Location.
Rooms and decor are tired.

Breakfast was amazing! The variety was fantastic and everything tasted so good! The fruit and pastries were just delicious!!
If the spa could’ve been included in the stay or the price of treatments been less then it would have made the stay even better

very comfortable. All staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Well situated for the gondola, with free ski lockers very close.
That we had to leave. Bedroom was slightly over heated.

everything. the hotel, the food, the location, the friendliness of the personnel.
i think they should really ban mobile phones from their spa area. it does not work to say you can take your phone into the spa area, but you cannot take photos. people are not respecting that and the personnel then has no means. I saw several people walking into the pool, holding up their mobile phone up and Turing it in all directions and then saying that they do not film and do not take pictures. but why would they then do it for? i think it’s a pity that people cannot put their phones away for two hours. while they should be relaxing and thinking about other things. the sleeping rooms could deserve a refresh and I must say I found the team leader of the waiters a bit harsh with them during the week we were there. they were doing their best, trying to serve well and being friendly and we felt very well served and he was frequently barking at them nonetheless. I think with a bit more empathetic approach he could form a better team spirit.

Love soldeu

Excellent kids club - our son loved it. Good location.
The rooms are badly equipped and in desperate need of decorating [there was wallpaper peeling from the wall and curtains hanging off rails]. Breakfast very poor and unappetising - rancid milk on offer. Extremely poor value for money. To enter the spa: €40,

good location, nice lobby area.
once through check in and up to the hallways and rooms you realise this is far from a four star hotel and is in serious need of some modernisation.
I stayed here in 2008 and it hasn’t had a thing done to it. the carpets in the room whilst clean have cigarette burns in and are cheap in appearance. the bathrooms once again clean but very old fashioned. small single beds with fairly uncomfortable mattress’’. All of this would be fine if it was a cheap option but it just isn’t.
It seems it is living off the back of its newer and higher end sister hotel across the road.
in short it needs an upgrade.
As a parting shot it would also be nice if the man hammering steel Acro’s all day long at the rear of the hotel was not there !

Breakfast was superb. Fantastic location very close to lockers, lifts, and ski rental area.
It would have been nice if the hotel offered dinner options. We were offered a buffet dinner at the same resort across the road but for an expensive price of €50 euro.
No water in the rooms. When we asked for a jug of water we were charged €12 for 3 small bottles from the bar.

The location is great just opposite the gondola and locker rooms close by too. The hotel is lovely, big bar area and very impressive, breakfast is great with a variety of everything.
We were bed and breakfast and thought we would upgrade each night with dinner, however for the buffet dinner it is €47pppn which for a buffet dinner seems a lot when you can have a great meal down the road for around €50 total including drinks (which is what we did after the first night as you aren’t told the price of dinner unless you ask). The rooms are tired, the communal areas are beautiful but our bedroom was tatty in places with broken skirting board and a radiator that had had the rust painted over. The other disappointing point was the spa isn’t including you have to pay €42pp each time you want to use the spa, so we only used it once as felt far too much to pay on top of the money we had already paid just to be in a ‘spa hotel’

The hotel was close to the lifts up to the skiing.
I paid £980 for a room facing a building site...a crane was literally 10ft right outside my window.
Plus I was asked to pay an extra 40 euros per day (200 euros in total...for dinner)
A member of our group booked the same thing....directly with the hotel.
He paid £100 less than me...he got a room with a mountain view, and a balcony to walk out onto. Plus he had his dinner included....he paid a total of £885.
This is an absolute disgrace.
