- Friendly helpful staff
- Good location. 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to Malaga by Uber/Bolt
- Food was ok. not amazing but ok.
- Beach access proximity to restaurants and activities and town was great
- Horribly, unbearably slow check in process. took just over an hour from joining the queue.
- Rooms have only one socket. It is on one side of the bed nothing by the desk or on the other bedside.
- Kettle in the room not plugged in and no socket to plug it in by the table.
- No chair in the room

The hotel and staff were great, and so was the main floor and facilities. Being across the road from the beach was gated access back in to the hotel was ideal. Food was good and a decent selection. We also enjoyed the bar near the pool with the stage and evening entertainment
The pool had a mad scramble every morning for people to reserve sun beds and there wasn't much room around the pool if you didn't get a sun bed, we gave up and headed for the beach. As i mentioned the food was really good but pretty much the same every day. The room we had was small, it was clean, and although slightly renovated you could tell it was an older building, even more so in the corridors which felt a bit hospital like, quite a contrast to the main floor of the hotel which was very spacious and modern, but overall it was a good place to stay
5.0
The rooms were spotless, staff were friendly and helpful and everything on your door step and drinks/food was great value for money
I couldn’t fault it. Maybe more entertainment in the hotel but we did stay early may so that was probably to be expected

Muy masificado comedor y estancias comunes
La masificación del comedor , mobiliario muy junto y exceso de personas en el interior

Fantastic hotel that had everything we wanted and needed.
Staff - all friendly and helpful
Rooms - spotless, spacious, comfortable and great amenities including bathrobes, toiletries and balcony
Pools - plenty to choose from (including indoors), lots of loungers, clean, well kept
Restaurant - staff excelled in keeping everything moving / stocked up. Great choice of food, all fresh and tasty
Beach - a minute's walk from the hotel
We went out of season so the entertainment was inside, rather on the main stage. This meant there weren't enough seats for everyone, but we just enjoyed our evenings on our balcony
4.5
Spacious resort with many facilities in different sides of the property. Perfect for families.
Some small group of young boys making noise after midnight. Hotel should prioritize families not young boys (19 20 years old i guess) in big groups.
3.5

The facilities were amazing
The aircon was complex to operate

Literally nothing
Noisy, crowded, and unclean, you literally need to pay for each facility, when you use the safety box you need to pay for it, as well as the deckchair on the beach.

The staff
Extremely crowded. We couldn’t use the pools because it was like 3 times the capacity of the arra

The food, one waiter in particular who spoke English and was very helpful with gluten free requirement

Location was really good for the beach and restaurants and bars.
View from the room was brilliant (even on the 2nd floor).
Sleeping space for a family of four, large balcony.
18 minute walk to the train station La Colina to get to Malaga Centro, but it was pleasant (uphill going, downhill back).
Wasn’t able to get a late check out but had access to a room to allow us to freshen up before heading to the airport.
The 2 main pools at the back were very crowded so we never got round to using it.
2.5
Good location and nice pools
Very noisy, walls very thin
Bathroom was old and had broken and loose tiles on the floor, shower had to be fixed on day 1.
Only one plug socket in whole room.
Guests had done the normal and covered all the sun beds by 9am with their towels and gone back to their rooms.

Great location, close to the beach.
3.5
I loved the location. close to restaurants, stores, beach.
walked at night and felt completely safe in the neighborhood.
The place could use some updating. The floor in the room we got had some broken tiles. It was not very clean. There was a good amount of dust under the beds, headboard, and lamps.
There were mosquitoes in the room and we got bitten all over. I have stayed at the Melia hotel in FL before and loved it, so we decided to give sol principe a chance but were disappointed.
