Bed and the location made this place enjoyable.
Very confusing the fact that there is 2 Mercure hotels, no pool facility in the one I booked ☹️

Room needed updating, it just felt/looked tired, but at least it had USB ports. Bed was comfy & so were extra pillows. We had breakfast included however one look at the buffet and we went outside of the hotel to eat. The eggs were all soggy & wet, so unappealing, only a few choices of other items & there were no beans in the coffee machine!
Buffet breakfast.

Breakfast had no juice left in containers, coffee made with a big wait. Not much variety.
Moved rooms after first night - room unclean, noisy air-conditioning. Second room was better still not great - very tired room.
Check out unavailable by a person had to check out via the machine.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. great attitudes, answered any question quickly and thoughtfully. the beds were comfortable, rooms are big and balconies have a great view. the location is great, easy walk to city and Woolies.
the rooms were dated and needed a very good clean. bedding and towels etc were clean, just bedroom walls and bathroom walls, aircon vents, curtains and fixtures needed a very good scrub.

Good king size bed, comfortable
The sink too low

The location
Plenty space in the room and not a seat or couch to sit on.
The bathroom grout was filthy and the shower screen at the bottom not cleaned either.
No spare blanket and it was very cold.
First hotel room we have ever stayed in without a minibar in room.
Dinner was terrible - I ordered a chicken schnitzel (which my 8 year old granddaughter would have cooked better) so dry could not eat it and as for presentation from a hotel kitchen a dried up schnitzel with a spoon of bland coleslaw falls way short of even someone with low expectations.
There was simply no atmosphere it was so quiet no music playing - just dead.
The amount charged for parking is simply another thing that made us feel that being there as a customer did not seem to mean anything to anyone - sad …

Location was close to the locations I was travelling to. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was very good.
Room was definitely not worth what was paid, very small, no cutlery, plates or microwave to use - not even scissors which I had to ask reception for to make my food, no draws or anything in near the fridge or in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast was absolutely appalling, not many options and the options that were there were not cooked very well. I was very unhappy with my stay and will not be using Mercure in the future.

For our purpose, in the vicinity of Royal Perth Hospital, excellent, approx 4-5 minutes walk away. Room and breakfast very good. Extremely happy with my stay.

Location was great
2 single beds to make a king no worries however when 1 of the single beds creeks and squeaks with every movement it makes not only for an uncomfortable sleep, it completely disturbed the other person. Also Key card only worked on initial entry. Took it back to reception to fix and it still wouldn't allow access. 1 person had to stay in to let the other one in if they needed to venture out for supplys. Absolutely not what I expected from Mecure or from paying $200per night. Backpackers maybe 🤔

Only thing I liked was the breakfast
Room had a bad smell, Carpet was very old, bench tops were stained, air conditioning was very weak and turned off three times in one night.

Location was great, just a short stroll to the parks, river, shops, bars and eating places. Reception staff were nice and friendly. Nice looking entrance lobby, restaurant and outdoor eating and drinking area. Free WiFi. Good sized room with natural light coming in. Big clean bed with join down middle.
Very tatty depressing room. Needed a total refurbishment not just a good clean. The view was flat roofs and backs of other depressing looking buildings. It was overpriced for the standard of accommodation. Builders and workmen were traipsing around right outside our door on 9th floor.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant area looked nice and I received a complimentary drink which was a bonus. The view from the room overlooked the church in Perth city which was nice.
The hotel at face value (lobby and bar) seemed nice but beyond that it is very aged. The elevators do not require room card access so anyone can use them to access the rooms above the lobby. Our room had an odd smell that I thought might have been a fragrance used in order to disguise another unpleasant ‘sewerage’ type smell. The bathroom has exposed piping and is very ugly in general. The price for the room needs to be about AU$100 less.

Comfortable beds. Good air conditioning in our room. Convenient location, close to bus stop and other public transport. Healthy breakfast options. Pleasant staff.
Small, basic breakfast area.

The hotel is close to the city, very walkable.
1. Renovation work was going on so it was very uncomfortable during the day with the drilling sound.
2. Basic health stuffs were not available such as the thermometer, etc so make sure you have your medications or thermometer ready in case you are unwell.
3. Housekeeping was very average.

It was clean and presented well. Loved that there was a balcony to sit out and have a coffee in the morning.
The location was a bit out of the way from. Restaurants and entertainment, especially when you are two women alone.
