Nice location

Location was good for our needs
Booked for 2 adults one child and only one bed made up with one pillow each, 2 cups and 2 glasses not prepared for 3 at all. Music blaring until late into the night unsure why, and the room was very hot. Food was ok but not worth the money, had stayed last year and food had been lovely so was disappointed. Room needed some tlc and the bathroom needed a good clean. There were sockets not connected to the wall and some sockets we couldn't get a regular plug into. The housekeeping staff serviced the room and left a dirty cup and dirty towels that had been left in the bath for laundry, so feels like a half hearted job, though they did leave clean ones in addition. Overall what we got in terms of facilities and service did not reflect the price we paid at all. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

At the tail end of breakfast time and no pastries left.

It’s was a friendly and quiet hotel
We had to wait for a while at the lift for people going up and down as the stairs were out of action due to building work and was only 1 lift not enough tea/coffee facilities in room could do with a fridge to keep water and drinks as the rooms can get very warm and the bed was very hard and made such a noise

On Arrival the staff were pleasant and very helpful and got our room ready however did take a while.
room was basic and very outdated.
Bed mattress was horrible and not comfortable.
Period Blood on the chair in the room.
And at 9am the started drilling in the room next door and was unbearable so we checked out early.
We informed the staff and they really didnt care.

Easy to find, plenty of car spaces, reception staff were excellent. Clean and spacious rooms. Would recommend.
The breakfast wasn’t the best, had to ask for everything to be refilled as it had all ran out but the staff were very quick to help so all ok.

Location
Where to start! Bathroom needs upgrading. Bath clogged up. Step over showers are an antiquity. Room very stuffy with. Totally inadequate fan provided. Expect so much more from a Marriott hotel. Customer service non existent.
3.8
Nice and clean, friendly staff
Bed mattresses were not comfortable and cheap quality
3.8
Reception area/downstairs appeared newly renovated and had a good design/colour scheme and interior decor
Room was dated.
Poor lightning
Bathroom was out dated, bottom of the toilet filthy brown/grey
Bath itself very tiny could barely move in it when showering.
Shower curtain filthy with marks all over, bathroom flooring needed work too
Pillows on the bed where also a waste of space... Even doubling up with the spare pillow produced little result which made for an uncomfortable sleep
Corridor carpet was coming off/lifting in many places
3.8
Good location and well maintained.
Beds were uncomfortable and got no sleep as doors were banking until late hours

Rooms & bathrooms were a bit tired and smelly

Quiet and restful night's sleep in hotel. Lots of choice at breakfast. Very good.
Nothing

Location of hotel was relatively central to destination. Staff where friendly and helpful, breakfast was a good spread with plenty of options.
Booking Marriott you expect a certain level of luxury. The hotel rooms felt dated and in need of renovation. The bathroom was at best functional, but the bath/shower had little power for showering. Water stains on all appliances was disappointing. Carpets where old and worn,

Everything was as expected from this Chain. The Staff were polite and professional always doing their best.
nothing.

the staff were very friendly and helpful when re requested another towel
numerous tv channels didn't work due to poor internet
breakfast was not included in the room rate, as we were there for 3 nights £60.00 was too expensive for our budget

Friendly welcome and departure
Room was dated and stains on the carpet. Food was awful and some staff I felt didn’t want to be there

big rooms
very outdated bathroom and bedroom

Location was fantastic, good and friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Room size was nice.
The beds were not as comfortable as you would expect from the style and level of standard expected at Delta Marriott. Hard wood board used as bed base on the bed in room 201. And the Sofa bed wasn't comfortable at all. The room would be greatly improved with better mattresses and a proper bed base.
Secondly no eggs available on Sunday 14th May besides scrambled. Unfortunately for those like myself that don't drink milk, scrambled eggs is never an option. Which meant there was no alternative for people that didn't eat scrambled eggs on that morning. Or at least when we came down for breakfast, there wasn't nothing else but scrambled.

The bed was too hard. For our liking

Breakfast was great.
Reception area and restaurant have been modernised and are very bright and airy.
Room slightly dated, and a little bit sad. Furniture marked . Bed very noisy.
Very clean. Shower good.
Menu limited for evening meal.

The staff are lovely

The decor in the lounge area was nice and bright and modern. The decor in the rooms were okay as well
The shower in the bathroom was trickling out water and so I couldn't have a proper shower. The bath tub was old and rusty. The bath mat was dirty. The ceiling in the hotel looked like it was about to cave in, especially in the meeting room. It was old and falling apart. My bed was also falling apart.

loved the design and decor
breakfast lukewarm

We were there for a dinner dance and the staff were friendly and work extremely hard at the event and for breakfast in the morning, considering that most people came down at the same time which caused food issues.
that I had to keep checking your prices for the night because the "special price " for the event was high. I ended up cancelling and rebooking and finally got it £30.00 cheaper that the "special price". That was a bit naughty on your side. please just give a reasonable good price to start with.
3.8
The room was very nice and clean, bed was very comfy, staff were very friendly, nice location and very handy for the event we were attending.
bathroom extractor fan was a little bit noisy when on, and the toilet seat didnt stay in the upright position.
