Great location, quirky little place with good facilities
The bathroom! A little too open plan with ill fitting doors, no ceiling and a blind for the window. Fine generally but.no privacy so your partner can hear and smell any movements!!

Fantastic stay at the Old Joiners shop, fantastic location, great conversion and excellent quality, very clean. We would certainly visit again.
There ought to be a small welcome pack, small milk, coffee, tea and a couple of biscuits.

Shower could do with an upgrade. It is modern but lacks power.
No hair dryer available.

everything was perfect, great little hideaway for a couple in a beautiful location . the old joiners shop was fully equipped for a self catering stay as well as being close to amenities to eat out . beautifully designed making the most of every inch of space

location is brilliant and the conversion from an old workshop has been done really well.
we loved this place and its clever use of the limited plot space and storage is a strength of this quirky little property, but its small size is also a slight weakness. True of most places in Staithes I’d guess.

A lot ! The design, the cosiness of the cabin, the location, the comfort and the interesting man who is a craftsman who works on his hobby making boats, the people ( with 2 exceptions see below) .
The instructions have a mistake in them . The Bistro on the corner is now an ice cream shop. Going past this caused us to end up in the harbour which in turn caused a local women to start effing at us and another one joined in with the shouting. They were VERY angry that tourists were down there in cars . It did throw us at the start of the holiday, so make sure you turn left AT THE ICE CREAM SHOP and DON'T go near the harbour in your car!!!!! ! However, the little place itself is super! It has everything you could wish for packed into a tiny space. I felt as though I was in an episode of Amazing Spaces!! . It made up for the wobbly start as did other very friendly people we met subsequently. Very creative design.
