Full of character and in a wonderful position.
It’s a little tired. The dining tables are worn and sticky and dark worn furnishings. Fresh flowers would be a good start…
4.3
Beautiful well-maintained property with attentive staff in excellent location!
4.3
Location hard to beat. Breakfast good dinner good Room good
The stairs and having to climb into the bath to have a shower. I'm 89 and my mobility is not what it was!
4.3
The character of the building, the beautiful guest room, and the location
The cat wandering around the breakfast room was a bit off putting but I’m not keen on cats anyway…..

A wonderful weekend. Stunning hotel very clean nice breakfast and staff very friendly and helpful. Hoping to go again
Streaky bacon would prefer back bacon.
4.3
Breakfast was really excellent and the staff were great except the barman who was not interested in serving us at all! The hotel itself was great and very atmospheric 😊 I want to congratulate this hotel on such helpful staff re gluten free food and the great choices on offer for those of us. 👏🏻
We had a small cabin room no 1 which was cute but oppressively hot and we slept badly. The windows were cracked where previous visitors had obviously tried to open them as wide as possible! Put fans in the rooms! Also the towels stank of fried food so obviously the laundry is right next to the kitchens😩

We loved the decor, history and location.
There wasn’t anything to not like
4.3
Breakfast was fabulous. Excellent choice on menu. Our room was fabulous with sea view four windows and on different aspects. We didn’t eat our evening meal at the hotel.
A really lovely place.
The very comfortable chairs were very heavy to move to sit and enjoy TV. They were facing away from the TV.
4.3
good location
the fact that the wine list had no prices on it, nor did it say what wines were by the glass
4.3
Good location, large room with good views.
Lack of options at breakfast for people with dietary restrictions, despite prior notification.
4.3
Beautiful place, gorgeous location, fantastic super friendly staff.
4.3
The building, the staff, the food, the rooms were all very wonderful
At quiet times some low background music in the restaurant and lounge areas would be nice
4.3
Location, design & decor, facilities and kindness of the staff.
I would have given this hotel a 10 out of 10 all day long, I generally never tell the staff this, but on this occasion I had a good chat with them, I begrudgingly deducted 1 point due to them not taking cash, card only :-(

I love the character of the building and the views of the sea. The breakfast is amazing. The staff exceptional and welcoming. I also like that I can feel utterly comfortable staying and eating alone which is rare.

Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and a stunning view!
4.3
excellent customer service
could be more on the menu especially if you are Gluten Free

Absolutely stunning inside and out and the staff were lovely
4.3
Comfortable, lovely setting, nice room, polite waiting staff
No price list or drinks menu was available (apparently they were with the printing company). We found one online but it did not have an prices referenced. I didn't particularly like finding out at checkout our one rather small glass of (warm, not chilled) prosecco was £9.20. If I had known I would have returned it, as it certainly didn't represent good value.

Stuart and the team were fantastic and made our stay!
Nothing, just wish we could have stayed longer
4.3
We were quite happy with most but after a long drive from N Wales were put off by being told "the machine has just blown up, we aren't doing tea or coffee" by the bar person.
Also, the upgrade on the room didn't seem good value.
As above7

Beautiful building with amazing views. Booked a luxury room as a special birthday treat and it was stunning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay there.
Nothing. All very very good.
4.3
A lovely old house right on the shore. Build as a summer house for the Siemens family it has a wealth or oak panelling. Worth booking to eat in the dining room rather than in one of the bars, although the food is the same.
4.3
The room was lovely and very comfortable.
Other areas (sunroom) were also lovely.
staff were excellent
hot water from tap in basin was too hot and as a pair of taps, not possible to mix.
bath was lovely, but very high, so would have benefited from some hand holds to aid us older people getting in and out of the shower/bath.
we were later to breakfast on first day and although pleasant, it did feel like it had been kept warm and gone a little dry.
4.3
Beautiful room. We really felt comfortable and that we were by the sea.
I feel more flavour could have been put into the food (breakfast & Dinner)
4.3
Hotel location very good with access to the cliff path and a short walk from the many eating options in the town. Breakfast very good
Room was a little warm at night
4.3
Ot much.
The food and somewhere to put clothes in our room.
4.3
View, big room, big bathroom, bath and funky bathroom lights!
Staff were very distracted!
