big rooms, great staff, tasty food, great location

good central location - close to railway & old town & only 20 mins walk from the waterfront. lovely large bright rooms (some with balconies) & very clean. staff couldn’t do more for you & are all super polite and helpful. breakfast is lovely - a tonne to choose from & all very tasty.

can get a little noisy in inside rooms near the lift

Superb

Perfect location, quiet area. Good view over the hole city from one side. And a beautiful view over a big park on the other side. Friendly, helpful and serviceminded petsonals. Good, delicious and variable morning breakfast. I could freely use a good bike. 😁 I have been there before. I feel always Im home. It's my favorite hotel. I will come back again. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast room is very nice and spacious, relaxing and with a great selection of different breakfast items. The view of the park is beautiful: the green area surrounding the hotel is very relaxing. Nice view of Aalborg from the fourteenth floor

I thought the parking was free for customers, but instead I got the final surprise payment (I didn't have any info about it). I would have liked to know the parking price first, highlighted on booking

Overpriced for basic, worn out hotel

Great location, easy walk into the centre and just a few minutes from the station; helpful staff; vegan/ non-diary milk and butter available for breakfast.

Room was old, run down and dusty/dirty; loud traffic noise; some crockery was dirty at breakfast; poor water pressure; no tea/coffee facilities. Overall the stay was ok, but this hotel is overrated and very poor value for money.

Room was sold as a luxury but did not come close to that.

It was quiet in the room. The staff were helpful and I have no complaints about anyone. The food I was served in the bar restaurant was fine.

The bathroom was not cleaned properly and there were many small places in room where scratches and stains had not been fixed or removed. The coffee machine worked poorly. The breakfast prepared for me at 5 AM was there on time, but it was scanty and poorly prepared. The TV screen was small, and the station selection quite limited in both Danish and other languages. Overall, I had the strong impression that maintenance had been deferred and that management was skimping on that front.

Allborg is an interesting city and the Comwell Hvide Hus the place to stay

The hotel is a 14 storey block situated south-east of the railway station in a delightful park. Very modern construction with reasonable size rooms although they are more designed for conference stays rather than tourist stays of 3 nights as in our case. Good quality bathroom with strong shower but limited area for storing clothes. Having said that I am sure they represent the best that Aalborg has to offer and it doesn't stop me recommending the hotel. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and went out of their way to please.

The hotel was a 20 minute walk from the main restaurant area of the city so we would have appreciated an in-house restaurant with a more extensive menu. The breakfast, however, was very good with a wide selection of goodies on offer.
