Fabulous stay!

Spacious rooms, always so clean, great facilities in the room (big fridge, barista coffee machine, oven, microwave, hob etc) big pool area wirh loads of sun loungers and lovely helpful staff! It's a very family friendly place without being loud and too busy. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back to this hotel

Lovely hotel couldn’t do enough for you .

Only had the Breakfast once , it was good plenty of choice to choose from . Location is about 15 mins to shops and 25mis to the harbour where there is a lot more restaurants to choose from and taxis there about €4 to €5 euros

Scam.

It was somewhat convenient location if you have a car.

It was a total scam. Traveling with two teenage kids, they made us pay for two huge rooms. Totally unnecessary since each room had a sofa bed. Breakfast was bad. Cheap, but wanted to charge my 14 yr old 25 EUR for eating cereal. The property was deserted. A ghost town. No ambiance. Nothing to do. No wait staff to even bring you a drink to the pool. This is not a resort. It’s an expensive bed. The infrastructure is also falling apart. Although clean, old plaster falling in the bathroom room corners. Staff not friendly. Combative. Not accommodating. Not customer oriented. 1star. I would not recommend this place at all.

excellent stay, great hotel/staff and very good location.

lovely hotel, spacious rooms, great distance from main village with pleasant 10-15 min walk or very short taxi ride, quick walk to Pingo Doce supermarket which is well stocked of anything you would need, good size balcony area and room equipped with everything you need for self catering.

there is not a lot of Sun loungers at the pool area, not enough to accommodate guests when really busy. you can use the beach instead if you don’t want to use the pool area or find there is no room (we did this some days and actually really liked the beach).

This time round I booked a 2 bed apartment, it was amazing

Stayed in this property on my 1st visit to Portugal 4 yrs ago and loved it. The staff and guests were all friendly, had the use of the pool without any restrictions and it’s a short 7mins walk into the centre otherwise a taxi ride was less than €5.

Nothing not to like although the bar needs to ensure they are stacked up - running out of brandy was not a good start to my trip 😅

A warm welcome in Alvor

The location is great, close to old Alvor town. Rooms and Pool are clean. Breakfast great. But the standout part is the staff. very helpful. We had a terrible experience in a boat trip to Benagil caves and were thoroughly soaked The staff allowed us to use our old room that hadn’t yet been cleaned. so grateful to them for their kindness and attention to customers.

Very enjoyable stay would definitely recommend and hope to revisit.

Location was good for us away from the centre of Alvor. We walked every evening to the restaurants and enjoyed the walk back. Apartment was beautiful very spacious and balcony was lovely. Staff very helpful.

Facilities around pool area could be better. Very few sunbeds for size of hotel

We loved the views over the pool and green area. The hotel was very clean, friendly service and spacious rooms. We loved the location not being in the middle of the hussle bussle but serene corner, with city centre a 15 mins walk away. The breakfast was okay but not great as it was not high season but they made us tastu eggs upon request.

More fresh items at breakfast. But I think since its an appartment people do breakfast in ther balcony, we would cook our own too if we stayed longer.

Lovely hotel..great pool..very pleasant staff..very lovely lobby..perfect lifts..

There is a lot of building work going on..both to the rear and the land to the side..that obviously reflects on the view over the pool area...

Holiday at the pelican

Beautiful modern hotel. Very clean with very friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Ten minute walk into alvor.

Perfect spot for a bit of R and R.

Staff were excellent, apartment perfect and the Buffet Breakfast was also excellent. Great location only a ten minute walk into town. Even though the apartment complex was booked out it was so quiet day and night. Will definitely go back.
