Friendly and helpful staff, great location, nice look/design
Small things like big bulky keys to the rooms (not digital), no elevator, but my main issue was that you can hear everything in the other rooms and from the stairs

All staff are exceptional friendly and helpful, location is perfect and the room is very elegant and in keeping to the hotels age.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but 2 days we had to have breakfast in the restaurant and not on the terrace due to the weather, unfortunately I didn't like the restaurant as it was very cramped, but I understood why they had to use this room due to the size/layout of the hotel.

Super central location, nice staff, good breakfast choice. Private closed parking is 5/10 min walk away but they provide shuttle service which is great. Rooms are cozy and the building is very nice and historical
The curtains were not completely black out and light was coming in early morning (we had a loft / attic room with window on the roof), would be great if you could have blinds or curtains cutting off light better. Also, there is no restaurant so you cannot be have cooked food except for breakfast, not a big deal because there are restaurant / bakeries nearby

the staff was excellent 10/10. the breakfast was alright and served on a nice rooftop terrace.
we thought the parking was included in the price and were surprised at the check out that it was 20€ per day. that's pretty expensive for parking. other than that, it can get noisy because of creaky floors and thin walls.

The staff were extremely helpful as they picked us up from our ferry and took us to pick up our hire car when we left.
My wife and I are vegan and the breakfast here was the best we had through our trip.

We super enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Rovinj. A medieval monastery that has been appointed beautifully as a charming and comfortable hotel. The staff are very warm and friendly, laid back and made our stay perfect. The coffee and breakfast service is outstanding - high quality and lots of variety. The hidden garden courtyard is peaceful and lovely; you really feel like you are stepping back in time here. Rooms are decent size, squeaky clean and very comfortable. We loved our stay here - thank you for your hospitality!

PERFECT. Breakfast was the best! Better than in 12 hotels in Italy in 2 weeks. Staff all very congenial, attentive, and prompt. I let them know I would be arriving by ferry, and was surprised by a staffer who showed up and gave us a lift to the hotel, half a kilometer away! And when I left, they gave me a ride to bus station, too. And they all speak perfect English
Room lighting could be a little better.

Great location in between the church and the main square / waterfront. Rooms are small and because it’s an old building, can hear noises from people walking up and down, but didn’t bother us.
Staff also accommodated us with early breakfast as we left early.
Do note that the hotel is located in the old town where cars are not allowed in. but there is a buggy pick up that can be arranged to get to the hotel from the main roads.

great staff provided us a lot of recommendations around town.

We stayed at Hotel Angelo d'Oro for 4 nights in September 2022 and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We arrived to Rovinj via ferry from Venice and were picked up from the ferry terminal in a golf buggy for a short ride back to the hotel. We were warmly greeted by Adriano at Reception who set the benchmark for the exceptional care and help that we experienced during our entire stay by all the staff at Reception. The Reception team answered all our questions with thoughtfulness, and looked up information for us so we could catch local buses to various towns, they booked us into restaurants and went above and beyond with all our queries. Morana was particularly helpful too and clearly loves helping guests.
Our room on the top floor and overlooking the water was spacious, well furnished and the bathroom was refreshed daily including mopping of the bathroom floor each day. The Oliva del Mediterraneo toiletries offered were the nicest we experienced during our time in Croatia (staying at 4 other places).
The location in old town was perfect for enjoying the old town and was a simple walk to the bus station, boats and markets. The hotel has produced a detailed map including useful restaurant recommendations.
The breakfast buffet had a decadent range with lots of different meat, fish, cheese, bread, cereal, salad and fruit options, and desserts. They have a delightful courtyard to enjoy breakfast too.
We were extremely impressed by the professionalism but also warm and personable staff - Hotel Angelo d'Oro was our favourite place we stayed at in Croatia.
