The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, well kept and has amazing views. We liked the decor and size of our rooms, the grounds of the hotel, tennis court, outdoor gym, kids and teen club, and beach. The staff is very friendly and kind. Everyone goes out of their way to exceed expectations, with a special thanks to Sara from Haute Living and Chara from Blend. Kids loved the different activities such as movie night and the bubble show at Core.
The private pools and main swimming pool are very cold. They should be heated a bit more to make them enjoyable during the colder months (October). We found that there was not frequent enough cleaning of the beach in terms of towels and food people leave behind. Some requests had to be repeated several times to staff but they always tried their hardest to meet our needs which we really appreciated.

Really nice beach area, beautiful clean water, outstanding views from anywhere in the resort. Comfortable beds. Attentive and kind housekeeping staff. Great F&B, room service a bit expensive but plentiful. Really enjoyed showers and locker rooms available which can be used when checking-out late.
Resort is clearly more geared towards family. Young-aged kids everywhere, so not as calm as we wished for. Room was an upgrade, but not as updated as I was expecting, could used a bit of a revamp. Bathroom was kind of vintage looking. Bit of lack of privacy in the outdoor patio by the room. Neighbors windows and balconies facing our "private" courtyard.

Fantastic location and beautiful resort.
Easy to get around the resort on golf buggies and staff were always friendly and helpful.
The room was really well designed and ergonomic with lots of facilities.
Food in the restaurants was great too.
The sea around the resort is beautiful and great for swimming.
Service was a bit slow around the resort - particularly in the main bar and several of the restaurants which seemed understaffed.
The beach was also a bit dirty with old food and cigarette ends scattered over it - could do with raking and cleaning occasionally. Also found lots of broken glass on it one day but the hotel were attentive about resolving this. Most of the tables by the loungers at the beach were sticky and dirty too.
Also didn't like the way that nowhere in the resort's restaurants or bars offered tap water and the cheapest option was bottled water at 5 euros a pop - this really starts adding up.

The views of Spinalonga from our room were incredible and the hotel itself is very beautiful and comfortable.
The staff were generally very helpful and friendly, and interacted well with our child.
The pool and beach are lovely and had comfortable sunbeds, plenty of towels, they also had a call button service that was very good.
Our son got step throat/tonsillitis whilst at the hotel, and was vomiting and had a fever, the reception staff upon our request called a doctor who was with us within the hour, they did give us regular updates as to where she was, and the pharmacy sent the antibiotics to us, and a member of the team brought them to our room, which was an incredible service.
We did speak to the guest relations manager over issues with the pool in particular, who was very apologetic and made sure that our issue was resolved.
Housekeeping and the turn down service were very good, and the team were very friendly and professional.
The only way I can describe the buffet restaurant was chaotic, it did not make for a relaxing experience, you often had long waits to get drinks, or get your own, we had to clear our own plates to make room, there seemed to be a distinct lack of little spoons which is a bit of a basic given there is yogurt, tea, coffee etc... we did go early in the season, so a lot of the staff were inexperienced, however there was a lack of leadership to oversee service. Also for a premium hotel, the food choices were limited.
We did dine in Blend, the food was good, however, we had to wait for 1.5 hours from when we first sat for our mains, which with a toddler was challenging, I did ask a few times where our food was.
We booked a room with a private pool, which although the view from was spectacular, it was very small, compared to some of our neighbours, and you couldn't really walk past the sun loungers without fear of falling into the pool. Also, the filter in our pool didn't work for 3 days, not through lack of trying from us after several phone calls and visits to reception, which left it unusable due to debris and flies.
We booked an airport transfer through Domes, we requested and received confirmation from the hotel that there would be a car seat available for our little one. We were met at the airport and the driver immediately noticed that we would need a car seat, which he did not have. He showed us his booking confirmation, which said we didn't require one, so we had a long delay whilst he tried to borrow from other companies. We also could not fit 3 cases, and a buggy comfortably in the car, so we had to book a minibus for the return.

nice views from one side over the island - if your villa is that side (ours wasn’t). nice beach, though small sand part and rather cramped in high season.
hotel is very large spread over large area. feels like two different hotels shoved together with new modern part not really fitting in with the old. transport around the hotel is poor with golf buggy’s needed to get from one side to another and regular 15-20 minute waits. didn’t feel personal at all (felt part of large international hotel group, which it is). our room had a very bleak view and was so incredibly windy out balcony and plunge pool were barely useable.

Good facilities and helpful staff
Nice food
Clean rooms
Core rooms are far from the beach/resort areas
Noisy air conditioning in rooms
Gym is poorly equipped

Adults areas not really kept clear of kids

Exclusive location quiet and away from the hectic beach town of Elounda which is not too charming.
The reservation and restaurant system is and over abundance of administrative work.

Haute Living was an great extra for food and drink.

Staff and hotel were lovely. Food was great with decent variety of choice.
Our hot tub didn't work and the pools were freezing cold. The kids pool should have been heated at the very least.
3.5 / 5.0
The resort had lovely views and rooms were luxurious and spacious.
it’s quite a large resort which can be a problem when trying to get around by foot. it was also much more family oriented than I had anticipated. I’d probably opt for one of Domes adult resorts next time.

really fab staff that bent over backwards to accommodate our baby who is dairy intolerant. We were stunned that they had bought him special yoghurt and spreads.
the baby cot was excellent with a proper mattress.
food was pretty good. some days excellent and some days average.
the one bedroom set up was just amazing so we could put our baby to bed in the lounge and then not have to worry about using the bathroom/ watching tv/ being out on the patio.
for the baby/kids food there could be a bigger selection. it would have been good to have always offered plain pasta and plain boiled/steamed veg without oil and butter.
there was a 7 euro Prosecco which was horrid and a 25 euro glass of champagne and nothing in between. would have like a nice cava or cremant.
our hot tub was cold for 4 days. there were ants in our room but this was resolved very quickly.
the on site restaurants (other than the included buffet) are expensive.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff is very friendly and service minded. Surroundings are beautiful, view is spectacular, plenty of ammenities, beautiful tenniscourt, pilates on the beach, nice heated pool, good choice of restaurants. Nice, spacious rooms with an outdoor jacuzzi.
Everything was perfect, we will defenitely come again. If you like a view, chose a room with sea view, it's defenitely worth the money. The garden view rooms are not as nice.

- Pricing, 1400e for 4 nights for all i mentionned above is NOT OK
- jacuzzi in the room is good but right front of neighbor door?
