We stayed for a week at this wonderful hotel. The management and staff went out of their way to accomodate all our wishes. Breakfast (included), lunch and dinner was exceptionally good. Free parking on location. Located first row along river and in the center of Sao Pedro do Sul Thermas. We already booked our next one week stay at this hotel for our next vaction in the area.
We like evererything about this hotel. Cannot find anything to criticize. You will love this hotel.

Owners, location, lovely view from the window, free of charge parking right next to the hotel, type of two different pillows (a hard and a soft one) on the bed, bathrobes in the room. There even was a weighing scale in the bathroom!
The fact that one has to pay for coffee / tea in the room for 0,50€ was just unheard and unpleasant to discover. Especially having in mind that we even didn't have breakfast as we woke up too late. In addition to that, some information about the nearbouts was missing.

Staff were so friendly, exceptional warm welcome. The location of this property we found to be the best of all in sao de pedro do sul. Lovely views in the heart of town. Traditional decor that is kept extremely well. Our room had, fridge, tv , phone, hairdryer large bed and AC. The room was also spotless clean.
This hotel has the most charming out door dining area it's a shame it does not promote food on a higher standard. It has so much potential. We at least had a drink sitting out over looking the river which was lovely.
The breakfast was the only let down. We booked 3 night but chose not to eat there after the 1st morning because it was not good, BUT , there is an excellent cafe maybe 200m with lots of choice and very cheap. We only paid 70e per night for 2 adults at the hotel which is so cheap we honestly did not care if we didn't eat breakfast there.

We loved everything. From the great and very profissional welcome to the the last detail. Historical property run by three lovely sisters who provide you an authentic experience of portuguese hospitality, that is sometimes hard to find in a fastfood tourism world.
I very much recommend this familiar and cosy hotel for its great location and beauty and quality of the staff and services. Room 17 was excelent, great mattress for our sored backs, hot water with great pressure in the shower and an amazing view to the Vouga river. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was excellent. I simpley adored talking a bit with those amazing ladies. One of them told me the history of the hotel and one took me on a "guided tour" to see some old postecards and photos. Thank you so much, we had a great time and you three are definitely ambassadors of portuguese heritage, that we need so much to protect and share.
Hairdryer needs update.

Quiet, clean, great location.

The breakfast was great despite the boring Covid Protocols and was not being served inside sickness bag as many places are serving.
The hot water at the shower stopped a little while. Made my partner so pissed off but somehow started to work again.

How classy and classic it is! And the staff was super nice!!!
