Great location near Blijdorp ZOO. Very good connection to the city center. Reliable wi-fi. Coffee machine and kettle available in the room. Parking fee only EUR 4.

The hotel looks great but when you have a closer look then it is becoming a bit shabby - carpets, sheets etc. Nothing really bad but not what you would expect from a 4* hotel.

The reception 2 women were not kind we had traveled over 24 hrs and had to wait almost 3 hrs for a room. They never even came to us to help or offer us a water we told the reception man the next day. It was awful. We had to check out at 4 am. We have stayed in many vanDerValks over 30 yrs This was the worst the morning man said it should never had happened. They could have accommodated us easily. Just nasty to 2 senior citizens

The hotel is a little bit run down. the carpets in the corridors are dirty and are full with stains. We arrived at 22.30u at the hotel and we got a room which was dirty. We asked for another room which they told us was not available. They proposed that we waited for the room to be cleaned. Eventually there was another room available. by then the idea of having a nice relaxing evening was gone.

ok enough hotel, if you're not planning to stay in the hotel itself.

overall it's a pretty much run of the mill hotel on the outskirts of the city. a big plus is the closed off parking venue just across the street of the entrance.

Staff (other than the girl when checking out) seemed very uninterested in doing their jobs. Especially the bar staff that was just basically standing around talking to each other rather than helping customers. Also it's incredibly unprofessional to have staff run in and out of the kitchen to snack on food.

It's on weekend some one knocking at your door the cleaner was terrible and couldn't manage to go back to sleep

position of the room (120) towards entrance. too moist because smokers. should put them further away or put business people at other side. when I called reception to change room they said hotel was fully booked…can hardly believe that with almost empty parking lot. the rest of stay was ok

Central located in Rotterdam, easy accessible from high ways. Good parking place for low costs

As mentioned earlier visit : temperature in room is hard to regulate.
