Fantastic weekend

From the time we arrived everything about the hotel & stag was great. I was stopping in the building away from the main hotel & the room 38 was lovely.

Excellent hotel with great staff and at a reasonable price

Excellent hotel. Great location on coast and close to Holyhead ferry. Fantastic staff....friendly,helpful and professional. Restaurant is cosy and excellent food. Overall top rated and at a very reasonable price.

Lovely hotel in a great location, a great find!

Great location Friendly helpful staff Great room, luxury double (room 701), huge bed and separate sofa, patio with table & chairs, lovely view over the beach Good choice of evening meal options - restaurant or inn at the hotel, two other places within easy walking distance Great breakfast

Only small downside was our room was very warm, the radiators were off but it was still quite hot. With no aircon I can imagine that room would get very hot in summer.

Disappointed this is not my idea of a four star hotel

Location is good

The property looked worn and in need of renovation from the outside. In our room the bathroom fittings were coming off the wall, the seal on the window had gone and you could feel the wind coming through. Also the window had a tatty piece of net curtain which was frayed down the sides and was in need of a wash at the very least or better still thrown out.

unimpressed because of the accommodation

location is good

hotel is grubby and not worth the money carpet in the room is dirty as are the curtains room needs a complete refurbishment not happy either about not being accommodated in the main part of hotel .in the annexe where we stayed there was an unpleasant stench prevalent.To compound the grubbiness of this hotel dogs seem to have a free rein .Frankly it is disgusting and not fit for purpose.

A lovely hotel with great facilizes in a perfect location.

Friendly staff, nothing to much trouble. Breakfast was super, used the bar for an evening meal which was also great. Location was perfect. Room with a sea view.

Had a family wedding there couldn’t fault the service at the wedding looked after well breakfast was lovely full English

Such a good location right next to the bay

I booked 2 rooms one had a sea view one didn’t looked out into a piece of false grass and a wall 1 room had a lovely modern bathroom one needed updating

1st time back in 50 years with my young son, very enjoyable, lovely food, had a great time, thanks

Our room was perfectly clean, with everything you'd expect for the price, tea/coffee/biscuits etc/TV/Hair dryer/Complementary (shower) products etc. The food in the pub area was very good and the breakfast was 10/10 We had a swim in the pool which we really enjoyed, the staff where very friendly and helpful nothing was to much. Free afternoon Entertainment in the beer garden was a nice touch, Also Free Parking.

Our room was a little bit small but perfectly clean, the view from the window wasn't the best (No 27) however we didn't spend hours looking out of it so only an observation (perhaps screen out the bad bits)

Superb

Excellent fir Holyhead. Lovely setting, room very bright and food excellent with good real ale selection. Lovely bay with selection of cafes. Stunning beach.

Fab location, beautiful room, staff very friendly and in all a lovely stay and experience.

Room was very warm and stuffy, unable to get any fresh air, fan not very effective. Sea view wasn't as expected, overlooked car park and had to look through the side window to see the sea.

Good location and lovely staff.

We was put up in an annex side of the on site pool. Would have preferred to stay in main building. Almost got burnt in the shower from hot water and informed staff to put sign in place.

OK stay,

The staff and location were amazing A hotel with great staff and an excellent location.

. However, the room we stayed in could've done with a bit of tlc. The hot water was warm at best with the pressure in the shower being low. Also, the heating in the room appeared to be on a timer and the room was cold at times The pool temperature was cold and we only managed 10 minutes on the first day and didn't use it again.

Very enjoyable stay in a friendly and lovely hotel.

Our room was spacious and well equipped, the bed was very comfy. The view was lovely over the sea, the village and over to Snowdonia on the mainland. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful, parking spacious and easy. Pool was quiet and well maintained. Breakfasts were very good with hot food to order as well as cereals, bread, pastries, fruit etc on the buffet.

We were a bit underwhelmed by the standard of cooking in the restaurant for the evening meals. The menus were interesting, but everything seemed to just miss being very good. Nothing you could complain about - just a bit lacking in taste.
