I love the cool architecture. Industrial is great

I guess if you don’t like industrial raw and unpolished look. You’ll hate it. Price is higher. You pay for architecture

It was a lovely 2 nite stay cos I was drawn to the rustic industrial vibe of the property.

The location is great. The architecture and interior have a lovely industrial vibe, but it is a no-frills hotel without the usual facilities like a gym, swimming pool, and restaurants, so do manage your expectations. My room size was decent and comfortable enough though.

The layout of the bathroom. The sink is very small and the ledge is very narrow so there isn't much space to place your toiletries. There isn't any hook for your towel nor clothes so it can get a tad inconvenient when you shower.

The location of the hotel and the bathtub in hotel. The front counter soooo nice 😀

Awesome stay in stunning hotel, for a very cheap price.

Amazing design. Felt like we were in an instagrammers dream! Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Barista coffee available 24/7. Rooms small, but very clean. Great bathroom, however nowhere to hang towels which was odd. Obviously the designer look got in the way of functionality in this instance😆. Loved how they delivered breakfast to room in an insulated bag (as no restaurant in the hotel). Great idea. Overall, incredible hotel overall. Thank you SOF Hotel.

The distressed industrial style is excellent for Instagram but a bit demanding for regular traveller

The room was LARGE. Have never been in a room this big!

The room was LARGE but not very sound proof. Because of the balcony and probably frequent opening of the door, the air from the aircon smelt a bit funky. I can appreciate the common water machine in lieu of bottled water but asking people to go down to the counter with their mug for coffee is a bit much -- I don't want to go down in my pyjama in public to get a coffee in the morning. The light switches are camouflaged on a black panel and I had to call for help (I checked in late and was not in a state to do interior design sleuthing).

I like the hotel will always provide coffee and tea at the lobby for free.

i dont like is the check in time is 4pm which is too late. The earliest check in is 3.30pm. So I wish then can clean the room faster cuz their check out time is 11am.

Enjoyed our stay here in this beautiful hotel. FYI staff don’t speak English, which isn’t a problem but good to note if

really a relaxing stay. will come back again

it is really easy to find and within walkable distance from the train station. don’t worry about getting to the hotel with your luggages because it is quite easy to get by. it is also near bus stations for you to go around. the hotel is cozy and the room is clean. we also love the fact that there are water dispenser around the hotel.

not enough place to hang out clothes. because we were travelling during winter, it is preferred to hang our coat outside the wardrobe to “air” it.

Overall not recommended

The location of the hotel is near to Taichung main station. The interior design of the hotel is interesting.

The rooms were really small. The power points in the rooms were located beside the bed. No additional power points in washroom/ elsewhere and that was really inconvenient provided the bed side space was super small/none and we had to climb on the bed to use the hair dryer/charge phone etc. Carpark provided was located 3-5 min walk away, not convenient at all.
