We were welcomed and shown to our lovely room. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was in a newly refurbished conservatory. Service was excellent as was the breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Nothing.

Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good food.

Great location, friendly staff, good food, the room was huge for Britain and the bathroom was enormous. The house is lovely, though damp. It's really quiet, three was no noise from the pub at all.
The bathroom and beds were fine, but the room could use a deep clean in the hard to reach corners, like so many British hotel rooms. We had rain and the room was very cold and damp. Thankfully the heating works well and you can actually turn on the radiators as a guest.

Great location, lovely welcoming staff, off street parking bedroom clean and great shower facilities, good bar area
Rather outdated and a little run down generally, we didn’t eat there because the restaurant wasn’t very welcoming

Food quality poor
Shabby overall with dirty peeling paintwork, filthy sticky door handles everywhere

The room was a bit warm, could do with a fan

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, including making allowances for our late arrival.
We booked a twin and were given a double so it took a little while to sort that out.

Breakfast was ok! Not the best we've had. The location is perfect for visiting different places in St Davids. We had a nice stay. We had a few drinks in the bar in the evening which was nice. Lady behind the bar was very friendly and nice. The bed in our room was very comfy too. Shower was nice and powerful as well.
There was mold above the shower which wasn't pleasant to the eye, and the toilet could have been a bit cleaner, there were marks in the bottom of toilet pan.Generally the hotel could do with a touch of decorating to freshen it up.

The room was clean and comfortable
Had Sunday roast . It was disgusting. Mostly inedible. Ordered from the grazer menu in the evening which was even worse than the roast. Burnt to a cinder and once again inedible. It was obvious staff had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Very disappointed. Ruined our whole weekend.

The member of staff was helpful and apologetic but didn’t really know where anything was as he was new
This was the worst stay I’ve ever had in a hotel. We arrived late with a tired 5year old child and were not able to access our room for 15m due to a faulty key. Then we finally got in the room to find it hadn’t been cleaned. There were dirty sheets, bathroom and the toilet unflushed. We couldn’t believe this as were all exhausted after helping an unwell family member all day and just needed sleep. The new member of staff tried to be helpful but hadn’t been trained properly as didn’t know where anything was kept.
We had to strip the beds ourselves, and were given a small handful of sheets and towels only, no duvet covers or pillow cases, so had to make do with these and sleep in uncovered bedding. All the old bedding from previous guests remained on the floor all night.
We complained and were offered a refund and compensation, but nothing has been received and the hotel are not answering emails. Shocking service

location
extremely tired furniture and decor.Smelling of damp, dining tables sticky, dirty and grubby shower, paper thin walls in bathroom and you could hear next door. Ych!

Breakfast was OK, first morning there was no fruit and the second morning the fruit didn't seem fresh. The cooked breakfast and omelette were lovely. Good location, within working distance of the centre and cathedral. Friendly bar man who seemed to be dealing with the general running of the pub/checking people in/waiter etc. Good sized TV to watch the rugby!
The room did not look like as advertised on booking.com, very tired looking and a very small bathroom with no bath. Could do with modernising. On our last morning the electric went off which affected the water supply - no idea when this would be fixed.

We have stayed previously and will do again. Great welcome at check in and room was spacious and had a good nights sleep.
I think some internal decoration and carpeting is tired and needs upgrading in the future

Super friendly staff, very comfy room with great view on the historically famously mentioned StDavis Crows, good parking. All in close walking distance into the lively town. All fine, to recommend!

We just stayed for one night. We had a large room which was very pleasant.
The bed was comfortable.
My one gripe is leaving those small plastic milk containers. I do wish hotels make more effort to ban single use plastic from rooms.
The hotel is a little run down but thats' probably more to do with the times we are in.

Room small, near main road, shower not big enough to move in-asked for bath-no rooms with baths for the length of our stay. The place looked ready for a re-vamp, mamagement in fux -staff on the ground did the best they could.

Music and fan noise playing from kitchen..

Staff working hard but unfamiliar with the venue.
The air of decay and the thought that the owners were running the hotel Dow for it fail and the site to be used for housing.

Nothing, except location
Key card for hotel and room not configured so locked out on return in evening. No replies, no emergency number displayed. Had to walk half a mile after midnight to find a bed for the night without our belongings and medication which were in our room. Disaster. Hotel badly in need of update and decent staffing. Still waiting for refund

The location of this property is excellent at the top of St David's High Street.
The staff all appeared to have been brought in from other hotels in the group, starting either the day we arrived or only 2 days prior, however, they tried their best and were friendly.
To say this hotel was tired is an understatement. It was in a state of bad disrepair throughout, threadbare carpets, stained and dirty soft furnishings. The room was filthy, I had to scrub the bottoms of our slippers before we put them in our cases the floor was so dirty. The window sills were very dirty, the room smelt damp and was extremely damp, with mould in some places, this would have been dangerous for someone with asthma. We booked a hotel so that we could eat in in the evenings, the first night we ate in, food was mediocre but acceptable. That was the last time that evening meals were provided with a half baked excuse as to why not, so we had to go out to eat which was not acceptable to us. The price of the stay did not include breakfast and was greatly overpriced. Booking.com need to remove this from their selection of properties until something has been done to rectify the problems there. This hotel has had bad reviews for a while now and is getting worse.
