worst holiday ever paid for my dog and he could stay with us and paid for 12nights could only stay 8nights due to not be

it had good facilities and was clean.

although the host was very friendly and pet friendly the accomadation and location was not, nor did it have safe access to the property and the stairs were totally unsafe for adults and children. Had to have my son come and pick up my dog on the only holiday ever, also had to stay in alternative accommodation for the last 3nights as water came through the light in kitchen when grandson was in the shower, so was afraid to use bath or shower again. Apart from the 2gentlemen who live on the front it is clear the neighbours don’t want holiday makers there, was totally uncomfortable in the property so we got up early and got back about eight so we didn’t see them. The on street parking was very dangerous due to the speed of traffic and narrow street on a exceptionally steep hill that we usually had to park so far from the property.

Overall, hosts were very personable, cottage was cosy and well maintained.

Location is in a pretty village setting within walking distance to a historic pub selling good English beer. Cottage was easily heated up in the evening making it cosy and welcoming. Welcome pack was outstanding. Everything was there to make self catering possible for those who prefer to. Best value for money in the area.

I couldn't park outside the cottage most days which wasn't great due to the weather. Also the stone path and steps to the cottage need a good water blasting as were very slippy in wet weather. Due to being an old stone cottage wouldn't advise anyone with mobility issues to stop here as internal stairs were steep and narrow.

It served its purpose.

Our host welcomed us personally and could not have been more charming. A most generous welcome pack. A comfy bed and mostly lovely bathroom with beautiful tiled floor and an attractive modern victorian style suite. The shower head was good but the shower head support bracket was faulty/inadequate and did not hold the shower head in position.

The settee was the only "comfortable" seating in the lounge but it was not very comfortable. Dining chairs were wobbly and needed a handyman to tighten the legs. The upper handrail on the stairs was loose. Finally the location was challenging in a number of ways, steep hill, one way traffic

A brilliant stay, very comfortable, will definitely return and recommend Cottage in the Sky

Juliet was waiting to hand over the keys as we arrived, she was lovely. There was a fabulous selection of chocolates and prosecco in a basket to welcome us. Tea facilities in the bedroom as well as in the kitchen. The table was set for us to enjoy a meal at.

there was nothing to complain about or that the hosts could have done better. Couldn't fault the cottage in the sky at all.
