Great Breakfast and beautiful garden
noise during the nights

exceptional concierge Mikael helped us out the day of arrival when our un drivable rental car was not replaced by Hertz. we were stranded in a small town 3 hrs from the hotel. He helped us find transportation out and to another town to rent another car. a stressful situation solved by Mikael.
4.0
The location. The ponton restaurant at the beach was pleasant.
Certainly not a 5 star, just a 4 and then again..room and bathroom in need of renovation as carpet in public areas. We had to call housekeeping 3 times after check in to replenish the room adequately. Shower exit very slippery. Noisy room and no choice but to leave the windows open as no a/c.
For breakfast, no offer for a continental breakfast, we had to request a special consideration at reception which they nicely agreed to.
Not a choice of à la carte menu in the restaurant.

Beautiful location, friendly staff

The restaurant is splendid and the food is superb, based on local and seasonal fish and vegetables. The service is friendly and attentive. A great dinner experience.
Overall, the hotel is great and perfectly located. However, rooms are dated and need a serious refurbishing (though the bathrooms have all the amenities). Room service is disappointing: we stayed 2 nights and they forgot to pick up our request twice and the food (otherwise good) arrived perfectly cold.
