. Loads of facilities in a very spacious flat. I was especially pleased that I was told in advance that I could lock my bike behind the locked entrance door leading to the courtyard and no bikes had been stolen.

The service is horrible! Check out is at 11am, the cleaning service simply opened the door at 10:45 without knocking or saying sorry which made me very uncomfortable. Then at 11am opened the door again without knocking and without saying hello, just like: “are you still here?”. I mean, seriously? Also they “kindly asked” the guest to bother and replace the bed sheets. Unbelievable. It was hard to find and unlock the key in the dark, it was +13 in the apartment up on arrival and took 1 day to warm it up in February. Do not recommend this place.

It is too far from inner city for a person without a car who must roll a suitcase, etc.

The coffee machine did not work; even after checking with the owner and making sure the steps were followed, it did not work. This was a basic problem because there were also no bakeries or cafes nearby.

I also didn’t like the two mattresses with ‘Ritze’ in the middle. Better would be one double bed or QUEEN. 👍🏼

Great place to stay!

It was a beautiful apartment with lots of space and sleeping options. Big TV, really nice kitchen, comfortable bed, big bathroom with a tub. Best place I've stayed in so far on my travels around Europe and was somehow very affordable. Not far from city center either.

The tram system in Magdeburg was a bit confusing as it didn't work on Google maps but we figured it out easily enough, also we could not find a washer or dryer but this wasn't a big inconvenience.

Generally everything was good just with the mentioned details.

Very nice, wide, comfortable apartment with nice balcony inside the building complex, silent. Excellent location. The host gave clear, detailed instructions, good communication, helpful.

We asked to prepare two separate beds, the host agreed, but only one double bed was prepared, so we needed to take care by ourselves. For me personally the bed was two soft and with space between two mattresses, where you fall in :)

Good to stay for short or longer time

Enough space for 4 persons, big rooms, big bathroom. Good location, only 15 min to go till Elbe. Shopping nearby. Easy to find parking space around the quartal.

Very good

The flat is in a great location with lots of restaurants in about a 5 Minute radius. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is big and clean. Nice balcony as well.

Only downside are the stairs up to level 3 and no Lift so if you have a lot of luggage it might not be too convenient.
