Everything, but specially the pool! The garden and green space is very quiet. After a day in noisy Bangkok, it is possible to relax there.

Really lovely hotel - nice change from the massive skyscraper hotels in Bangkok. Great facilities (pool nice, and the new spa suite of buildings looks like it will be amazing - currently the spa facilities are in a suite in the main building which was perfectly fine). Staff were exceptional though, at the desk, the concierge, the gym and pool teams and the spa.
Nothing springs to mind that I thought was poor - my reflections on my stay are all positive.

Beautiful hotel, the pool, the breakfast, the Spa… and of course the employees.

Breakfast was incredible, literally every option I couldn’t think of and more. Staff were the loveliest people ever, so welcoming and make you feel safe at home. We chose the standard room and it was so great, I am particularly fussy and I loved the room, hotel literally amazing I wish I could live here. The cabanas by the pool make you feel like you’re on an island in the middle of Bangkok. We were so relieved to come back to the oasis after a crazy night in Bangkok. We will never stay anywhere else in Bangkok but here.
The prices for the spa were disappointing much more than what I would pay in Australia, and the restaurants a bit too expensive. Although when we ate at the Thai restaurant the food was so delicious.

Piscine peut être la meilleure de Bangkok. Petit déjeuner très varié.
Hotel à mal vieilli. Doit être rafraîchi et le mobilier changé
Qualité du service parfois un peu pauvre

Excellent hotel very beautiful hotel and rooms, very good service , top quality food and extremely friendly staff
But some unacceptable safety problems for a 5 star hotel
The tiles around the beautiful swimming pool are very slippery when whet and we and other customers had important accidents and injuries
The multiple sliding doors in glass are so clean the older but mainly younger guest run in them without noticing there is a door

Absolutely everything. They have made an oasis in the heart of Bangkok and you feel transported away of the hustle and bustle of the city to a green paradise
We were upgraded to a suite and were able to check in very early (9 am) complimentary which was very nice.
The pool and fitness studio are top notch as is the food , we took advantage of in room dining throughout the stay and everything was delicious.
Maybe the closing of the windows could be better as we could hear far away but hear some cars on the street.
Also the new electronic system on the TVs at the room made it a little bit tricky to turn it off and we requested some help from the staff 😅

Location and staff - breakfast amazing. Gym is incredible.
We have been staying here for 20 years. It is one of our favourite places anywhere. The rooms desperately need that renovation.

A uniquely Thai hotel with beautiful architecture and unbeatable pool, grounds and ambience.

It's a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities with the exception of the pool which was closed for maintenance. It was a disappointment but the hotel offered vouchers for foods and drinks at U Sathorn Hotel and access to their pool. The bed was really comfortable.
The hotel/reception staff was not flexible with their policy around payment and use of the vouchers for the pool at U Sathorn.
It's challenging to operate the switches/ central control console for the lights in the room.

Everything was better than I expected. Especially the room.
Nothing. I wanted to stay longer.

Fantastic hotel. Expensive but actually good value compared with some of the other 5* hotels in Bangkok.
Amazing pool area but expect to wait a while for service there.

I have known the property along time and stayed a few times over the years. When it was fist opened it was hotel design like we had never seen in a City hotel. before. The famed designer Ed Tuttle ( Also known for Aman resorts) was the designer.
My family and I were passing through Bangkok for one night and I wanted them to experience the hotel. All in all they loved it as you truly feel you have arrived in Asia. The feel is contemporary asiatic with restaurants and rooms constructed around Lilly ponds with floating Buddhas.
The rooms are nice and elegant. I think the rooms to ask for are around the big Lilly pond but I forgot to specify and didn’t ask to change as it was for one night. Ground floor have pretty little balconies. I don’t know the room type but if you are staying a few days I would look for those .
The pool and spa are are very nice.
Restaurant puts on a very nice buffet breakfast.
It is looking a little tired in public areas and especially the Colonnade room . It seems a little quiet compared to the central hub it used to be. Most people I talked to who live in Bangkok still hold the hotel with great affection.

This hotel exceeds all expectations !
Nothing at all to complain about +

Club wing with pool and gym and the efficient and friendly welcoming service.
The Pool side cafe serves excellent Thai food for dinner.
The spa offers great Thai massages.
The garden setting of the hotel amongst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok makes it a very special place to stay.
The massive and comfortable club room could do with some minor technological upgrades such as the option to stream music, to watch YouTube on the TV-set and to listen to music/news in the bathroom.
In effect there is only one dining location Sunday - Wednesday, the Pool side cafe, that serves Thai food for dinner, as the signature restaurant is only open three nights a week.

Location: very quiet space almost in the city center, big surrounding garden, nice landscaping with courtyards, ponds, open spaces. Still central, we walked every day to explore the city, the hotel is conveniently located to all major highlights.
Room: extremely clean, spacious, cosy design, different light moods available, large sitting area. Extraordinary bathroom design with 360degree mirrors, huge bathtub, separate shower/WC cabins, perfect standard. Bed very comfortable. We stayed in a Club room with a nice view to the pool/garden.
gym: comprehensive, very high standard equipment, located in basement floor = no daylight (no problem). Adjacent SPA facilities with steam bath, jacuzzi, sauna.
Club lounge: Nice location, view, food. The staff took extra care of us since we are vegetarians, special food provided.
Breakfast: extraordinary in terms of variety, selection, quality, service. Comes very close to the best what I have ever seen in places like Dubai and Singapore. Attentive staff. Restaurant might need some refurbishment here and there, but very good atmosphere.
SPA: the Thai massage was marvellous, professional, effective.
Staff: as always, the people make the difference. Everyone was incredibly nice, helpful, friendly, funny (in a professional way). Mr Tar, club lounge manager, was exceptional in his way of interaction, super attentive, he arranged our trip to the countryside, transfers etc. and took truly extraordinary care of everything (we felt he was around 24/7).
We initially booked for 2 nights, since we felt so well, we came back for another 6 nights after our round trip and even extended the stay. This might tell how happy and satisfied we have been. The place has very good vibes all around. Definitely, we will come again.
Thank you to everyone who made the stay memorable.
nothing, really...
