Property is very tired and run down
The pace has been run poorly no information given to guests, staff not helpful, rooms are damp and broken.
Awful

The rooms were lovely and beds comfortable in the Villa's we stayed in. Unfortunately the water pooling/plumbing seemed to be a recurring issue with many showers. The grounds were spacious.
The grounds were not maintained well at all compared to other places we had stayed. The entire hotel looked tired and many areas closed. This hotel doe not look like the pictures. The outdoor furnishings are old and were never clean. The breakfast was terrible. We had to go out every day despite paying for a buffet that did not supply the many fresh foods readily available. They market themselves as healthy and also vegetarian/vegan friendly, yet it ws only ever basic old looking pineapple and flavourless melon on table, despite walking out to the streets and being able to access a wide array of beautiful ripe fresh fruits. The only serial was like a co co pops (full of sugar). The dinner menu in our option was far too complex and the quality very poor and again, way too much fried food. We chose to eat out mostly when possible due to this also. They would be better reducing the enormous menu (which can only be frozen foods) they then cook and focus on a couple of dozen great fresh meals cooked well and with flavour. Sorry guys; but I we and many others felt the same about the food. It really does feel at this venue that it is used for EVENTS due to its size and therefore takes advantage of such and that there is little focus on the important things (particularly at the rate of $200AU / night). We wouldn't come back here or be able to recommend sorry.

does not look like the pictures, breakfast had flies all over it and this is certainly not a 5 star place
too big and was not a high standard

Buffet breakfast was good.
The variety of pools - but not always maintained.
Good to have babysitting and playroom - but both expensive and playroom run down.
We were very disappointed with the state of the poolside areas. Clearly the place hasn't been maintained and simple things of looking after the tiling and getting rid of plant build up on the tiles meant that they could be slippery and dangerous.
We purposefully choose this place with our toddler to use the babysitting service, play room, spa for ourselves and use of facilities to relax. Babysitting price has gone up, the playroom &outside area hasn't been maintained and feels run down. You have to pay extra to use the facility. Staff were generally pleasant but we weren't informed of anything at check in -breakfast time, where it was, the several pools. Some spoke less English and I had to ask about everything. The menu was ok and food decent but with tax etc on top was expensive. Overall we were very disappointed and if I hadn't paid up front then I would have either left straight away or stayed 1 night and gone elsewhere. Instead we'd paid for 3 and made the best of it. Our room was at the back behind the main reception hotel area. Dirty dishes were left outside and not taken away for couple of days, the bath plug barely fitted and the shower when used would fill and nearly flood the bathroom. It all needs better upkeep and found it expensive for the state of the facilities, location and quality. We'd stayed at a 3star place before this which preferred overall and was 40 gbp pounds cheaper. It Could be a lovely place but right now feels run down and not looked after properly. As such they shouldn't charge the amount they are. Wouldn't return or recommend currently .

Staff was super friendly, the breakfast was delicious and location was good.
The rooms were not so clean. We changed rooms 2 times because we didn't like it and there were insects.

The place is nice and big. There are 6 pools you can swim in and they have an pick up and drop off service to get you to the city centre.
They try to maintain the resort with a lot of people. And the outside looks nice.
The gym is nice and has a lot of equipment to train.
Unfortunately our room was out dated. It smelled like mould all the time and there were like a 100 mosquitos, black worm, ants every night. The big windows/doors don't fully close, so there are a lot of bugs that come into your room. The bathtub did not work because the water would keep running through.
Upon our arrival I have tried to extend our stay there because it would fit our initery better. We were told that the extra nights would be possible. Unfortunatly the persons behind the whatsapp service/reception would get back to us every night but the extended stay was never confirmed. I also asked for another room because of the bug problems but they tell you that there going to check it out, but just never get back to you. Disappointing because the resort was huge and not fully booked at all.
Breakfast was included but not very good.
If you want to spend a lot of money on a resort maybe check if you can check other out.

The Mansion has definitely been let go. It looked grubby and poorly maintained. The photos must have been from years ago. The pools were dirty apart from the rooftop one. This place has so much potential, but the stay here was very disappointing.

Beautiful grounds, great spa, lovely pools especially the rooftop pool. Friendly staff and okay food
Pools could be cleaned of bugs and leaves more often, great big baths that look cool but cannot be filled to even a quarter full, staff are poorly trained when it comes to keeping the pool and bar area clean. Worst of all was finding a broken glass by the pool at 10am, clearly had been there all night. Cut my leg on it. Even when I pointed out to staff the simply removed the glass and that was it. I had to complain again that the area needed closed off and cleaned as there were still bits of glass on the ground. Food was 3 star at best

Myself and my partner just left Seminyak/Kuta area and we’re in need of a wind down with lots of relaxation. This was the perfect place to be.
Amazing hotel with fabulous facilities.
While we were here we both got the couple hot stone massage which was out of this world. After trekking through many of the attractions around Ubud this massage is just what was needed .
Overall too marks, and if I return to Ubud again, this is exactly where i will be staying

Loved this place! Interesting and beautiful gardens. Lovely swimming pools and lounging areas. Easy walk to Ubud through the back streets and far enough out of the main centre to escape the business at the end of the day. I liked the effort this property was making to reduce plastic water bottle waste.
