Quaint on the Comal is a freshly remodeled, superbly elegant, 1 bedroom condo on the Comal River. This condo is the perfect place for that romantic getaway you have been dreaming about. A large picture window in the living room and sliding glass doors in the bedroom look out onto the Comal River. Enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine on the patio watching the river and wildlife. Less than a mile from downtown, you can walk to bars, restaurants, and theaters. Rockin' R River Rides is just down the street for your floating adventures. Or, bring your own tubes and walk across the street to the Garden Street bridge for a relaxing float back to the condo. Historic Gruene is a short 3-mile drive away, and the San Marcos Outlet malls are a quick 15 miles up I 35 for a day of shopping.

Cozy yet spacious, this romantic condo has everything you need. The living room has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with cable, and free wifi. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked will all modern appliances, coffee maker, and plenty of dishware, cookware, and utensils for dining in. You'll sleep comfortably on the brand new beautifully dressed king bed and enjoy plenty of room for your belongings in the large walk-in closet. The bedroom also includes a TV. You'll find his and hers sinks in the bathroom vanity and a stunning newly remodeled walk-in shower.

There is an assigned covered parking space for the unit, and the door is equipped with a digital lock that is reprogrammed with a unique code for each stay. No keys to keep up with! Arrive, let yourself in, and make yourself at home!

***Alternative terms and payment arrangements for long-term stays (30+nights) after Labor Day through the Thursday before Memorial Weekend. Monthly rate is $1800. Please email to inquire.

My grandmother arrived later in the evening in her car. Didn’t get to put a parking pass in it until early the next morning to find the car towed. Didn’t get any help with it. Took us all day to get it back with a $300 payment. Ruined our trip

The location of this condo is amazing. It was everything and more than what was described. Our check in was an easy process and even got lots of good advice from the host as far as things to do and see. Had one issue with breaker tripping on us twice however contacted the host and fixed the issue. We loved the fact you went across the street and put in with your tube and floated right back to our condo. Also, the fact we could walk to restaurants near by. Thanks for a great stay…. We booked this stay while in the area so we could float the comal. We ended up booking through a company for the full length experience, but had we had tubes, there was an option we could have walked to and went back up at the property. That option would've been about 30ish minutes at a time and would've worked great. Overall the place was nice, and had everything we needed, the bedroom was massive and the bed was comfy. Not sure what else anyone would need in a stay like this. The column for the covered spot can be close to the parking spot, but we were able to park a full size SUV next to the neighbors full size truck easy enough. We will probably book here again in the future!

We did not feel like tourists, we felt we were in our own private owned condo. Deborah the properry manager is beyond awesome, helpful, great communication, etc.... tvs were small, butthey worked. Maybe a rug on each side of bed for cold feet, but those things are so minor. You will not be sorry to stay here. We definitely found our new place. Love this place, loved our experience. Right on the river, close to everything, shopping, dining, or just feeling safe to be outside.

We stayed two nights while visiting relatives in New Braunfels. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Our favorite thing about it was the back patio, where one can sit above the beautiful Comal and listen to the owls in the trees across the creek. This is about as perfect a VRBO rental as I’ve ever stayed in.

Pretty much, everything was just as expected. The electricity went out for a bit but the host explained how to fix it. Nice location, lots of nice rental neighbors. Very friendly and quiet. Safe. I'm terminally ill and waiting for a transplant, so I'm trying to do as much traveling close by as I can before things get really bad.

We wanted a quick getaway from the DFW area. This was the perfect place. It's close to restaurants, shopping, and all kinds of fun places to visit. Since it was during the winter season it was nice and quiet, with a great view of the river. Deborah was awesome and took good care of us. I would go back again!

This was such a cute place and super close to everything! The bed was sooo cozy and Debra was wonderful from start to finish! Would recommend this place to anyone!! Our favorite part was that we could do a small float from the condo without having to go down the road. Such a great experience overall:)

My husband and I had the best time staying here on our honeymoon! Deborah was a wonderful hostess. She made everything so easy. Thank you for the honeymoon surprise that was waiting upon our arrival. The place was very clean and comfortable. We liked sitting out on the patio watching the tubers float by on the river and watching the squirrels and deer roam around. I’ll definitely book here again when I’m in the area. It was everything we needed and more.

Perfect for what we were looking for. Close enough to walk and get in the river to float back to the property. Nicely updated too. The complex was quiet and clean. I wish the grills would of been closer so we could of had a nice steak dinner, but we went for bbq instead. Really a great place to get away for some relaxation in the river and the pool is great too!! The host is super friendly and helpful with the queations we had. Check in was super simple. We will be going back for sure.
