Great location close to the ICC where my conference was held.
Big comfortable bed, a nice shower and the view on Darling Harbour made the stay lovely.
My room was located near the lifts and noisy at times.
ALso I was unfortunate to have some teenage travel group in the rooms next to me, which was noisy and woke me up a couple of times at night.

Rooms are tired looking

Location
Tiny rooms, walls thin as paper, man coughing in the room next to ours kept us awake all night. Room was very tired, worn out, scuffed and marked badly
4.0
Excellent location!
Room cleanliness, in particular the bathroom, could have been better with greater attention to detail.
3.0
You are paying for the location and for unit was convenient to be near the ICC.
The rooms are very tired. Bathroom in particular needs a refresh and paint. Blinds need to be replaced as they were broken and very worn. Carpets everywhere were worn.

It was affordable
It’s hard to navigate parking. With public transportation it is slightly confusing to get there. Across the traffic light, through the tram line across the car park up the lift and up the ramp. The access was difficult.
1.5
The location was amazing and the view.
It’s a very small room for $320 a night. No water, no shampoo and conditioner, no room clean. We would not stay again.

Room air con was amazing kept the room nice and cool on a warm day and location was central to everything.
It was perfect for a last min booking
3.5

Suppose it is a bit shabby really as we have been going there for years

Breakfast was COLD both mornings! Room was very small, not happy with the price we paid

Staff were great. Location is excellent.
The ibis is quite Run down. Air conditioner didn’t work, no hot water- had to change rooms. Bathroom was dingy.

Location was perfect. Staff were great. The breakfast room staff was exceptionally good. Bed was very comfortable
Not that I didn’t like it but it was very old and dingy to look at
4.0
Great for attending a conference alone,
Not the best for more than 2 person in the room as it’s small and best for just very short stays
4.0
Perfect place to stay to see darling harbour. Easily accessible.
The breakfast buffet was a little bit of a let down. Not entirely worth the price

Very good location. Walking distance to most things in Darling Harbour. Easy to get around. Will be a top venue when the construction is done in Darling Harbour.
Room was nice. Clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.
We were given an upgrade when we got there that we really appreciated.
I dont think there was anything I didn't like.
3.5
Excellent location. Comfortable beds.
All in one body soap, shampoo and conditioner! Would have liked separate.

Excellent location for public transport. Within a 5-minute walk, there is both a ferry at Pyrmont Bay on the "F" line that runs to Circular Quay via Barangaroo, Luna Park and a couple other stops, and a light rail station on the L1 line that runs to Central. You can access pretty much everything in Sydney from these points. You "tap on/tap off" both the ferry and the trains using a credit card or Opal card (you need separate cards for each person). Just turn right on Murray Street when you exit the hotel and walk through the first intersection - the L train is on the left across the street (you have to walk down steps at the back of the pavement - not visible from the street). To get to the ferry, just keep walking straight through the first intersection for a few blocks and keep looking to the right. There is a wide boardwalk with a dock on the left extending into Darling Harbor. The hotel also has a nice view of Cockle Bay Wharf from their outdoor patio just outside the ground floor bar, and a 24-hour grocery across the street (a bit pricey, however).
Rooms and hallways were old and dated, definitely need updating. Room was a bit musty when we entered, but air cleared quickly once AC was activated. Bathroom only had combo body wash/shampoo, no bar soap or conditioner, so bring your own. Front desk personnel gave some really bad directions on our first day - had us walk all the way to Barangaroo to catch a ferry, even though we specifically asked about the Pyrmont Bay ferry. We ended up walking about 30 minutes to catch the ferry that had JUST LEFT from Pyrmont Bay on it's way to Circular Quay. So . . . be cautious about asking the front desk for directions, and trust your maps or Google.

location was ok
rooms too small and no hot water

Close to city
No biscuits, limited coffee, UHT milk, no information at all (about Ibis facilities or about local area) no do not disturb signs, room was small and pokey. Construction site out the window glad I didn’t stay there mid week. No pool- you have to visit Novotel for that. No bar facilities, breakfast was below average for the price.

Location was great! Staff were great!
Room size was so small. Very tired & dated look for the price we paid

The staff were excellent
The place is very tired, bed was soft and most importantly not that clean.
4.5
Love the stay, very comfortable and close to everything. Was comfortable and convenient.
I did not like when I was charged 3 times for the same stay on my credit card. I made one booking and got a message from booking.com that the booking was not confirmed and was told I would get a credit. Which I did and then on check out, I was charged again. 3x debits (Charge) and 1x Credit. Not my fault that the first booking did not go through as I had a confirmation mail so I made another booking to ensure I confirmed my stay. I cannot reconcile my stay with the company card and could be responsible for paying out of my pocket. I have contacted the Credit Card Help Desk and I still have no help yet.

Location handy for theatre weekend
Nice dinner and breakfast

Sorry to say we never got to try the restaurant or bar facilities. The location is 100% accessible to the city transport tourist attractions etc.
The staff were very friendly helpful and informative about the different facilities etc.
Rooms were clean with a fantastic view.
Without having to ask more towels or at least 2 towels per person as I have long hair and am a stocky tubby nanna that needs at least 2 towels.
5.0
The location is the best you can find in Sydney, short walking distance from so many attractions throughout Darling Harbour, either museums, or Chinese gardens, or shopping centers …
There is construction around the harbour, which can make it noisy sometimes, but not crazy.
