This was our second time to stay at this property, and as before, it was very enjoyable. We love the home and the coziness it provides. One of our simple pleasures was walking down to the pier and feeding the turtles. Of course the charm of Mount Pleasant and Charleston make this such a great stay. Christy was easy to reach and even easier to work with. I would recommend this property to anyone.

The house was exactly as described and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. It would be nice if there was a little welcome sheet or book that included the WiFi password, little things to know, do and see nearby. Felt safe in the house. The beds were so comfortable and the house was decorated so nice.

My best friend and I stayed here in early April and were so happy with this rental. Read all the comments, so you won't be surprised that there are a few things that need to be updated. However, that won't cause me to give less stars. It was clean, very comfortable and in a safe neighborhood. We were only ten minutes from historic Charleston and about 15 minutes from Isle of Palms beach. Highly recommend!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed viewing the wildlife on Shem creek and dinner in the large dining space. Convenient and accessible to our plans at Patriot’s Point and Daniel Island. House was very clean and host instructions were clear. Would definitely return to this property if back in the area.

We had a GREAT vacation and this home was one of the main reasons! The home was large, beautifully decorated, and totally updated. Open floor plan was great for eating and socializing together. It also had EVERYTHING we needed and then some -- fully-stocked kitchen. The river in the back yard had turtles and ducks...it was so relaxing on the deck. Quiet area. Easy to find. GREAT location -- walking distance from many activities and stores, and a short drive to bigger activities.

The property was clean, nicely furnished, and felt bright, spacious and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. The location next to the creek was lovely and offered delightful views of lovely trees, hatching turtles, and an osprey. The host was responsive and accommodating. We would happily return.

Nice overall, safe neighborhood. Only made English muffins but found dirty broiler pan and rusty/dirty teapot. Walked to Shem Creek, Harris Teeter’s, breakfast places and Walgreens.

Loved our time in Mt Pleasant and this VRBO was perfect for us- 3 couples had separate spaces (2 shared the hallway upstairs full bathroom) and plenty of room. Fully stocked kitchen and everything was super clean. Thanks for a great stay!

This cottage was cozy and beautifully appointed and perfect for our needs -- we were five women meeting up for a long overdue girls weekend. The location was perfect -- only 10 minutes to downtown Charleston and just as close to Sullivan's Island. The owner was responsive when we needed additional towels and toiletries. We loved the turtles in the creek behind the house.

We took a trip with extended family and booked this house. Very nice and clean house, there were a few things here and there that you can tell it's been a rental for a while (chips on corners or table edges, broken washer handle, etc). I was pleasantly surprised with all the toys that were there, my son (2, almost 3), never got bored. Bedrooms were nice, beds weren't the most supportive, but we're used to that with rentals. The kitchen was AMAZING and I fell in love with it. Access to rental was easy and conveniently located to many stores and a short drive from downtown Charleston. I definitely would stay here again! Owners were very responsive to messages prior to arrival. 10/10

The electrical system is in dire need of repair! I was told to push the GFC button outside to reset bathroom electricity when doing it popped and I was shocked. Finally an electrician came to bandaid some of the problems we we’re continually having. This is a hazardous situation and should be addressed before renting again. Also the ice maker does not work and the water filter is well over do to be changed.
There we’re no towels left on the main level for the bathroom, thankfully we brought paper towels to put in there.
Also the garage is very musty!

House is located minutes from Shem Creek, beaches, and downtown Charleston. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is great for families. The kitchen was fully stocked with a propane grill. The house was clean, but needs a few minor repairs. The house is located on a canal which was also nice.

We were in town for a baseball tournament at The Shipyard. The location of this property was convenient to the tournament (about 20-25 minutes), the beach (about 10-15 minutes), shops, and restaurants. The house is adorable and very clean. The owner engaged in excellent communication answering any questions I had promptly. The bedding was comfortable with high end linens. The canal behind the house was full of turtles. My son tried fishing without luck, but was able to entertain himself with catching and releasing the turtles. I would absolutely stay here again.
My only complaint would be that the deck is very soft and in need of repair. It felt dangerous to walk on.

The house was clean and nicely set up. My 4 year old grandson LOVED watching the turtles in the creek. We had a great time and would book this house again when we come back for another visit!

Location was great, less than 15 minutes from Charleston, Sullivan Beach, and the Boone Plantation, 5 minutes from Shem Creek Park and the Shem Creek restaurants.
The appliances, washer, dryer, refrigerator, bar refrigerator, oven, microwave, and Weber grill were top of the line.
The house had more than sufficient space for six adults and one toddler, and had plenty of seating for meals, 6 at the main table, 3 stools at kitchen counter, and 4 additional chairs at a separate side table. They also had plenty of beach chairs and other beach gear in the garage. Having a stream behind the house, with a bunch of turtles in it was also nice. The 2nd TV in the Master Bedroom was also a nice touch.
Prior reviews identified some issues which still require correction. That being said, the property owner/manager worked with us to extend the length of our stay, allowed an early entry, and answered our questions quickly. The price was also good.
All and all we truly enjoyed our stay.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay while here in Charleston. Centrally located in between downtown Charleston, Isle Of palms, and the convention center. The home has everything you’ll need, even toys and games for the kids. I enjoyed having my coffee out on the porch every morning listening to the sounds of nature and looking at the river. The kids enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles. The rooms are decorated right out of a Pottery Barn catalog. The kitchen has everything you can think of, so you don’t need to bother bringing anything from home. The neighborhood is clean and safe for walking/jogging. The owners are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The home was perfect for our family of 4, quiet and convenient location to Shem creek and downtown areas. It was very clean with no pet hair or dust (important for those with allergies). Easy check in, everything as advertised. Will gladly stay here again.

Our friend Ann has wanted to visit the Charleston area for years. My cousin who lives in Mt. Pleasant suggested the area we stayed in because it is the midpoint of all we wanted to do while there. EVERYTHING we did was nearby including the beach, restaurants, Patriot’s Point, and Downtown Charleston…. The house was very comfortable and helped make the trip a success!!

Meh. Curb appeal 1 star. Gutters are clogged with weeds. Roof needs replaced or at a minimum a professional cleaning. Zero grass in the yard. Weeds growing on chinney stack. Deck absolutely unusable( all the wood is soft and covered in moss) The grill is from a yard sale in 1992. Skylights have 3 years of dirt on them. The entire house needs work. 2nd shower divertor leaks constantly and has ridiculously cheap hardware. The interior IS nice but a few pans to cook with would have helped.

My wife and I rented the property for 7 nights and were able to joined by my youngest son and his wife for 5 nights. The house met all of our needs and is in an area that allowed us to visit Downtown Charleston, isle of palms and many quaint shops and restaurants with short travels. Definitely worth the price!

We could not have been happier with our accommodations, everything was exactly what we expected. The place was sparkling clean and there was plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The location was perfect. We found many restaurants in the area that were amazing. If ever in the Charleston area again, we would stay there again!

We came in town to babysit our grand baby while our children went to a wedding. We had a wonderful time and the house was perfect for the three couples and a baby. The kitchen and the bathrooms were well stocked and there was plenty of room.
The beds were comfortable also.
The location is great too. Close to the Schem creek area.

This house is ideally situated for easy access to all the sights in Charleston. It’s an easy drive across the bridge to be in town. Patriot’s Point is very close as well, and loved having a Trader Joe’s three blocks away. Everything was extremely clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We would definitely stay here again.
