Agréable, calme et bien situé

Excentré et calme, spacieux et bien aménagé. Accueil très sympa.

A revoir de jour sous le soleil.

Le logement est spacieux, confortable et bien équipé.

L'arrivée de nuit (20h15) et sous la pluie dans des allées très mal éclairées ce qui ne permet pas de repérer les numéros des bâtiments et des appartements sauf si vous avez votre téléphone. Les trottoirs gorgés d'eau, non éclairés avec des trous, des flaques et des fossés qui font de votre trajet entre le parking et votre hébergement devient un vrai parcours du combattant quand vous arrivez avec une valise à roulette sous une pluie battante !!! Les économies d'énergie en limitant l'éclairage c'est bien mais c'est contraire à toute sécurité.

Le potentiel du domaine, avec la piscine, le château gonflable, les table de ping pong, l'indépendance du logement avec la petite kitchenette.

Le manque d'entretien du logement (assez mal vieilli), La literie, très creusée et usée. Les chaises de la salle a manger, décolorées et usées qui font sale, le reste d'une odeur de tabac froid dans le logement .

Vacanza nel verde ad Amboise

Ottima posizione nelle vicinanze dei castelli della Loira. Struttura immersa nel verde con piscina, ping pong e giochi per bambini. Gli appartamenti sono spaziosi e dotati di cucina. Ampio parcheggio.

Idéal pour quelques nuits de repos entre 2 visites, pas plus

Emplacement idéal proche des grands axes et des châteaux à visiter. Décoration et ménage soignés. Mobilier de qualité

Manque d'équipements interieur et aucun mobilier d'extérieur (pas même de quoi étendre le linge). Piscine non chauffée. Tout est fait pour limiter les bruits extérieurs ce qui en fait un village fantôme un peu angoissant

L emplacement. Le fait que l on puisse garer la voiture

Odeurs nauseabondes provenant de la salle de bains. Pas de volets au rdc donc impossible d ouvrir la nuit pour aerer. Impossible de manger sur place tellement l odeur etait ecoeurante. Moquette sale.

Le sol était collant ! Il y avait une araignée au niveau du meuble de la télé. Nous avons galère à retirer le bouchon d'évacuation de la baignoire.

A good stopover but I wouldn't stay there much longer than a night or two.

The location and access to a swimming pool. The breakfast in a basket, although an odd concept, was very good and there was plenty of it.

We've stayed at this property before, quite a few years ago. It seems nothing has been done to it since. It looks very tired, the bathrooms especially need re-doing. The decor, curtains, bedspreads, could also do with a refresh. The whole site feels a little odd now that there is no restaurant. It's a huge place with no atmosphere, and not a lot of shade on a sunny day.

Central location with loads of comfortable space to relax.

Great location, closer to Amboise than we expected. We were able to walk into the town quite easily (although would maybe be too far if you had children, or elderly with you). The apartment was spacious & well equipped. Would be great location for groups of friends/family to rent together.

I did not understand that there is a short period of reception being opened and you are supposed to book a ‘late arrival’ if after 18hrs.

Underwhelming.

Location was convenient. Check-in was easy.

Was very cold and heating downstairs (duplex apartment) didn’t work. No working (either didn’t fit or wasn’t one) in kitchen sink or bath which made washing up and bathing the kids impossible. No kettle provided. Was clean but dated with peeling walls, brown grout and lots of scuffed paintwork.

Nice unit- newish

Warn travelers they must have a car- we arrived via train and no taxi available. A passing couple took us 5 miles to Balligio in their car. No restaurant nearby but you can buy takeaway food to prepare in your unit. No wifi in room but in lobby which closes at 8 pm.

Calm area, comfortable cottage close to the centre (by car)

The cottage was on the ground floor, so we can go outside quickly with the dog. Calm area, few min far from the centre. The bed was really comfortable!

A little bit old-fashioned, the carpet has some patches, the freezer’s door was broken -> all out staff frozen in the morning (they knows this issue already, but not informed us)

Poor maintenance

There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. Front desk said they knew about the problem but “the owners wouldn’t do anything about it.” No solution was offered: maintenance did not come to check the extent of the problem, no alternative room was offered. As a result, we didn’t feel comfortable in this accommodation, and spent as little time as possible in the bathroom, to avoid the eyesore and potential health hazard.

Passable

We use villa Bellagio as a stop-over to break the journey: it works for that purpose as long as you just sleep in the room: reasonably priced, clean sheets, adequate size of the apartments, quiet location, proximity to the town. Friendly reception staff.

everything else is mediocre (unfortunately): stained carpets, crumbling paint, design of some apartments (2 glass doors in the ground floor apartment and no window - how do you sleep at night at +34C? - with all doors open??????), the whole set-up of the grounds and the main building. Make sure you have your own soap and shower toiletries - none supplied in the room, although, the worst case scenario, you can ask at the reception and they might give a couple of pouches.
