Very good location. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean.
The pillows were not ok. They should be changed.

The location
No car chargers!!!

Le petit déjeuner varié. Le confort de la chambre.
Je n’ai pas eu le choix d’une chambre avec douche. La baignoire est peu pratique à partir d’un certain âge…
3.9
The beds were narrow, the bath was narrow, the hot water was not hot enough and lastly the table under the TV was dusty.
3.9
Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent (and heated!) swimming pool. We had a very nice and very reasonably priced dinner in the hotel restaurant. Extensive parking on site.
3.9
Easy access hotel with car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff, good size and comfortable rooms.
The hotel is about 15 -20 minute walk to the city centre, so easy to see the Cathedral, Tapestry and beautiful city. The Museum is reasonably close too.
From Bayeux it is about 20-30 minutes drive to Caen and the Normandy beaches for further sightseeing.
Bathrooms have shower/bath which is quite high, so may not suit young children nor the more elderly.
No mini bar in the room, no bottled water, although these are not a priority.
3.9
Tired hotel, needs refubishment. Not value for money. Staff were excellent though. Restaurant closed sunday and had a very small menu.

We enjoyed the easy access to all the landing beaches and Museums
We were disappointed that on several days our room was not serviced. It would be nice to have umbrellas around the pool, too hot to sit out there at times without shade
3.9
Location was perfect for the Normandy beaches.
Some of the staff need additional training, only one option for Beer available.
3.9
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Fast check in and check out. The lady at the reception was very helpful in recommending places for dinner. Parking available at hotel.
There was no mini fridge in the room, which would have been useful.
3.9
The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is in a good location
3.9
Well located and easy parking
The staff generally had an attitude problem, badly trained and inexperienced receptionists;a Batman that could not be found(four people waited 15 minutes before he breezed up then overcharged and asked for a tip.The room was not made up until we asked at 6pm.Generally a very unhappy atmosphere from the front of house staff-poor management not to assess and fix.

The details in Booking website and the room in the hotel dis not match at all.
Hotel dis not have any courtesy to explain anything.
Key cards kept failing
No phone in the room
No basic kits in the room
The staff were not helpful. Either they did not understand or they did not care. Hard to tell.
Everyone of the staying guest families were treated with a Good morning and thank you at the breakfast table.
We were eyeballed and overlooked.
our Child was told not to touch things. Even basic ask like "can you give me some hot water" was not serviced.
Overall very disappointed with the expensive stay that came at near zero value!

nothing
worst accommodation on our Normandie-trip. from the outside ok, but inside old-style and nearly rundown. Although the room was paid by card, they demanded a deposit about 80 Euros at the arrival. for what? for consummation as drinks, breakfast or dinner etc. we had dinner, and when we checked out, we were first told, the that we could consume the rest of the deposit while our next stay in a novotel! but thats not all: after that we found out, that they had booked the deposit and the dinner from our card. after threatening with the police we were told that they‘ll refund the deposit. so: acoid novotel, and, especially, don’t give them any deposit!

The staff were most helpful and friendly.
Nothing to moan about.

The hotel claimed to be able to cater for gluten free guests, but the restaurant staff had not been trained properly. Gluten free bread was placed next to normal bread at breakfast therefore came into contact with gluten through cross contamination. Confusion over whether a meal was gluten free at dinner was not reassuring, so we ate elsewhere. The hotel needs to improve this area of food safety - what if a guest has a nut allergy which is life threatening? Our experience at Novotel Barcelona and Tours was excellent with catering for gluten free - disappointed with the Bayeux Novotel in this regard.

Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. We'll soundproofed
The restaurant wasn't open on Sunday evenings

Breakfast was great with lots of choices of warm food and fresh gluten free bread!
The pool was not working and I had booked the hotel due to the pool
the room with an extra sofa bed seemed small

The location and the staff we very good.

The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Beautiful view of the green garden. I liked the fact that there was no art on the walls!

Location was perfect, being just outside Bayeaux. 5 minutes by car to town centre and museums. Hotel had good facilities. Free parking onsite was very beneficial.. Good sized room with ensuite batfh with shower . Kettle for making hot drinks. Plenty of electric sockets.. Good level of cleanliness.. Free Wifi.
Double bed was badly positioned with about 2 metres to spare on one side but less than 0.5 metres on the other side,! It was very difficult to get in and out on that side. Matress harder than we would like, but maybe that's down to personal taste.
Continental breakfast was overpriced at 20 Euros per person. Make sure you keep your receipt handy if you pay prior to departure date. The gent on Reception iwhen we checked out nsisted we owed money for a breakfast and i had to go through my luggage to find my receipt from the night before, proving we had paid in full. It delayed our departure which was not ideal considering we had an early ferry to catch.

Good location to Beyeaux, just a 10/15 min walk into the centre
Not many staff around - but all happy and friendly when speaking with them

The Novotel in Bayeux was a welcome stop on my trip back to Amsterdam from Portugal. Pet friendly and a good location to explore the surrounding area. The bar and restaurant was good, with a decent breakfast. There was plenty of parking and super quiet.
3.9
Great location for getting into Bayeux. Free parking. Rooms basic but comfortable and quiet.
No issues. Could have been water in the room and a better choice of drinks to make.
3.9
Reception Sied was VERY attentive to our checkin process...as was all other reception staff handling our needs during our stay. Also the the staff that handled the morning mini-breakfast delivering to our room was GREAT...VERY timely.
We were disappointed that the evening meal service was not offered to all guests on nights that there was catering made available to large groups???...perhaps offer an earlier dining time/reservations for non-group guests , and limit the menu to what you are serving the group??
In addition, do research on your location choice...especially if you don't have a car - you will taxi everywhere from the Novotels location.

we liked the overall property and the room was spacious & comfortable. staff was also friendly
the wifi here is extremely slow and the property is a good 30 minutes walk from the main town of Bayeux!

it was a really good location and plenty of parking. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable

The room was very dated, door frames and doors so overpainted impossible to close doors. The walls and carpets were dirty. Bed very uncomfortable
The room 41 was not as described when we booked this room, very disappointed.
In my extensive experience of hotel living this fell short of the description
I do not know how you could possibly rate this as a 4 star hotel, in my opinion it was no better than a 2 star
