Very wonderful stay all round.

Location is perfect. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was wonderfully , large, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast had a great variety and tasty. Garden flowers are amazing.

Very disappointing in value for money.

Location was lovely. Lovely furniture

Spa bath did not work. Breakfast not included in expensive pricing per night. Cleanliness not the best.

The hotel is really well run and managed. It is in top condition all round. The staff are most friendly and helpful. They are going the extra mile and not just pretending to do. It was a most pleasant experience staying there and we will be back.

Dinner at the restaurant was a bit tired. We had Gnocchies which arrived on the table within 2 mins from ordering. We didn't hear the ping though.... The menu is a bit too small. Would not go back there on my next visit. Breakfast the next day was excellent again.

Lovely night away

The view was great, the staff were friendly and the room was beautifully refurbished. The bath was amazing!

The breakfast staff seemed uninterested. The Chef was lovely though.

Lovely position on the coast and worth another visit.

Nice breakfast, well presented and prepared. Room was a bit cold with no heater. Partial view of the sea was good. The staff were welcoming, friendly and most helpful.

By it's rating it should have had an inverter and provided heaters

This hotel is an absolute gem - a real pleasure to stay at.

Really beautiful artistic decor, extremely comfortable room, superb scenic view from veranda. Excellent, helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to friends.

Misty Waves was Awesome. We will definitely visit the Hotel again.

The staff at the facility was very professional and friendly. Upon check in we received a complete briefing session from Siya regarding all the rules, regulations and facilities at the property. We were also assisted with our bags regarding taking them to the hotel room. Misty Waves were able to keep the lights and the wifi running during each session of load shedding during our 3-night stay. The wifi was very stable during our stay. We stayed in room 505 which had a beautiful view of the seaside. Me and my wife informed the staff that it was our 1 year wedding anniversary and the hotel provided us with a rose pedal room, chocolates, cupcakes and complimentary sparkling wine. This was all arranged through Siya and the rest of the staff. Thank you for adding a special touch to our special day. I especially enjoyed the fact that the hotel has both a cold and heated pool that guests can enjoy. We spent one afternoon lounging/relacing at the pool area reading our books and having drinks. We enjoyed the quiet serene atmosphere the hotel has to offer. This was also the first Hotel that we stayed in that had its own private cinema. We made use of the cinema with the help of Siya and the rest of the staff. The staff really caters to the guests to the smallest details, from the sprinkles on the popcorn to the volume of the movie that you are watching. Overall, it was a great experience with many services and treatment that you do not get at other establishments. Based on my experience I can highly recommend Misty Waves to others seeking accommodation in Hermanus.

Abrupt/Rude staff during arrival. Bathroom part of bedroom. Emergency lights on all night in bedroom. Neighbours aircon made noise on our balcony. Penthouse not good value for money

Excellent is an under statement. We going back because we did not get a chance to do the cinema

The breakfast was good. It would be great to have variety though unlike the same thing everyday.

I liked the reception by Siya, the young man who works at reception at night. He gave us a warm welcome and we enjoyed his company throughout our stay even though it was on short intervals. He is passionate about his work which made our lives easier. Lee Anne was a cherry on top 😎 I stayed in January 2023

Excellent hotel with lovely staff and would stay there again.

Very comfortable room with lovely sea view which we got upgraded to with a nice balcony. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good too. Nice position with an easy walk into the centre of Hermanus.
