We stay here often and book a room at the back of the hotel away from the road noise. The view of the stream and the swans if beautiful. The situation is ideal for us to visit friends and shops in Bournemouth. We like the restaurant - it is lovely and not over-priced. We like to enjoy wine outside overlooking the countryside - and the swans.
There is plenty of free (and secure) parking.
As usual, everything was lovely. I wish shower mats were provided in the bathroom because I am afraid of slipping while standing in the bath to shower - so I usually run a bath. I have asked for one in the past and one was immediately provided. It's just that I usually forget to ask.

Staff were all very nice
Room was very noisy from the road and very hot but could not open the windows due to noise
Lunch was very poor quality and value
Breakfast was poor as we paid £12 for coffee and toast and were not told it was one price even though I said that was all we wanted
4.3
The staff were friendly and professional.
The breakfast was excellent.
The room was adequate.
Location of the hotel made it easy to locate.
No air-conditioning, hence the room was very warm and we had to open the windows to try and cool the room down.
Even with the windows closed, traffic noise could be heard in our room (221), which was located directly above the hotel entrance.. The traffic noise came from both the main road and the service to the hotel directly in front of it entrance.
Another noise issue was when the flights from Bournemouth Airport flew over the hotel, and they were quite frequent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful
We paid and upgraded our room to a riverside room and it was a nice room
Evening meal very good
Breakfast buffet style but plenty of choices
Shower in the room was over Bath shower and took ages to get the temperature correct
Fried eggs at breakfast very overcooked

Great food, fantastic service from the restaurant and bar staff.
Road noise all night, no air conditioning, no sleep, hotel failed in its primary function of providing a restful night's sleep. Indifferent to borderline rude receptionist with no front of house acumen. The outside temperature meant my room was over 25 degrees, you cannot open your windows when trying to sleep as the road is so close, in my case, approximately 15 meters away that I measured the road noise at 65 decibels. That is the equivalent of someone having a conversation in your room all night...

The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast and the restaurant were brilliant. Staff were helpful and friendly.
My room was above some kind of generator/air conditioning unit meaning that it sounded that there was a helicopter flying overhead.

We arrived late but had informed them on the way back from Cherbourg. They were very quick to check us in.
Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice. In the daylight the area was very nice and could have stayed longer
Trying to find it in the dark even with sat nav wasn't good I was looking for a Best Western sign rather than the actual name. We drove straight past it, Luckily it was the only hotel on the road and we arrived at 22.45pm

Location excellent for airport.
More meal choice in the in house restaurant

Really nice hotel with nice rooms and facilities
Bit awkward getting out of the road, as on a busy road, but just be patient.

pillows were not nice

Wonderful river-side location, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, very comfortable bed and plush towels, delicious breakfast and amazing bar and restaurant, all reasonably priced. Staff are wonderful, friendly, attentive and always with a smile.
No air conditioning, room became uncomfortably warm when the sun comes out, but at least can open the windows to let in a breeze.
There is no phone in the room to contact reception, although it wasn't a big inconvenience for us.

A lovely well kept hotel comfortable with very friendly staff in a nice overlooking river location.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean room with everything you need, and food was excellent. Close to airport and a taxi is at hand for £22 as the hotel have an arranged fee for airport transfers.
its a good 35 min walk into the shops, but other than that we would stay again

Location is great for us on our way to ferry terminal. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Bar is a bonus after a long drive. Breakfast is super with lots of choice and very tasty. Has a restaurant so don't need to leave to eat.
Nothing. Our overnight stop always now.

We were at a funeral locally and just wanted a reasonably cheap overnight stay before leaving early in the am. I looked at the reviews and it was a mixed bag but we were getting in late and leaving early so just booked. We were upgraded free of charge to a slightly bigger double room and I simply cannot fault anything. We didn't have breakfast, so I cannot comment on the food. We had a very late check in and popped into the bar for a drink. Both the reception and bar staff were very friendly. The prices were very good for a hotel. The room was suitably equipped and the bed was very comfy. Everything was very clean and the shower had good water pressure. We faced the main road but we live in London so didn't notice. What's not to like? Great value. I left my phone charger in the room and the hotel returned it to me in the post for less than a fiver. Great service. I read the reviews and often wonder what people expect for their money. I would definitely return.
Nothing.

the room was very clean warm and comfortable lovely bar area and the setting by the river was lovely
nothing really , but would of preferred a room at the back of the hotel with view of the river rather than at the front with the road which was quite busy
